Sunrise Tirana Aqua Park Hotel - All Inclusive - Sharm el Sheikh

The hotel is starting to look a little tired and was clearly never put together amazingly in the first place. Saying that I really enjoyed my stay. The good is ok to good but the other residents can turn it into a mad rush for food dead on 7pm! The staff were nice and seemed to appreciate a smile and some manners (something out east European friends […] seem to be lacking). The red flag system at the pool means you can avoid being bothered by the people selling massages etc which is useful as they can be relentless. The different pool areas means that there is an area for everyone. There are waterslides, a kids adventure pool, a relaxing pool and several pool bars. We stayed at the three hotels with the best aqua parks in Sharm and although aqua blu had the best aqua park this was without doubt the best hotel. Good rooms, good facilities, great staff and a very high standard of cleanliness. I am a Chef by trade and have to say overall the food is not great in any of the hotels we stayed in. This said there budget […] is tight and I really think they put the effort in so overall the food here was OK. A real positive was there always seemed to be a hotel management presence around. Staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. They work exceptionally hard and long hours. Cleanliness excellent although the general state of repair of some of the public toilets and buildings left a little to be desired. Food was overall really good, but with my husband being semi-vegetarian, and with me being intolerant to cow's milk, eggs and […] almonds, it was difficult to eat sometimes, as even vegetables would either be stuffed with mince or cheese or fried in batter. It would be helpful if they had an ingredients list or at least a "contains ..." list on the signs. Also signs were very bad English so sometimes you had to have a good look or even a prod around to see exactly what it was! I put these concerns into writing to the restaurant manager, so hopefully they will be addressed. I once saw them use the tongs from raw chicken in the steak - I mentioned this to the restaurant manager so hoping that this is addressed also. One other point was that there are no lifts (elevators) so for disabled access or those with buggies or prams it's very bad as you have to climb stairs to get anywhere. Overall a great hotel. We probably won't go back as we like to go out and explore and in this area it was difficult to do anything except use the pools within the hotel or the hotel beach unless you spent money on a trip. They gave us the wrong room - a twin instead of Queen room and refused to change it. The food at meal times is ok, but throughout the day the snacks are not great. The hotel is well maintained and well staffed, the pools are nice and for the price (we paid) this is a great place to stay. this hotel is fantastic the staff are friendly, its sooo clean, the food is great and there is a wide variety to choose from, the kids entertainment is great not much goes on after 11pm tho which kinda kills it as the hotel isnt near anywhere, thats the only problem its far out from the busy places , 150 egyp pound return taxi to go to naama bay but […] sayin that its good not to be stayin right in the centre way to many pests that dont leave you alone women have to be careful, this hotel was just perfect i couldnt have asked for a better hotel , especialy gamal the taxi driver he is such a nice man he looked out for us and helped us soo much. if i went back yo egypt i would go back to this hotel. Het animatieteam is geweldig, en ook het andere personeel is heel vriendelijk. De zwembaden zijn mooi, en het privestrand ietwat klein maar erg goed. Vi er svært fornnøyd med Sunrise Tirana AquaPark. Personalet var veldig hyggelig og ga god service hele døgnet. Veldig god og variert mat. Kun lokale merker på alkohol og mineralvann, men funket. utrolig flott anlegg rundt hotellet. En STOR badepark med 15 vannsklier. Tennis og fotballbane, treningssenter med topp moderne utsyr, spa, 4 ulike restauranter […] i tilegg til hovedrestauranten, mange store basseng, aktiviteter på dagtid og underholding hver kveld.
