"Nice hotel"
I booked this hotel for my mother and her brothers for a short family get together while visiting their sister in Jax Beach. They all said it was clean and nice--esp loved the breakfast, could not believe it had so much variety of diff foods and they said it was delicious! Only dissatisfied thing is that when I made the reservation, they said the room […] had two doubles and a sofa bed, but found out when they checked in the hotel had no such thing--so kind of squished with 3 grown people in one room. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Everything in our room was in working order and very comfortable. We had one complaint about an odor, which the staff took care of immediately. The complimentary continental breakfast was much more than coffee and pastries. We would stay here again, for sure.

"Convenient to Mayo Clinic"
The location is near the Mayo Clinic and the van service to and from the Clinic is very cinvenient.
We were very pleased with the location, service, and condition of the hotel. The breakfast bar was great.

The hotel staff were not organized nor prepared for the amount of people coming in to check in at once. There was no direction in the lobby and arguments between parents were breaking out. We absolutely would stay here again. The rates were very reasonable. Nice large area for breakfast buffet. Very clean. The only things missing were an outdoor pool and a balcony off the room. Just like having an outside space.

The hotel is right across the street from a huge shopping center with plenty of restaurants. The beach is probably about two miles down the road and is about the same distance to Adventure Island. New building, excellent staff, very clean and comfortable rooms.
We only stayed one night, but everything was great. Room was very clean, front desk rep. was very helpful and the location was very convenient. "Pictures doesn't do it justice"
Very nice hotel! The pictures displayed on the Hotels.com site does not reflect what you actually see. Very clean and the staff was very accommodating.
We had a problem finding good seafood restaurants in this area. Heavy construction in the area. The big problem was how noisy the air conditioning was in the room. Kept us awake just about all night. The air vent was not working and the steam from the bath delayed me getting prepared. I however, use the full length mirror (closet door). Other than that, everything was superb.

We stayed at your hotel due to the convenience to Mayo Clinic and were very pleased that we chose this Hampton Inn. We would definitely go back again if needed as all the services, personnel and buffet breakfasts were top notch.

The hotel is in a GREAT location!! You have Super Target & Walmart right across the street. There is plenty of places to eat close to the hotel as well. The hotel is very nice. The family loved it & also loved the indoor pool. We have found our hotel anytime we travel to the Jacksonville area!!!
Every thing was fine until I found someone elses dirty sock at the edge of the bed . Obviously the maid was in a hurry cleaning. Makes you wonder how well the room was cleaned.

"Not enough beds"
Hotel took reservations for a family of five but only had enough bed for four. They don't have roll away beds so they should not book for five. Had a kid sleep on the hard ground.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. This was our second time staying at a Hampton Inn and Suites, the first was in Florence, South Carolina. We were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the room especially the bed. Great room for the price.

"Location is a bit odd"
The hotel itself is typical of a Hampton, but the neighborhood on two sides of the hotel are a bit dodgy. I wouldn't go wandering around this one. Across the main road is basic shopping and restaurants. There is a lot of construction on the main road and my gps brought me in the back side to what again, is a rough looking neighborhood.

The hotel was very nice and new. Getting in and out of the hotel was sometimes challenging due to road constrution and sometimes noisy. It is about 3 miles from the beach but an easy drive. Lots of places to eat in the area. We never made it up in time for breakfast but my brother and his wife ate there and like it very much.
