very clean and the location was perfect. The only thing is they didn't know much English but you can get by with other guests or workers translating for you

I would recommend this hotel. I felt incredibly safe and secure. Any women travellling alone would find this perfect. 1 key to enter building on the 3rd floor in a lift, a key to open apartment and then another key to open my room. It was like Fort Knox! A choice of cereal, fresh milk, orange juice, coffee, croissants, butter, jam, selection of cakes, ham, cheese, boiled eggs and a large variety of fresh fruit. Bread was also available if you fancied toast. The staff were very friendly, providing a map upon arrival and advice on what to see in the city. Very nice room in central location, BUT this is not a B&B, it's more like an aparthotel with limited facilities. Staff are particularly rude and tried to suggest that we needed to pay by cash and then overcharged when we needed to pay by credit card. They charged 2euro above that quoted on our booking for the room. The set up is very eccentric with […] no permanent staff on site, shared bathrooms and the breakfast is self-service, couldn't work the coffee machine, and no wifi even though it was advertised. On arrival no sign of staff and were slow to pick up phone numbers on doorway. Let in by two American girls who told us horror stories of place. They too had been overcharged, by much more than us. The Filarmonico is a lovely little hotel/B&B in a perfect location just yards from the Piazza Bra. We have stayed there twice in the past year, but I doubt that we will return. The reason is the inadequate electrical system. The first time we were there, the power failed just as we were preparing breakfast in the do-in-yourself breakfast room. Fortunately, […] power was restored quickly. The second time, however, the powere failed in the early evening, when the outside temperature was over 95 degrees Fahrenheit. As there was no employee on duty in the hotel, it took several phone calls and a 30-minute wait before someone finally came and got the electricity (and thus the AC) back on. When he left, the power lasted about 15 minutes before going out again. A guest had watched the employee resore the power the first time and was able to get back on, but failed five times during the night. The only way to keep the power on was for the AC to be turned off in all the guest rooms, making sleep essentially impossible. I suspect this is the fault of the power company more than the hotel, but it does mean that we would not return there again in hot weather. Excellent location for Arena (Bra square) and the town centre. Difficult to find the first time - just a room in one of the flats in similar looking houses. Since the caretaker does not speak english, it helps to speak Italian or wait for the cleaner (she does). Get in for breakfast early before some family gannets finish the ham. Excellent location with supermarket a few steps away and the main plaza and Arena just round the corner. Hotel is a little different as the "hotel" is an apartment in a building converted to 4 or 5 rooms with two bathrooms that are shared and a kitchen for the continetal self service breakfast. Landlady lives in a separate building a few doors down […] the street so need to locate her first to get the keys. This was a nice building and our room was comfortable, but people need to be aware that you are sharing the bathroom. The office for the B & B is right down the street from where we actually stayed, and was a little hard to find the only sign was on the call box. The building our room was in was nice, but the elevator did not work. It was an apt type […] set up with 4 other rooms and two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bath). We didn't really feel like it was much of a B & B though when once the proprietor gave us our key, we did not see her again. The breakfast was nothing special and we served ourselves. This hotel is realy close to the city centre (about 2 minutes walk). It is very clean, you can find some restaurants around and supermarket downstairs. Breakfast was realy tasty, room was very clean and tidy, and the owner (speaks italian and a little bit english, but you can communicate without any problems) is realy kind. The carpark is close and […] cheap (12 euro/24h). I'll recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. We were in Verona on Valentines Day and almost all entries were for free. Ok. Wij waren eind sep. het weer was goed ca. 30 gr. 's avonds wat gehorig. Met ramen dicht geen probleem. Alleeen geen airco op de kamer.

B&B bien situado, cerca de la Arena y los lugares de interés. Habitación muy grande y confortable, con una decoración muy cuidada en toda la casa en general. Hay dos baños, amplios y muy limpios, así que no es ningún problema compartirlos. La señora de la casa es muy agradable y, aunque no habla inglés, entiende algo para poder comunicarte. Filarmonico B&B ligger få 100m fra den gamle byport i Verona og er tæt på alle de vigtige seværdigheder. Vi er en familie på 4 og havde et stort værelse med plads nok til os alle. Høj standard og rengøringen var i top. Vi havde lidt svært ved at finde den rigtige lejlighed da der ikke stod navn på etage døren. Der er dog et messing skilt og et samtale […] anlæg ved hoveddøren. Filarmonico ligger på 5. sal op af en bred marmor trappe. (Der er også elevator). Der var en hyggelig spisestue, hvor der blev serveret en udmærket morgenmad.
