I felt that the Hotel needed an overall facelift.

Statyed there for 5 nights. The hotel is poorly maintained, the rooms are not cleaned or vacuumed on a regular basis. The sleeper sofa that we needed because there were three of us was a DISASTER. We asked for a different mattress for the sofa and got an even worse one. Bed linens were not changed on the 4th night of our staye and when we asked for […] somebody to do it nobody was available at 6pm so we took the sheets to do it ourselves. We were shocked to discover wet stains on a sheet and when Asst. Gen Manager came to our room, we found more stains on another sheet, as well. That man, Chris, went out of his way to make the remainder of our stay more comfortable. He even went to a store and bought a memory foam mattress topper for the sleeper sofa so when were able to actually sleep on it the last night of our stay. For the previous four nights my mother, my daughter, and myself we all slept on the king bed in the room although we were charged for third person in the room, i.e. the use of the sleeper sofa.The front desk personnel were nice, too, but there is something terribly wrong with the maintenance department. The overall service was awesome!

Nice hotel kind of secluded from everything....

It was really great if your planning to take a cruise! If not, it is a bit far from downtown! But everything was really great!

Nice clean hotell but very offside. The hotell are squeezed between roads, a bridge and the water. The breakfast that where incl. where very american :-)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the amenities. We highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Long Beach area.

I was very frustrating having a very late evening arrival. I could not find the hotel. My mapquest directions were horrible and the downtown Long Beach area is VERY busy. I could not use my navigation on my phone because of this. I called the hotel directly and the gentleman stayed on the phone with me, through every turn and guided me in. When I checked […] in, I got a couple of beverages for the evening and he even bought me one! I'm sorry I didn't write down your name. Once we checked in, we were on the opposite side of the hotel and wanted a view of the other side of the harbor where the cruise ships were. The room had nice accommodations; refrigerator, microwave, stove, seating area(Sofa, chair, table). It was somewhat dated and not in a convenient location.

I will no longer stay at the HIlton when staying in Long Beach. It seemed to be the norm for the staff to go out of their way to take card of us.

I like this style of room, with a kitchen. Spacious and comfortable. Everyone we dealt with was great., Parking was ok, had a ticket lot but they validated it and no charge. Plenty of room for parking. Location beautiful but not close to anything, definitely not walking distance. Suited our purposes though very well.

The location is a little off of the beast and track and conveiluted roads to get there. Once there for the first time finding it is a breeze, there after; and well worth it. LARGE standard rooms! The hot breakfast was very filling and very tastey . Well worth the stay and with walking distance of The Queen Mary and the Carnival Terminal along the shoreline […] path (not with much luggage. I was very satisfied with my stay at the Residence Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The hotel was walking distance to the Queen Mary. The room was really nice and modern looking. I like the fact that the rooms had flat screen TVs. I also liked the fact that the room had its own kitchen and fridge. […] The room felt like a little cozy apartment and not a hotel room. Lovely accommodations and would return again.

Nice hotel, the rooms are very nice, the service is good, A bit secluded if that is what you want. A good 20 min. walk across the bridge to dinning and entertainment.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to the LBGP track, very close. The only thing that was not good was the bed 3 nights of a very very hard bed. Woke up with a sore back.

This hotel was perfect for us! Large rooms with a full kitchen :) Great Breakfast and good location! we will stay here again for sure!!!

We stayed one night and the hotel was perfect! Clean, neat and relaxing. The service was excellent. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, looking for a nice view in downtown Long Beach near the Aquarium of the pacific.

The hotel was very nice. We were attending the Hair Expo and only stayed one night. Southwest Airlines misplaced my Niece's baggage so I had it delivered to the hotel even though we were already ck'd out. The front desk was awesome, they even called me when it was delivered. I would definitely stay there again. : )

At check in, the clerk did not explain anything to us (ie., time of check out, complimentary breakfast, or incidentals charge on our credit card. Although we were provided with an extremely nice view of the ocean, I found that the room was not as clean as I'm used to with Marriott. I found strands of hair on the extra pillow and in the closet. There […] was not wastepaper basket in the room (only in the kitchen). We requested extra blankets and had to call housekeeping 3 times and wait 2 hours before they finally showed up with it. The room was very nice, but the service was awful. When we checked in, the desk staff appeared flustered and rushed (the computer was down), didn't make much eye contact, failed to let us know how to exit the parking lot (it's card activated), and didn't bother to tell us that there was a free breakfast. The hotel was also very hard to find and to access, […] partially due to road construction. Although the room was great, I would not stay here again due to the poor service and location. Beautiful suite with incredible view; quiet A/C, big TV with swivel screen; large fridge, microwave, and cooking area, immaculately cleaned room with clean carpets to boot. Very quiet room, extremely comfortable bed.

The view was beautiful and the rooms were very clean. I loved the small kitchen...it made it feel more complete like a home and not a hotel room. I'd definitely stay there again.

The location is not ideal, however, the hotel is outstanding. You will not be able to walk to any shopping or restaurants and due to this I don't think I would return, unless I just planned on staying at the hotel the whole time. This brand new hotel is very clean and modern. I thought it was a bit pricey being that there were other higher star hotels considerably cheaper but the hotel did offer nice amenities(pool, social evening with food and drink Monday, Tuesday and Wednsesday nights, breakfast every day.)It definitely caters to the business crowd. The location is odd being […] that it is right next to the busiest container port in the world and the views from one side of the hotel are not very pleasing. You have to walk across a pretty long bridge(which does have a sidewalk)to access Long Beach town or drive. There is a lot of construction going on around the hotel and it looks like the area will be nice once completed. All in all, it is a nice hotel and I would stay again. I wish the hotel would reconsider its 100 non-refundable pet charge. Most people who travel with their pets(like myself) have very well behaved pets. My husband and I stayed here with our toddler. We were very impressed with our suite and the view of the water. We didn't use the kitchen, but poked around and found all the basics a guest would need if he/she decides to cook. For us, spending a little bit more to get a suite is worth it, to have more space to spread around. One thing that disappointed […] us was there weren't movies to rent, just basic cable (no HBO). It was a big deal to us having a toddler who is out for the evening and we had nothing to watch on TV. We would have loved to pay for some current movies since we haven't seen any in a while. Another complaint is the location. You can see the hotel from the freeway, but the roads take you in a round about way to the hotel. We passed it a few times before we were able to get there...a bit frustrating when you're tired. Other than that, fabulous hotel stay, clean, great breakfast, great lobby, professional service. Schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Die Zimmer sind rießig und sehr komfortabel. Das Hotel liegt zwar neben einer Straße, aber in den Zimmern hört man keinen Autolärm. Das Frühstück ist das Beste, was wir während unserer 4-wöchigen USA Reise in den Hotels bekommen hatten.
