"Highly recommended"
The staff I interacted with were all professional and friendly. Overall I had a very comfortable stay. I only had a minor problem with my room which was immediately taken care of when I brought it to the attention of the front desk. My initial room had the smell of smoke. Within 10 seconds of informing them I had another room key. I was very pleased […] that they did not hesitate to make me happy. I needed to check out a bit late because I was there for a running event and wanted to shower prior to getting back on the road. They gave me extra time past check out time which was much appreciated. My only other complaint is that there is no complimentary breakfast. I went to the restaurant in the hotel for breakfast and had the continental breakfast. Although I was disappointed with an extra cost, I was satisfied. The selection of fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, cinnamon buns, juices, and coffee was excellent. They also had the option of made to order breakfast if you paid a bit more. "Close to Mystic, but longer drive from the casinos"
The hotel was nice. We checked in late just to spend the night and were out early after visiting a Casino and Concert. Nice hotel with a friendly staff. Complimentary coffee and fruit all day was a nice touch. Breakfast for my daughter was well worth the kids price and she was served more than I could eat. "so comfy bed!!"
The bed was amazing! "comfortable stay"
We were pleased with our Oct 5th stay all around. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly. The rooms were clean and welcoming. A bonus was the small bar and restaurant in the comfortable lobby! We were able to grab a quick bite and a drink there prior to our engagement the evening we arrived, then afterwards come back to the lobby and relax […] and visit with family over drinks. This hotel is immaculate and comfortable, walking distance to a couple stores and restaurants, but pretty isolated. Front desk personnel were very courteous. Has a pool and jacuzzi. Basically, you need a car to get to New London from the hotel, so don't expect to get anywhere without a car or taxi. I mention this because I took Amtrak into New London, […] hoping to enjoy the town for its local flavor (artsy, seaside, a bit rowdy), but found myself isolated at this hotel. After arriving at the hotel and checking in, which was quick and pleasant, we entered our room and started noticing that the bathroom didn't seem to be clean (mouthwash was half-used, hair in the tub, etc.). One minor nitpick - Access to local highways is confusing, lots of "you can't get there from here", but that's not the hotel's fault. Some roads only allow access and exit from one direction. I was very happy with my stay here. It's ideally located, close to the highway and stores like Walmart and Stop and Shop.
