Hotel was wonderful and employees were great, there just weren't enough employees. The ones that were there were wonderful, but at the front desk two people were needed when only one was there. Only bad situation was that my room kept running out of TP and it was never restocked, otehrwise a great stay.

Used this Hotel for 3 nights on our touring holiday, went to Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg from here. Good big rooms, adjoining as requested with no bother. We enjoyed our stay here. We were visiting Kings Dominion. The hotel is very nicely decorated and the staff was very helpful and courteous. (We needed extra towels, etc.) It would be nice to have a pull out clothesline in the shower to hang up wet swimsuits.

My stay was great, the cleanliness and comfort of the room was unparallelled, the Hotel lobby was very current with technology and furniture. Overall it was just a very great stay. I'd definitely stay there again.

nice place clean well kept only problem was the pool it was green all 4 days of our stay!! also if you want the free coffee you better get out of bed and run down berore 10 am one day i went down at 9:45 and the coffee was taken down. all in all got a great rate @ hotels.com and we had a good time.

Overall I was pleased with this hotel. The decor was nice and the rooms were very clean. I did not give it a 5 star rating because prior to coming I called to reserve a crib for my 1 year old. The lady assured me one would be in the room upon our arrival. When I asked the lady at checkin if it were there she looked and said "No..we only have one and […] someone else is already using it." Without apologizing she said it should have never been guaranteed to me. I would think in a hotel of this size they would have more than one crib. I must say that this was a great hotel, I saw the listing on Hotels . com and it seemed like a wonderful place to stay. I arrived around four, walked in and was able to check in right away! Dale, the manager at the desk was very polite and welcoming. I was even able to pick which floor I wanted and whether or not if I wanted a balcony. The room was […] very spacious and clean, and did not have a funky smell to it.. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of pillows which were also very plump and comfy. The shower was nice, the water was hot as soon as I turned it on and there was plenty of pressure too. The only thing that I did not care for was that there was not a continental breakfast which I knew upon arrival and that the hot tube was not working properly. The hotel was very comfortable. The rooms were huge. The lobby was large with plenty of seating and had a small bar/restaurant. It does not have a "storefront" on Brook Road so it was difficult to find at first. In an area with restaurants, shops and a movie theater. Good for a business trip if business is in Henrico County suburbs of Richmond.

We had booked this stay for a Fri/Sat night at the back end of our Easter vacation with the kids. Our Friday to Friday timeshare elsewhere had led to a checkout earlier that Friday morning. Given that the Richmond Nascar race was going on that weekend we opted to stay in a hotel not too far from the track so we could go to the races on Fri and Sat night. Upon […] checking in on Friday, the staff at the desk was very professional and looked for other rooms with 2 double beds instead of our king/sleeper sofa combo room. They gave us the option of switching for Friday night to a different room but had no other options for Sat so we stayed with current reservations. Hotel was very well maintained, rooms were comfortable, and staff was very well mannered. No trouble with crime nearby as I left my boat and trailer there on Fri and Sat while we hit the track. I had booked two adjoining rooms because there were three of us, and usually a hotel's idea of a queen is a bit overinflated. But not in this case, the beds were true queens and we would have been fine in one room. Because we had the adjoining rooms, I took off my jewelry in one bathroom but ended up showering the next day in the other. As a result […] I left my two crystal necklaces, pearl earrings and a ring on the counter in the other bathroom. We were about three hours away when I realized it (traveling home to N.H.) but the hotel was able to locate the jewelry and they sent it back to me. THANK YOU SO MUCH! There is no real coffee and tea service. For a hotel of this calibre, I would at least expect to be able to get coffee and tea service throughout the day. No continental breakfast, either. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in which is a plus these days. Front desk service was very prompt and friendly. Room was very comfortable and quiet except for the in room fridge which kept making annoying sounds all night. Hotel maintenance needs to keep on top of this. Also, in the room adjacent to mine the alarm clock was beeping […] incessantly during the early morning. Luckily I had to arise early. Obviously, the room was unoccupied and the last guest had not turned the alarm clock off. I figured a medium price Courtyard hotel would be "OK" but I was really impressed when we arrived. This hotel is NEW and rather "upscale" with modern decor. The room was LARGE & well appointed. Cafe in lobby was simple but did the job. Highly recommend.
