I recently visited Istanbul with my family and the Tunel Residence was a big hit. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Service was excelent and extremely friendly. A spacious well equipped apartment very conveniently located in Taksim. A short Tunel ride down to the tram stop into the historic (tourist) centre of Istanbul. The suite was very roomy and we were able to entertain friends in the suite. The staff was courteous and always available to answer questions and help us at any time. The restaurant Big Chefs served excellent food with variety for every palate. the cost was extremely reasonable - will stay there every time I go to Istanbul.

The room was small but well equipped and fine for what we needed. The hotel was well located for sightseeing and the shopping and restaurant areas. It was a real bonus having the pool, sauna and hammam.

The room was very clean, has a very good kitchen appliences, the bathroom was in excellent condition the family suite is perfect, located near Galata tower and Taxim square, the room service was good and quick, staff are friendly, we had a good time there. Defenitly we will stay in this hotel in our next holiday

The hotel is very pleasant, well located in the New City, close to the Metro (Sishane) and a short walk from both the Galat Tower and the vibrant Istikal street, which is full of ever-open, reasonably priced shops, restaurants, and people. Our 'standard' double room was small, but comfortable, but with poor lighting. The higher grade rooms are much bigger. (We declined an offer to upgrade for an extra 70 Euros/day!) The bar/restaurant is a good feature, popular for non-residents too, with the evening staff most friendly and helpful. However, we found prices quite high (perhaps typically Istanbul) and the breakfast service irritatingly slow, especially if one has to be ready for an 8 am tour. Easy access from Tascim Place by metro/ walk/ tram. We stayed at one of the suite room and the room was spacious and modern with a nice view of old town and Garata Tower. Would highly recommend to my friend!

We had a very memorable experience, was happy with everything, the location was amazing, the staff was very helpful and the place was clean, n up to the mark in every aspect. Room service was excellent. The restaurant downstairs was awesome.

Excellent location to shops, great restaurants, clubs etc. The rooms are very, very small but great if you don't want to spend a lot of time in them. All staff very friendly. Hotel Restaurant was outstanding.

Pros: It is in the best spot in town for bars and restaurants, cafes, and shopping; It has a nice restaurant with decent prices in the ground level; the delux room is pretty comfortable for 3 people; decoration is very nice and modern; kitchen and appliances are in great conditions; hotel staff is very friendly and helpful; a stunning view to the sea […] from the apartment. Cons: Our room had a big rug under the coffee table in desperate need for replacement (dirty and weared off); No radio or ipod dock in the apartment; the swimming pool and jacuzzi needs to have a human friendly temperature; a bit too slow in housekeeping and they even missed to do it one day despite us leaving the apartment at 11am (plenty of time for them); some sections of the swimming pool needs maintenance as paiting is peeling off. the stuff is excellent but the room is very narrow & the rate is very expensive no intercontinental buffet , so the breakfast is expensive & there is no lobby in the hotel location is good near taksim square but i dont think it will be very convenient for next visit

But in this hotel, we could go to the down town because it was right around the corner and the hotel bar with street view was also stylish. The breakfast of the hotel restaurant was also interesting and most of the all the food from menu were really fresh and tasty! It is pity that we had dinner their on our last day. I stayed in a sweet. The building is new. The sweet is capacious and clean but the hotel service is terrible. At many times you can not communicate with the receptionists because the available person does not speak English. For two full days no body from the housekeeping showed up to clean the sweet or change the towels although I did ask the reception […] for it. This is hardly a good hotel service, let alone a 5-star hotel. I think I made a mistake by choosing this hotel/residence. It could be good for a couple or a family who will stay for a long time and who are interested in the dishwasher facility etc which was not my prime interest. Vi hade bokat för tre personer men bäddsoffan saknade sänglinne samt bara handdukar till två personer. Nescafé fanns bara två stycken.I kaffebryggaren fanns ett använt filter med kaffe kvar och det var fullt med mögel. Jag gick ner till receptionen för att påtala detta. Då gjorde mannen i receptionen sig lustig över min längd. Mer personal kom och samtliga […] skämtade över min längd. Fruktansvärt förödmjukande! Bäddsoffan var så obekväm så det gick inte att sova i den. Vi stannade i 5 dagar men varje dag fick vi säga till om handdukar och nescafé till 3:e personen. Konstigt att de tog bort handdukar för tre personer men bara fyllde på för två! De ordnade det alltid direkt men de bad aldrig om ursäkt för att de missat det. Dessutom bytte de alltid handdukar trots att vi hängde upp dem då vi inte ansåg att de behövde bytas varje dag. I beskrivningen över rummet stod att kökshanddukar m.m. skulle finnas men det gjorde det inte. När vi påtalade att inget diskmedel fanns fick vi till svar att städerskan skötte detta. Så varje dag startade hon en diskmaskin även om det bara var något glas att diska. Använde vi mycket porslin kunde vi inte själva göra rent detta om vi behövde använda det igen utan var tvungna vänta på att städerskan startade diskmaskinen.Badrummets handtag satt löst och lossnade en dag.Läget på rummet och utsikten var väldigt bra men den obefintliga servicen och hur de gjorde sig lustiga över min längd gör att vi känner oss väldigt besvikna. Un probleme de bruit dans la chambre car la febetre ne fermait pas. On l a sigbale mais pas repare. On a demande de changer de chambre ils onrt dit ok pour les deux dernieres nuits mais finalement ca n a pas ete fait. Le samedi ils ont telephone pour faire la chambre a 9h !!! Alors ils ont a peine fait les lits plus tard quand on est partis a 10h30

Ivm werk enlkele dagen hier verbleven. De standaardkamers zijn netjes maar zeer klein. De staat van onderhoud van Spa en Health club laat te wensen over. Hoogtepunt: het bij het hotel behorende restaurant. Dieptepunt: de kakkerlak die in het zwembad dreef.
