San Marco City Resort And Spa - Verona

Location is outside city center where the tourist sites restaurants and shopping is located but within 20 to 30 minute walk from most. The surrounding area has very little. Its a 15 minute walk from the train station No complaints otherwise.

The San Marco City Resort and Spa is a nice and clean hotel. The location is not at all convenient and it's within walking distance of anything. The hotel itself is nice, but the pictures are misleading. The picture of what looks like a quaint entrance is not the main entrance to the hotel or the lobby. The pool area is nice as well as the patio, the […] restaurant and the breakfast room. The restaurant on the property had a nice menu, but unfortunately did not execute it well and it was very expensive. I would deem it mediocre at best. The breakfast however, was the BEST breakfast I've had at a European hotel. Very clean and very high quality. The room was large and the furnishing were very clean and modern. The bathroom however was ridiculously small (It rivals a cruise ship bathroom). And the stand up shower left little to be desired. Overall a nice hotel . .. the opera shuttle was very convenient, but if I were to return to Verona I would not stay there as it's not close to anything. Pročitajte više

Prima verzorgd hotel. Verbleven in een gerenoveerde zeer schone kamer. Hotel ligt op loopafstand van de Arena en het centrum van Verona. Het hotel heeft gedurende het 'opera seizoen' een busshuttle naar de Arena. Vertrek op meerdere tijdstippen mogelijk. Ook kaarten voor het bijwonen van de opera's aan de hotelreceptie te verkrijgen. Ook na afloop van […] de opera uitvoering is er een busshuttle die door het hotel wordt geregeld. De tijd tussen het einde van de opera uitvoering en het vertrek van de shuttle bus terug na het hotel is helaas te kort. Mycket serviceminded personal, fin frukost och pool. Spa finns om man är sugen på det, bodde i den gamla delen i ett romantiskt rum med bubbelbad...fantastiskt fint och trevligt! Hotellet ligger på promenadavstånd till centrum, har fri busstransport till Operafestivalen under sommarmånaderna. Vi är jättenöjda. Un peu excentré mais pas à plus de 15 minutes du centre à pied. Qui plus est, mise à dispo de navettes gratuites en fin de journée pour assister à l'opéra dans les arènes de Vérone; idem au retour. Par contre, louer 2 euros les serviettes pour la piscine (dix mètres environ) est de mauvais gout; idem les 15 euros demandé pour le sauna. The advantage if you stay here in summer is that it has an outdoor pool which is unusual for a hotel so close to the city. The surrounding area is a bit boring, but on the opposite side of the street from the hotel, there is a lovely osteria. Food is excellent as well as service and price. Very clean and neat hotel, friendly, polite and effective staff. Since we were there in the end of July, we really appriciated the working aircon and the pool.
