Nice hotel with nice surroundings. The bed is adjustable but I still find it hard even on the softest setting. The room had some weird smell, like someone had tried to cover up smoking in the room. Nice indoor pool area. Friendly staff at breakfast. Great valua of breakfast.

Fairly new hotel. Large rooms with small refrigerator and microwave. Walking distance to various restaurants and some shops. Short drive to WVU. Pleasant staff.

Very disappointed with breakfast charge. I will choice Hampton Inn next time: The rooms are just as nice, beds more comfortable, breakfast is free. Basically the same breakfast here cost $10/person. Although there was nothing "wrong", and the room was clean, there is considerable room for improvement in comfort and service.

Fog rolled in like a blanket so we had to stop driving. Called the 800 number for hotel.com told the lady what we needed an asked for no less than an overall rating of a 4 and got a 10.

The hotel was clean, had a great happy hour, and the gym and pool were open and in great shape. The attendants promptly delivered a pack and play for my 7 month old daughter. This is a very nice hotel with a nice pool and hot tub. We were just passing through and needed somewhere to stop for the night and was happy with this hotel. It seemed like new with comfie beds and clean rooms with a few places to eat within walking distance.

I was very pleased with mostly everything. The only complaint I have is of the breakfast Saturday August 18th. If you ordered an egg over easy, it would take 30 minutes, so we didn't. They ran out of coffee. It was confusing what to do with the breakfast coupon/voucher, so I just left it by a cash register. Not worth it - will pass the next time.

The people at the counter were helpful and friendly. When we ordered our breakfast, it took longer than it should have but the waitress said the kitchen staff was new. It took us over an hour for breakfast that day and there were only four of us! The food was good though. Is it possible to have an area out back where smokers can smoke? Walking through […] smoke to get to your front desk is not particularly appealing. We liked having a pass-through between rooms for our stay. Front counter check-in staff person we encountered in the evening was courteous, friendly and professional. Room was very clean and comfortable - exactly what we expect and receive each time we stay at a Hilton Garden Inn. Only negative was that it was a little far from the interstate but worth the additional drive.

Stayed here with my wife and 5 month old for my sister-in-law's graduation from WVU. The hotel itself was very well kept, and the staff was superb. We twice needed to ask for an extra blanket to act as padding for the baby in her pack-n-play and they were very prompt in getting the blankets. We also forgot a noise machine and they had it and got it […] for us very quickly when we stopped back in. The guy at the front desk during check-in (I believe his name was Alex) was probably the most friendly guy I've ever encountered for check-in, and I've been to dozens of hotels. Overall a great stay - great location next to WVU, in a shopping plaza with Buffalo Wild Wings, Five Guys, and a large grocery store (buy beer here, not at the hotel!!). I was in Morgantown for a work weekend and I really wanted a quiet room . This was! The bed and the pillows were excellent and the linens were clean. I truly appreciate that the coverlet is washed between each visitor. We were given a smoking room which was contrary to our desire. They said that Expedia does not stipulate smoking or non-smoking, only the least expensive room. We were very disappointed. The linens on the bed were wrinkled and grayish colored. They gave us fresh linens to put on the bed.

Staff was not helpful with directions I needed. I was very disappointed that I was told that I was 10 to 15 mins. from where I wanted to go and I was at least 30 mins. away. I would not have booked my stay had I known how far away I was. There is still a pending charge showing on my credit card that needs addressing.

I was in Morgantown for business. I wanted a hotel that I could soak in a hottub in the evenings after a long day during meetings/travel. I felt like it was the cleannest and nicest hot tub i have ever been in! The pool was small, but sufficient.

We stayed on the 5th floor and we could hear what sounded like a dryer running all night from up above pretty clearlly. We think it was the heating units or something. It was pretty loud without the tv on.

This was our second time staying in this hotel, which we found just as comfortable as the first time we stayed there. The only problem that we found this time was the water leaked out of the shower door when you were taking a shower, but not a biggie if you put a towel on the floor by the door.

This Hilton looks great, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast buffet is excellent and the pool/fitness area is meticulously maintained. The only negative point with this hotel is the strong musty/mold smell that we found in our room and in the rooms of two other families we traveled […] with (on floors 2 and 5). On another note, at the time of this writing, Expedia lists this hotel as a “Smoking” hotel with only smoking rooms available. That’s not the case – this Hilton is 100% non-smoking. I prefer a non-smoking hotel myself, however, the staff noted that when people check in with the idea they can smoke, they are sometimes obligate to honor the booking arrangement.
