"NOT BAD. ROOM FOR INPROVEMENT"
THE LOCATION WAS VERY GOOD. THE HOTEL HAD NO PERSONAL ATTENTION AND NO AREA KNOWLEDGE. MORE TIME COULD HAVE BEEN SPENT ON RECOMMENDATIONS TO RESTAURANTS AND EVENTS. SUGGEST BETTER CUSTOMER ATTENTION FOR FUTURE SUCCESS AND BETTER RATINGS.

Just enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the Hotel Armando. The room was very well laid out, and very clean. The only fault was the hardness of the bed, but that was all. The location was excellent, and the restaurant next door is definitely worth a visit.

We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Armando, using it as our base to explore this part of Italy. The hotel is very modern looking on the inside, both in the rooms, as well as the public areas. Every portion of the hotel is clean, and they provide an excellent free breakfast each morning. The rooms are quite large for a European hotel, especially for the […] prices. We also found that the restaurant that is directly next door was an excellent choice. The main issue we ran into here had to do with parking. On their site, as well as on 3rd party sites, they advertise free parking available. The parking though is street parking only and it is extremely limited. You're basically on your own to find it and the hotel will only give you a permit to put on your dashboard to allow you to park there. If you can't find a parking spot on the street near the hotel, you'll be forced to find a parking lot that you'll need to pay for at close to 20 Euros/Day. To us, this was basically false advertising and needs to be adjusted on the advertisements for this hotel. Also, after 10 PM, the only staff on duty is a security guard from a 3rd party company. While he is friendly, he doesn't have the ability to handle any typical hotel requests during late night hours, which could be problematic if you have an issue during those hours. However, the location of the hotel is excellent as it is within easy walking distance of all attractions in Verona. Verona as a city is also centrally located for day trips to Lake Garda, Vicenza, Padova and portions of the Dolomites. This is a hotel we'd recommend, but if you are driving there, make sure you take the parking issues into account. Pročitajte više

A modern hotel in downtown Verona, rooms are neat, not overly spacious, but definitely fine for an inner-city hotel. Location is perfect for the Arena shows and exploring old town Verona. The free parking offered is street parking, for which you get a permit during your stay. "Hotel close to downtown Verona"
This is a good location to walk to downtown. However, the "free parking" means a permit which allows you to park on the street. You must find parking on your own which can be a challenge depending on the time of day. The beds are very hard so not comfortable. Breakfast is good.

We were very satisfied with our choice of Hotel Armando for our stay in Verona. Walking distance to Arena and old city, complimentary street parking, easy wi-fi access, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as value for money. Good meals at the trattoria next door.
Very good location for Verona. 5 mins walk to the main square & shopping areas. Hotel clean, breakfast good, Only down side was major building works opposite. When this is complete would be ideal.

Lovely little hotel in Verona, don't be put off by the outside of the buiding as once inside it is really modern and well furnished. Only 10 minutes walk to the Arena but quite a jaunt from the train station (too far with cases - we got a taxi back!). Overall, good service and a good standard room at a good price - would reccommend.

Except for one snippy, arrogant, spiked-hair hotel receptionist the staff was quite helpful. They made reservations, recommended restaurants, and answered all of our questions. The hotel is a short walk from the Arena and surrounded by great places to eat and shop. It is tucked away a little bit and doesn't have much parking out front but just a couple blocks away is a parking lot. The room was spacious and very comfy. My wife and I chose this hotel based upon previous reviewers comments and we were not disappointed. The location is very convenient being a gentle 5-10 minute stroll to the Arena and the centre of Verona old town. If I were to have a criticism it would be that there is limited storage space for clothes, other than those that can hung on hangars, and […] that there is nowhere to hang a damp towel after having a shower. I guess the fact that the towels were changed daily (as was the bed linen) meant that the towels could have been left on the floor. "Hotel Armando in Pisa"
This is a lovely, older hotel, and our room was clean, updated bathroom, and quaint - just the kind of room you would hope to find in Italy. Staff were great and buffet breakfast was always good. Location is excellent, we could walk everywhere. If not carrying a lot of luggage, you could walk to the train station from the hotel in about 15 minutes.

"Perfect location at reasonable price"
I've been very impressed by this hotel, the location is great, on a quiet street just five minutes walk from piazza Bra - where the Arena is located. The hotel is modern and the room I was staying included fridge, wide screen lcd tv, comfortable bed, air conditioning, wireless internet, spacious bathroom with rain shower and hairdryer... on top of it […] hey were offering various services free of charge - e.g. toothbrushes, shaving kit, etc. The breakfast is generous, plenty of choices in the buffet, an automatic machine for hot beverages and another for fresh juices. The hotel is provided of a room with computer and printer in case you have to check in online and print your boarding passes, something that I found very useful. The hotel also provides for free parking in the nearby parking spaces, a great addition considering it would cost more than ten euros to park the car daily. "Great little place"
Stayed here with my wife for our second wedding anniversary, returning to the Arena to see Carmen. Was looking for somewhere affordable and local for the Arena and read good reviews for Hotel Armando. We weren't disappointed - the room was excellent: clean, well equipped and had everything we needed. The only minor downers were the loudness of the air-con, […] which wasn't so bad when you got used to it, and unfortunately in the morning the shower ran cold and the pressure dropped - probably because most of the other guests were waking up too. Had good hot showers when we arrived though, much needed in the scorching heat. Breakfast in the morning was a very good buffet. Very surprised it was a 2-Star place - would say 3-star for sure. "Very good hotel particularly the rooms for the location and price"
Initial impression on arrival was not that great as the hotel is tucked away on a back street, all be it in a quiet area. Then the reception area and lift looked rather unimpressive as well. "A fancy hotell"
It is situated near the river and the Arena and close to the old part of the town. Easy to find and in a quiet part of the town. Nice rooms, good size , very modern, and with a lovely bathroom. Nice breakfast. I would very much like to stay at hotel Armando next time I visit Verona.

El hotel en general está bien y el desayuno es bueno y abundante. El inodoro es algo incómodo, entre la ducha y el soporte del papel higiénico resulta dificil la acomodación. Nuestra habitación da a una especie de galería sin ninguna vista.

Gute Lage, Sehenswürdigkeiten in Gehdistanz. Von aussen würde man nicht erwarten man nicht, dass das Hotel innen so modern und zweckmässig eingerichtet ist. Zimmer sind grosszügig. Frühstück bestens. Das Hotel kann in jeder Beziehung empfohlen werden.
