The hotel was extremely nice, spotlessly clean and service was great. The movie star theme of the hotel was an added bonus. The lobby area was great, quiet and had two computers for the use of guests as well as wifi in the rooms. The underground parking lot was also clean and secure. Very clean, well located and excellent service. Highly recommended.

A beautiful hotel with an extremely helpful staff. Don't let the walk bother you to the city center.

Location was more than the 15-20 minute walk to the old town advertised. Also the surronding area around the hotel left much to be desired.

The hotel astoria 7 was very nice although i could not understand the restaurant only being open on thurs,fri and sat in the middle of august. It was a fair walk from the hotel to the lively area of san sebastian but i didnt mind walking. Staff was nice, room was very nice--despite getting the Mel Gibson themed room! Not a fan. Cafe across the street has excellent coffee. Did not try the restaurant in the hotel. WiFi is free--call the desk for log-in info. Parking is available in the attached garage. If you are used to walking, all the things you want to see are within a mile walk or so. Or there is a bus stop across the street that takes you to where all the shopping/bars/restaurants are. Astoria 7 is a swish hotel in a quiet, leafy area of San Sebastian. We walked to all the sights of San Sebastian which are a few blocks away but for those who don't want to walk, a bus is available outside the hotel. Our room, a double superior, had plenty of space and was very comfortable with with a lounge and king size bed. good hotel, a little out of town, but handy for the bus station nearby, only negative no local restaurants after a busy day sightseeing uptown and bar restaurant in the hotel which is separate / more focussed on local street trade not very helpful if you don't speak spanish - but it still is a good hotel despite the restaurant

Staff is very friendly & helpful. Use of free internet was nice. Lounge area is relaxing and the theme of the hotel is funky. Close to bus station-across the street-so if you're coming from Bilbao by bus, it's very convenient. But, it's a good 15-20 min walk to the beach area & the old part of town. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Astoria 7 was much better than our 5 star hotel stay in Barcelona. The service, the accommodations, the decor and the atmosphere were all first rate. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was one of the nicest we've stayed at. All the rooms are film themed. We stayed in the John Malkovich room. Before you ask, it was a full floor, not a half floor. Modern room, great bathroom for Spain. A shower that I could have stayed in for hours. We loved our stay in this funky, modern hotel! Reception staff were always really friendly and helpful, the bus stop was outside the door and the bus depot across the road! Rooms were spacious, comfortable with gorgeous fittings and bathrooms. Loved the movie star themed room and the complimentary fils, they made each evening special when we got back […] from dinner. Friendly and relaxed and very smart - no pretence - even proper bacon and eggs for Breakfast cooked to order. TV. great bar with pintxos and cheap wine and fantastic Spanish cognac in big dollops. What a great place. Film themed throughout. I stayed in Tippi Hedren and lat year Stanley Donen. Alfred Hitchcock sits in the foyer!

This is a great hotel with an excellent staff!

If you can get it cheap, it is not too bad of a walk. They name all the rooms after stars, plus they have dates for birth and death of star, I really don't want to have a room named after me, it feels like they are waiting to put the final dates on all the posters.

We were really happy with this hotel. From a comfort standpoint, the air conditioning worked INSTANTLY. Good sized bathroom with a very large counter next to the sink which is never guaranteed in Europe. The rooms were very clean. I came back early one day and there were three people cleaning the room. We loved the location across from the bus station […] (really more of a bus stop). We took a few day trips and it was really handy. The noise was not an issue. The "movie theme" was goofy but didn't detract from our experience. 15 minutes from Parte Viejo but it's a pleasant walk. A kilometer or so from the front and the centre, but an interesting walk, nevertheless. Excellent little bar restaurant with plenty of charcterful young bar staff. Polite very helpful front of house wthe this amusing 'each room is a film star/director' theme. Seems a bit odd hving a massive picture of Stanley Donen above the bed - Sophia Loren might […] have been nicer! I have no problems with this hotel; short of high end luxutryu, this is absolutely fine. Clean, youthful seeming and altogether charmibng. They even cooked you a breakfast if you wanted it. スペイン語も英語もあまり出来ない私達に根気よく丁寧に接してくれるホテルの方々に感動しました。とにかく人が素晴らしい。ホテルの施設は清潔でなにも問題なし。カトリーヌドヌーブのへやはそこそこ広くて快適。近所にドンセラピオと言う総菜屋がありとても便利。ビルバオやゲタリアやリュズに行けるバス停がすぐそばにあり交通の便もかなりいい。旧市街には20分位かかるが良い散歩道です。勿論、バスでもいいです。

Vi var veldig godt fornøyd med vårt helgeopphold på Astoria 7. Hyggelig betjening, fine rom, god frokost og parkering i kjelleren. Hotellet ligger en liten spasertur fra restaurant-og shoppingstrøket. Anbefales.

Prima locatie. Buiten de drukte van het oude centrum en het strand, maar die is met kwartiertje lopen wel binnen handbereik. Ook openbaar vervoer 'om de hoek'. Schone kamer, ruime en schone badkamer, prima geluidsarme airco. De sfeer van het hotel past bij de fraaie badplaats San Sebastian.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hotel bruyant et petit dejeune seulement jusqu'à 10h30.

Mycket nöjda med hotellet. Rent, bra service, fin lounge och bra bar/restaurang. Dock en liten promenad in till själva city.

Riktigt fräscht hotell med bra service och roligt tema (film). Dock en 15 min promenad genom San Sebastian för att nå stranden, men det var de värt.

tres bon hotel à 15 mn de marche de la vieille ville. Chambre spacieuse et propre. C'est ce que l'on attend d'un 4 étoiles

Pasamos dos noches alojados en este hotel. Nos lo recomendó un amigo de San Sebastián. Lo mejor la calidad del hotel en general. La ubicación está a 20min andando del casco antiguo. Se hace pesado a la vuelta. La ida es entretenida porque está cerca de la catedral y zonas comerciales.

Las habitaciones muy cómodas, las camas grandes y con colchón duro en el que descansas estupendamente, tiene tv de pantalla plana y dvd, servicio gratuito para poder ver una película con toda tranquilidad en tu propia habitación, sobre todo clásicos. Un albergo modernissimo e divertente. Tutto il suo arredamento si ispira alla storia del cinema mondiale. Le stanze sono intitolate a grandi attori e registi. Le stanze, non grandissime, sono molto comode e silenziose. Il ristorante serve cose semplici e raffinate di buona qualità. Il bar degli ottimi boccadillos fino a tardi. We're just back from a wonderful week in San Sebastian. Brilliant beaches and the world's best pinxos pretty much sums up our stay. The Astoria 7 was a relaxing place to stay, clean, good service and an excellent breakfast buffet. It's location close to the bus station makes getting around easy.

L'hôtel est très bien mais sur le site internet on ne donne pas toute les information consernant l'hôtel. comme le parking payant , et les horaire du petit déjeuner .Sinon l'hôtel et très sympa mais malheureusement l'hôtel est mal place et la vue laisse a desiré .
