The hotel is located next door to the Airport. No Fox News on the cable TV but had anti-American Al Jazeera. Air conditioning in the room was inadequate. Had no ironing board or iron available. The toilet seat had a crack in it and needs to be replaced. Warning: You don't want to injure yourself sitting on a cracked toilet seat in the room we had (Room 552). The windows are very dirty and need to be cleaned! The hotel is badly maintained! No salt and pepper available on the tables in their restaurant.

check in was quick and easy even though we arrived at 11am, which is 3 hours before usual check in. overall a very good stay :)

Great for a stopover on arrival and/or departure - especially if you're on one of those after midnight flights. The included breakfast buffet is pretty good!

Our family arrived late from the airport Christmas Night and we were certainly tired. The Staff upgraded us to an Executive Suite which was very nice. The Waterfront has the makings to be a truly fabulous hotel. There are things that could be improved that stand in it's way for that to be a reality. One that stood out was a huge gap of the glass shower […] doors which resulted in a big puddle in the bathroom. Cleaning up water with our towels late at night was not what I had in mind. I think that having 3 prong electrical outlets (grounded) thinking safety here, would be something I would also expect from a top hotel. Waterfront has superb ambiance and we interacted with very polite staff when we had any problem. The two complimentary buffet breakfasts were the great surprise! Unpleasant reception staff. Our reserved and prepayed room was not available to us when checking in at 8pm, with the excuse "room has not been cleaned yet". We were then given a twin room instead of the booked double, with no other choices and without any apologies. Overall, the hotel and the staff are very good, especially the staff. They are friendly, and very helpful. I stayed here for a total of 5 nights so far, with one more to go and the only downside is that the toilet didn't work properly in one of the rooms, the sink leaked in another, and the rugs didn't seem like they had been vacuumed on a regular basis. […] Other than those minor items, I found this hotel to be very good. The hotel carpet smells bad and look very dirty. The walls need to be painted. The bed is outdated.

Again i will recommend this hotel. Its close to the airport ( 4 mins to walk ), the service is great, its clean, nice rooms, ok pool area and the gym is maybe not well equipped, but enough to spend some time there to keep tight. This is the second time staying in this hotel due to the convenience of it being next to the airport. They have to coach the front desk personal to be more friendly and helpful. I feel the security, restaurant and concierge personal were way lot more friendly and helpful. The hotel is old and has this musky smell. Had the same smell in the room but […] after I turned the aircon to the coldest setting it seems to have lessened or I got used to it. Apart from those I feel it’s still a good and reasonably priced hotel. Breakfast served was really good. I would like to specially mention of the sales gal who attended to me at the pastry counter. Perfect location, I must say. Walking distance to the airport if you need to catch a flight. They also offer a good breakfast buffet. The staff were very friendly, accomodating. Unfortunately, I requested an airport pickup because my flight got to Cebu at midnight, nobody met me and I still have to call for them to pick me up. The room was not very […] clean, stains on the carpet. I could hear people talking and laughing while inside my room and it woke me up at 5am. This hotel is extremely convienent if you are going there for business. It is across the street from the airport and within walking distance of the Economic Zone. I have stayed at both Waterfront hotels and I think the food is better at this one

This hotel is great if your on a budget.. Not much around but its very conveniently located next to the airport. The band in the casino area was fantastic and sung all the latest hits and they were brilliant.

This hotel was no doubt a once fine establishment but now looks a little rough around the edges. Many of the staff are skilled and polite - sadly let down by slow and inept colleagues, so expect to receive a mixed service. The room I had was a large suite which was very musky - it had a very old carpet. The place needed modernization a lot. Everything was old and dated. Despite having prepaid two nights I left soon after arriving and moved elsewhere for the two nights. Though the location is convenient for Cebu Airport there are better value for money hotels nearby.

This might have once been a fine hotel but no longer. Hotels.com and others advertise high def tv in room...our room had an old 19 inch crt tv with iffy service. There is wifi in the room but it's so slow most times to almost be un-useable. We asked for a nonsmoking room and maybe it is now but the carpet had cigarette burns in it and the carpet was […] also worn and had tears. The bathroom was nice and the staff tries to be attentive but there are better places to stay. Food is overpriced and average in quality for this area. Ordered a hamburger, took an hour to get and was probably the worst thing I ate on my whole Philippines trip. Avoid this hotel expect for convenience to the airport. Pročitajte više

The condition and service level are not to the standard that would be expected.

With a shopping mall near the hotel would be perfect. Hotel guests would have more excess and leisure time while staying at Waterfront Airport Hotel.

After arrival at airport and a short phone to Waterfront Hotel, I could go straight out to a smiling Waterfront Porter June waiting with the car to bring me to the hotel. The luggage was taken well care of and check in as well. It was a fantastic feeling to see all the recognizing smiling faces of all the staff. After I have visit there a few times now, we have found the hotel and staff to be really fantastic in all and everything. Very service minded and caring. They are correct, quick and efficient and still maintain the feeling of personal service. It is not a new hotel, but still the facilities are well maintained and gives a feeling of balance and harmony in a great hotel with pulsing from guests coming and going at all time of the day. Very Nice Hotel. They charge a surcharge if you bring food into the Hotel from any place... Pizza Hut, etc. Suits are very large but you need to be selective because some smell of mold. No motorbike rentals here and a car will cost you very much.

