Nirvana Hermitage - Anjuna

My wife and I loved our stay at Nirvana. The staff were very friendly and courteous. We will definitely go back.

The otel is located in a secluded area in Anjuna Beach, very close to the famous German Bakery. The staff is well-mannered and the rooms are clean. Serene surroundings, hilltop location, spacious & cozy rooms, very tasty food, clean hotel, poolside resto & bar and courteous & polite staff. That sums it up. Had no problem during the stay. Only negative factor is that, it is a couple of kilometers away from the beach. But if you're renting a bike or car, then this is the place to be.

The property is nice but located at a hilltop. They say its close to the beach but its not a walkable distance. Atleast 2 Km. Their Standard Rooms and Delux Cottage are the SAME. We were 2 families and we had booked both. Infact i found that the standard room was larger than the so called delux cottage. The photo of the delux room gives an impression […] that you will get a double King size bed and a single Queen size bed... Wrong.... There is only 1 King size bed. You have to request for an extra bed which is small and hard. The photo of the room is not what you will get. So if you plan to book a delux room, dont waste money, standard room is better (except if the flooring and wall lamps matter more than the size of the room). Overall good hotel. Nice friendly and helpful people. A vehicle (hotel will help you rent it) is a must. I would prefer staying at a location closer to the beach or the markets. If you are a nature lover and want to sit in the room or hotel compound, you will love to stay here. Complientary breakfast is not great but reasonable good. I will give this hotel 6 out of 10. Excellent location although a bit hard to find. But once you reach it is real Nirvana. Excellent rooms and efficient staff. Good food and service. Nice to relax and be laid back.

The hotel rooms face the beautiful garden and the sea giving a very calm and comfortable stay. The only drawback is the variety and quality of food. The food is really boring.

This hotel is located in Anjuna, not like the address reads as Baga. The food is average nothing exceptinal and is highly priced. The hotel is situated on a hillock and the road from the hotel to the main road takes about 20mins and tends to get lonely post sunset. So incase you are a couple pls beware. One definetly needs to have your own vehicle/rent […] a vehicle, else the private services are extremely expensive. You can contact Joe, the rent a vehicle owner, his details are avialble from the hotel only,he is resonable than the rest and vehicles are also in good condition.The staff at the hotel are courteous as long as you can connet to them, most of the times the phones either at the reception or the restuarant are answered only after 5 missed calls. Nirvana Hermitage is an awesome property in the silent end of Anjuna, where only thing you can hear in the night is the DJ Sound from Curlies :) ... The description of the Deluxe Cottage was not as advertised on the website. The hotel is in a lovely quiet area of Anjuna up the top of a hill near the Flea Market and 15 min. walk down to the beach. But very hard walk back up again! The gaps under the doors let in so many large ants, small ants and a large cockroach. The toilet and bath were always […] covered with so many large and small ants which was unpleasant. I spent very little time in this hotel, only for sleeping. Air conditioning was leaking. shower was not a rainfall shower but trickled hot and cold water. Room floor always had lots of ants. I would not go there again. Very Very Unprofessional , after a long day out we arrrive tired at the hotel when we arrive in the evening after a 2 days stay we get to know our room is locked and we cannot get into our room untill we pay for the extra adult it was shocking cause i had never refused on that ,, moreover ours was a prepaid booking paid in full in advance and we were […] only to pay for extra adult which i had discussed before and on my arrival and had also offered to pay on arrival but was told by reception we can pay and settle on check out ... with my wife and son waiting at the lobby for 30 minutes till this was sorted , even when i had spoken personally with Sanjay the owner ,so wondered why this now after 2 days and imagine the manner i am being approached i mean why locking of room etc cant you straight away present the extra bed bill , My question was why did you not take the money on arrival or at any given time when you laid the extra bed you could have asked for it now . is it my fault? did i refuse to pay on arrival or at any given time ? it was surprising and totally unprofessional,all i wanted to do at that time was check out after paying them whatever they asked for , but now i was told i cannot check out as booking for other 2 days cannot be cancalled or refunded so we have to do what hotel managment has told us ,, so we did that and survived the other 2 days , About the Hotel The pool was good and clean , the room was fine the flat screen TV was missing but you can do without that , and as im not used to the matress you sink in them so may end up with a back pain , they have a snooker table but i could not find the chess and carrom , owner said its there staff said its not ? however for me ill avoid it for future cause i found youre not a guest you are a customer ...and its far too expensive for the prices you being charged even if you being given a heafty discount, if you ask me the property is good so one can spend 1 night or 2 but lacks very much in location as its t Pročitajte više

We stayed 2 nights at Nirvana Heritage and really enjoyed it. It was so peaceful, room was spacious and clean, An absolute bargain for the price we pay. Within walking distance of beach and market but probably 2km to main village. Hotel food was good and also restaurants at bottom of hill. Would really recommend as good value.

Beautiful property, great Ambiance, They would have to improve on there Taxi Services and Room service food and on the breakfast. Can also improve on leaving information of there property in the room. But yes I can say it was Value for money.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good. We appreciate restaurant guys who took care of us. The photos looks good in they have pasted in website but not so great in reality.

The hotel is on top of a hill called nowhere. Staff are very courteous but service is relaxed bordering on lazy. We had 2 rooms and both rooms had plumbing issues which would make the rooms stink if the water was not kept running in the bath area. Overall a definite no no for the cost and quality of accommodation. Please avoid.
