Exceeded expectations. Room was enormous, spotlessly clean and bed was extremely comfortable. If I would change one thing it would be to provide free tv in rooms. Having to subscribe for it along with internet seems rather strange given the high standard of the hotel in general.

Easy access from airport; near attractive park and museums east of city of center; handy metro access. A classy, friendly boutique-like hotel from Holiday Inn chain. Breakfast was pricey but optional and did look good. Shower head on side of tub wall instead of end was a bit cramped but no big deal at all, just constructive feedback.

quiet nice hotel. there is not a lot to do around the hotel, but the center is only 20 min walk. There is a bus 12 or 21 from the airport straight to the hotel, recommended.

Very nice hotel, not too far from the Metro. The staff were great and allowed us to keep our luggage in the lobby once we checked out for a later departure time. Completely untrained staff. Very unhelpful and unpleasant. Not a single smile out of a single staff member during me stay. Check out at eleven o'clock and "YOU MUST MAKE AND APPOINTMENT" as the rude staff member said on the phone as she woke me up at 10:45 a.m. on a monday morning after arriving back at the hotel at 5am. Never going back there.

Not the size of US rooms. A very good & helpful staff for directions and information. Good breakfast but high for US standards. City tax should have been less and could have effected my choice.

The receptionist was very helpful. She printed out google maps for me and took time to help me with directions. Also they allowed me early check-in and late check-out. Can't ask for more. Very good service.

Great hotel in a great location, close to the Metro, Leopold and Jubilee Parks. We stayed for three nights on a room only basis, so can't comment on the breakfast, but the staff were really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. The hotel was very good, although I didn't eat there - 16 Euros for a breakfast seems rather expensive to me! The hotel is easy to find - only a short walk from the nearest Metro station. We were very satisfied with our choice of hotel, especially location and amenities. However, being Holiday Inn, we expected more cleanliness. For example, I noticed that shower was rarely cleaned and I had to clean the haidryer, shelves, etc with antibacterial wipes. The hotels is very close to the metro which was nice but they only offer breakfast, the bar is very small--its actually just a beer or wine poured by the fron desk staff and the hotel was loud! I was awaken three times to mechanical sounds....not a bad fit overall for the price and the location to the metro.

Despite the distance from the city center, ee decided on this hotel because of the large family rooms. In that respect the hotel lived up to our expectations. The hotel is also convenient if you are visiting the EU offices.

The hotel was very good, located in a calm back street, easy to find and is within walking distance of Metro at Schuman and many EU premises. Nice park nearby. Comfortable but rather small rooms, recently decorated and in excellent condition, bathrooms very nice! Location very convenient for EC. Very comfortable. But get your breakfast in one of the many cafes nearby as they charge 22 euros for the privalege and don't advertise the fact. Doesn't leave one with a good impression.

In European district, so need to take metro to get to main sights. Breakfast prices were ridiculously high! very clean, comfortable. Had a tub :)

Very easy to find if using bus or train from the airport. Clean, Friendly, Pleasant hotel which is close to central Brussels. Don't have any gripes really - same level of comfort as any Holiday Inn across the UK.

Great Location. This hotel is close to Airport Bus Service and the Schuman Metro Stop. Grocery store and restaurants at a small square within 5 minutes walking. We stayed 4 nights and used it to visit Brussels, Bruges, and Amsterdam. Great location to travel from and the bus to and from the airport is 3 euros and 30 minutes with the stop two blocks […] away. Unfortunately, we would leave at 6am and come back at 9 or 10pm and would find that our room had not been cleaned properly. Not vacuumed, desk not wiped down, trash not taken out. Coffee fixings never replaced even after we specifically requested. We didn't mind the first time, but it became irksome and we ended up buying Nescafe instant coffee and giving up on expecting the room to be clean when we returned each night. Room was excellent in terms of comfort and cleanliness. No English channel on the TV except for a programme focussed on Russian News. Slightly bizarre and probably the result of an EU grant. Shower was bit cold and breakfast was pricey but the leathery bacon, micro-bangers and lumpy eggs were as good as any you can find in Brussels. Funded no doubt […] by another EU grant, someone decided to dig up the road at the crack of sparrows. But that's Brussels for you. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. Breakfast was ok. The main problems were : the elevators were painfully slow and it took forever to get in and out of the rooms. The TV in the room did not work, and the staff did not respond promptly to this. The bathrooms did not contain the usual bath soap and shampoo provided at most hotels.

Good clean hotel, near Schumann Metro. Booked a family room and they gave us 2 adjoining rooms at the same price. Good breakfast. Free parking on street outside at weekends. Public transport in Brussells excellent. Road system stessful, we will travel by Eurostar next time.

We were in Brussels on a family vacation with two young boys for 4 nights. The hotel overall was nice. Good service, was clean and modern. The breakfast was decent and the room set up with a pull out couch worked well for our family. Only complaint is that the location of the hotel is a bit away from the main sites of Brussels. Not a big deal because […] its a two minute walk to the metro from the hotel, but still not a place you can walk out of and stroll to the Grand Place or other main attractions downtown. In fact, the neighborhood around the hotel is basically dead after 8:00 PM as it mainly caters to the EU parliment offices around it. This was actually welcome by us because it allowed us to go to bed with the kids at 9:00 and not worry about nightlife noises keeping them up. My only real complaint is the lack of free or reasonably priced internet. You can get Wi-Fi in your room for 12.99 Euro a day, which seems pretty high----especially since "a day" is until midnight, not 24 hours. The 8 Euro bottle of water also seemed excessive, but a helpful employee pointed me to a quaint corner store near the hotel where I was able to buy the same water for 1 Euro. Cutlery and cups are placed on tables during breakfast. Ideally these should be placed next to food on the buffet table as I have noticed that everbody kept looking for the same things next to the food items.