This was the best hotel we stayed at of all the hotels that we stayed at in the PI and it was not the most expensive. It is VERY close to the airport. The breakfast buffet was huge. I just wished there were more hotels like it in the areas we spent more time in.

I can not overstate the pleaseure we had at staying at this hotel. The only 'drawback' was that it is not close to 'downtown' Cebu. Not a problem for me but for 'lady shoppers' it is a little out of the way.

I say almost perfect if the free buffet breakfast was actually free. I was charged for my buffet breakfast!

As I stay in hotels 200+ nts/yr its rare to have a 1st. However when my friends arrived w/3 pizzas a hotel staff member insisted on a 150p/pizza "corkage" fee even tho we were going to consume pizzas in my room and did not request any set ups or special assistance. Found this quite disappointing.

I enjoyed my stay at the Waterfront with a few exceptions. While the staff was friendly and courteous, ROOM SERVICE was horrible. Ordering ice for the room took 2 calls and over an hour wait. I made the mistake of ordering a pizza from room service one night ... 2 phone calls and 2 hours later the pizza was delivered "cold". This is good, clean hotel, 100 feet from airport. Older property, but adequately maintained. I would recommend against room service, and in hotel food generally. Food wasn't very tasty and generally of mediocre quality and preparation.

This is a fantastic hotel/casino location, and the staff are all so very pleasant there, so I would definately reccommend this hotel to anyone, because its safe and very comfortable, and its not expensive either!

the hotel is in a state of neglect, the rugs in the halls are threadbare, the pool was never open, the staff said, "they are doing maintenence work on the pool" but on all 3 days, I never saw one person doing anything on the pool.

For late arrivals and departures this hotel is good. Just walk to terminal in 5 min or less. Good b'fast. Free wi-fi in lobby. Airport noise not bad. 10 min taxi to shopping and restaurants could be walkable but traffic would be hazardous. Pleasant pool & staff were also good.

could not let water out of bath tub. Curtain need sto be replaced. Pool not in service was closed for maintenance until October 15, 2010.

Stayed overnight and the staff made my short stay comfortable. The free shuttle to the airport was a bonus.

This was my second stay at The Waterfront and I was totally satisfied with my experiance both times. The rooms are comfortable, the service is friendly with a smile and the buffet in the hotel restaurant is delicious at a very affordable price. I especially enjoy the work-out room, the pool and the casino attached next door.

I could not believe the beauty, the comfort, the design of this hotel! It was the best place I ever stayed. And don’t let the fact that the airport is 100mtrs away dismay you, I never heard not even 1 airplane arrive or leave and I was on the airport side, sound proofing I can only assume. I was able to arrange Island hopping tour and diving excursions with hotel and was happy to see a familiar face from the staff there, on his day off, to make sure all went well (he is a diver too). I never made it to the jet skis though, next time. I accidentally forgot/left my laptop in the trunk of the taxi I took there. Was sure/positive it was long gone… BUT the staff keeps excellent records of all traffic in and out of the hotel they made the magic happen and my bag was returned to me later that day with all its contents in tact. I love good food… that being said, I think I ate outside of the hotel TWICE or maybe 3 times my whole stay. Their chief is excellent every meal prepared was more than my taste buds deserved, and their buffets a veritable cornucopia of delights and tastes, made with the same zeal and excellence as if the feast was prepared for you alone. I cannot say enough about the staff, the room, and never enough about the dining experience. I came from 15 hour flight and i ended up waiting 2 hours and 10 minutes at the hotel's reception even if i already have my reservation.And the Receptionist always gave me the same answer that they are still cleaning the room! (for 2 hours?)Who would believe in that?And didnt even apologize for the inconvenience caused!

Vill man bo bra och nära flygplatsen, bättre än så här blir det inte. Bra buffé på restaurang Uno för 700 pesos, låter kanske mycket, men du får allt du behöver i magen

주로 출장을 위해 이용하는데 완벽하진 않지만 넓고 조식무료제공, 수영장, 사우나, 카지노를 갖춘호텔이고 5분거리에 한국식당과 분식점, 수퍼마켓, 로컬레스토랑이 있어 비지니스출장이나 자유여행에 적당 날이갈수록 점점 한국사람들 점령을 하고 있네요

생각보다 깨끗하고 서비스도 좋았지만 너무 오래된 호텔이라서그런지 화장실 변기 물이 올라와야한다고 해야하나.. 물을 내리고 나면, 하수구 냄새나는 물들이 질질 셌어요. 그 외에는 카지노도 재미 있었구 뷔페도 괜찮았구요^^
