Awful...check in took forever. Room i reserved and PAID for in advance was unavailable. Check out took longer than it should. No breakfast served like others in same class do...terrible.

"Candlewood Suites Athens, Ga - so-so"
This hotel is behind two other buildings whose parking lots you have to go through to get to the hotel. Not such a big deal, but when you call to ask where they are located - because you can't see it from the road - the front desk help can't seem to explain this. The hotel is economy at best. Nice hotel - will stay here again. The A/C is a little loud, but other than that - a great hotel.

Great hotel. Customer service was great. Room was very clean. Gave it a 4 only because air conditioner was pretty loud. Would stay here again.

Once we were able to check-in, it was very smooth. Unfortunately the front desk clerk is the only person at the hotel (at least the day we checked-in) and we waited 25 minutes for him to return from folding laundry. He was very apologetic and very nice BUT had we not booked through hotels.com (and pre-paid), we would not have waited so long to check-in […] and left to go somewhere else. My husband had concerns about the hotel being an extended stay property but found nothing to worry about here. I called to reserve two roll-away beds. I was assured at they were reserved for me. When I arrived there were no beds for my two teenagers. Not good.

Great room & great price! Rooms were spacious and clean. Will definitely stay at Candlewood Suites again!

Very nice accomodations. Room was very clean, kitchen had everything you would want! On-site exercise room and free laundry facility a plus! Great staff, friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone!

I was really impressed with the taste level of Candlewood! The rooms were spacious enough for our family of four,and the beds slept like a dream! The kitchen area is convenient, but we did not take advantage of this amenity. there was no breakfast, but we usually skip this amenity as well (it's a leisure trip - who wants to cook?).
