Our room was clean and the hotel was close to shopping and dinning. Unfortunately, we will not return as the walls were paper thin and we could hear goings on all night long. "Shopping trip to Rochester (Victor)"
The heating in the room uses a forced air electric heater that makes noise during the night. There is no "low speed" so, each time it starts some people may wake-up. A nice touch is the "clean remote" of the TV, which is very clean and eliminates a health hazard. The breakfast was good an the buffet very clean and well kept. Very clean towells and bathroom. […] Daily room cleaning was excellent. Excellent reception service at check-in and fast check-out. Lots of parking in well lit area,in front of the hotel. Overall, the stay was very pleasant. The breakfasts were enjoyable and well stocked. The pool was clean and open at accomodating hours. The only issue was with the height of the bed! It is very difficult for the aging, or physically challenged to "hop up" onto the beds, and have to sit on the edge with your feet off the floor. Walls are a bit too thin. Heard bratty kids running up and down the hall the first night. The second night, I had to put in ear plugs to cover up the sound of ladies chatting next door. Slept better. ALRIGHT, now that the complaints are out of the way, I can say that this is a very nice place to stay. The hotel would have been ok, if they didn't give away our 2 of our 3 non smoking rooms. These days..who the heck still has smoking rooms in their hotel???
