Residenza Navona First - Rim

THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE DISGUSTING HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED.

I stayed at First Navona located at Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Perfect location in a beautiful and charming area. Only 15 min to Vatican, 5 min to Piazza Navona, 1 min to Campo di Fiori. Many restaurants and small shops in the neighbourhood. Bus 64 from Termini to Vatican. Nice room, good beds, TV, fridge, free wireless. I can highly recommend this hotel, […] BUT with the warning that the rooms are NOT soundproof. No problem with noice from the street (good windows) but a lot of noice from reception (phone calls, door bell, other guests) during service hours (0900-2030). Dette er et topp sted for dem som vil ha nærhet til alt !Enkelt og greit - heller det enn å bo langt fra severdighetene, og ikke minst ; masse spisesteder på kveldstid - alt i gangavstand. Hotell i 4. etasje - mener jeg - uten betjening. Kun noen som tok imot da vi kom, taxi rett utenfor, spsiesteder over alt.

Ya lo conocia de otras ocasiones. Es perfecto para ir a todas partes sin necesidad de trasporte. A dos pasos de los lugares más importantes. Habitaciones modernas, bien decoradas y funcionales. Buena atención y buen precio. En definitiva recomendable para pasar unos días en esta maravillosa ciudad.

Lo mejor de todo su ubicación, 1 minuto de la Piazza del Campo de Fiori y 3 minutos de la Piazza Navona. La entrada al B&B asusta al llegar, pero las habitaciones muy buenas y limpias, el trato excelente.

We got the worst room the first night. We complained, and the day after we got a better room with view, really nice. I could give a low score for the first room, and top score for the other. So, in the quest for money, the owner rent out a room that never should be in use. And even the other rooms are ok, You will never know which room you get. And this terrible room will destroy your stay and holiday in Rome. I tell this as a warning. The breakfast is a joke. It would be honest to tell on the web-site as it is. A self-service breakfast you have to eat in the room. The choice is between corn-flakes, toast with marmelade or different kind of cakes. But of course, You can buy brekfast just outside at Campo de Fiori. So this is not a problem. For Scandinavian users I will recommend to bring som Wasa parcels or müsli. The good thing is that when you are on the street outside, You are in the middle of Rome. So we used no money on buses and taxis. And short way home after shopping. Conlusion is: If the owner take out shis room as mentioned, The hotel will be a good place to stay. It's the difference between heaven and hell. We were provided with excellent service from the B&B caretaker Nadia from the moment we booked. The B&B is absolutely in the middle of everything with a short walk to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona and restaurants, cafes and shops just around the corner.
