Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Good airconditioning. No shower curtain and never got hot water to work but did not need in the heat.No individual soap except a soap dispenser.Beware! WiFi is not free but must be paid for as an extra.

If you are looking a place to sleep and the red light district is not a problem for you, this is a perfect place. MRT station some minutes on foot. much cheaper food than in the downtown.

Old run down hotel, in the middle of the Geylang red light district. The neighborhood has nothing to offer but brothels and street food stalls. There was no hot water in the shower. Internet comes at a surcharge, $10 for 10 hours, but was useless for almost everything. Emails will trickle through, given enough time, but forget about anything web-based. […] This hotel is at the very low end of the price range in Singapore though, so you get what you pay for. It is a cheap place and was not so good. TV was not working properly. Towels were torn.

Completely adequate. Bedding is a bit threadbare but everything is clean. Room is big enough, nice shower. Couple of sports channels on the TV. Location isn't great but not terrible. Around 5min walk to the mrt, buses even nearer. Wifi is not free.

Generally, both bedroom and bathroom were very small, there was no space at for huge personnal luggages. However, it is consider okay for short stay especially for Single who keen to explore in this area. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was fairly clean but sound proofing was poor. So taking a bus is more convenient than MRT to places like Orchard Road, Little India, and China Town. I like the fact that the staff is friendly. Even though the room is small, it is well maintained and serves its purpose. good overall. a bit pricey for what you get, but this seems to be the case with all lodging in singapore. there was a bathmat that smelled terrible and i had to remove that from the room. No other complaints.

Hotel is quite good, but bathroom was not so clean. Wi-fi is not free and was very weak in my room. And it is not free - almost 5 SGD for 2 hours and 25 SGD for 24 hours and it really bad. One good thing that they have good sport channels.

The staff at the Fragrance Hotel were very helpful. The room was fine except that the bed was a bit hard. The only complaint I have is charging for internet access. The hotel was very good value for money, and I will be back.

As the hotel was in the red light district, you naturally feel a little more uncomfortable being there, and the staff constantly laughed and giggled at almost everything we said, making us slightly paranoid about the place. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the MRT, though that walk does involve walking past some ladies of the night and through an area I was happy I was not alone in. The room was pretty depressing with curtains kept closed as they looked out on a wall. I have heard some of the other Fragrance hotels are better.

it was fine. the red light district. if you come with your family you have some explaining to do. otherwise... pretty good location for the metro... not really any places to eat around... that you can go in and be in the AC...overall it was fine... no shower curtian

No frills, but clean. Overlook that it's situated in the red-light district and this hotel delivers great value. It would be even better if the beds weren't covered in naugahyde for more efficient clean-up after the hourly crowd, and if they included top-sheets, but aside from that, there's simply nothing to complain about.

went back to hotel after dinner and take a shower, after which realized that the is not a single towel in the room. quickly called up reception to bring up. took 30 minutes and all the while i am waiting in the freezing room. offered extended 2 hours checkout next morning, but useless for me as i go off in the morning 10am.

OK, for what I needed. a one night stopover between flights. The room was clean but a lot of the fitments were in poor condition. AC worked but the front was damaged. They suppose to offer a complimentary internet but yet they charge alot for it. I stayed in another hotel opposite to this hotel. The hotel name was 81 star. The room rate was the same the services is much better. They offer complementary bottles of water facial tissues and free internet as well as telephone services. The staff was totally unfriendly. There […] was an incident whereby I paid for internet in advance but while I was using the internet it stopped all the sudden and I was kept charged for it. But I was tired so I slept and the next day I asked the front desk to check that the money I paid for internet was not fully used due to internet defects. He checked it our and confirmed that indeed there was a problem which means I was charged for something I am unable to use. I asked him nicely to compensate me for that. Let's summarize : I have been trying to find the cheapest hotel in Singapore, so I've found the best prices in Geyland area....the red district....with prostitutes, poor surrounding the area, smelly, and totally different than the rest of the city. Staff there is great and friendly, but the rest of the hotel is definitely depressing. Is not a good option […] for a long stay...I would say that 2 or 3 night maximum (if you want to save some money and you have another option) PROS: -cheap (you probably won't find a better price) -near a metro station ( 4-5 blocks) so you are connected with the rest of the city... -Air conditioning is GREAT CONS -No bar, no breakfast, no machines for drinks, not laundry, you have nothing there!! -internet is not cheap or included, you have to pay separately...and the signal in the upper levels is not strong at all. -TV is not an option to spare time.... in summary....is just for one night or 2, and for singles only ( don't ever think in go with your girlfriend there! ) Pročitajte više
