The best vacation we had in years. Egypt is safe. Egyptians respect their guests. We had no issues going everywhere including Tahrir square. The hotel is beautiful, clean and next to City Stars mall. We spent 2 nights at the Intercontinental Cairo Citystars. It's a great hotel, brilliant failites and is in a great place. Right next to the Citystars shopping complex, ideal place to eat and shop.

The intetcontenintal city star hotel in Cairo is a very comfortable place to stay in, it is located 10 min. from the airport with a huge modern mall within it's vicinity. The services provided by the hotel are marvelous. The only disadvantage it has that the location is far from central Cairo and Gieza.

I've stayed at Intercontinental City Stars on more than 5 occasions this past year, all of them on business. Proximity to the airport; 15mins away, closeness of the Ring Road, to 5th Settlement & Smart Village is ideal. However, this time, I booked the hotel for tourist purposes, and it let me down. The Hotel to central Cairo attractions or Giza Pyramids […] is too far for the traffic (1hr at least one way). The hotel does not have any range of tours, or is very inflexible for arranging tours via its partner AMEX Travel Holidays. On my last day, I did a private tour with their private car & driver, hired for 500 EGP, and covered most sites; Citadel, Mohammad Ali Mosque, Sultan Hasan & Refai Mosques, Giza Pyramids, Cairo Museum. I wanted a tour guide, but the hotel said to me it was nigh on impossible to see more than three items in one day, and that they could not arrange a tour guide as they had fixed iterinaries set with Amex Holidays. Nevertheless, I found guides at every place I visited, although I would have preferred to pay the hotel for this, as it would have saved me hassle haggling with so many guides at each loocation, who acted as a mafiosa, intent on ripping off tourists. Even my driver, whom I thought would be insightful into local do's & don'ts with the sights, I felt ripped me off by taking me to a horse and carriage ride for Giza pyramids, which turned out to be another scam, as the tour was not as it was promised, and it took 50% less time. This was my third stay at this hotel and as expected all services were excellent. All of the staff were very kind, courteous and professional. The hotel has won many awards over the years for its outstanding service and I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Cairo.

Stars are deserved. Rooms are small (by US standards) but clean and well equipped. Main retaurant has good buffet meals. Breakfast is very good, other meals are ok. There are also several other restaurants, including Lebanese (good), Japanese (so so), and Italian (too expensive, did not try). Very good exercise center and pool. Cheerful poolside music […] and drinks. Avoid the so called "pool view" rooms, these are in a completely different small building, would probably rate 3 stars. Last time we stayed at the Marriott Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino which is better located if you are in Cairo for vacation. Pročitajte više

The hotel is well situated, within the City Stars Center. However, the surrounding is crowded with heavy trafic. The hotel is very clean with fantastic relaxation area around the pool. The staff is very friendly . Check-in and check-out very smooth and quick. Would strongly recommend to all .

Our flight from Cairo was cancelled and we stayed at here for a night. The hotel was very nice, modern, wonderful breakfast and next door to the mall. A great way to spend the day instead of at the airport

Very close to airport, opted for the Welcome (limousine) collection from airport which was worth the USD50 for sure. Quality accommodation, very helpful staff especially the receptionists and the waiters in the indoors and outdoor restaurants. Food was good, a little pricy though. A good hotel, but very expencive. 1 hour away from attractions by taxi, if cairo is crowded. But citystars, next door, for those who like shopping. There was some construction work going on at the moment, that was disturbing from 8 in the morning.

Der Spa Bereich könnte Modernisiert werden sonst ein tolles Hotel sehr Zentral. In der executive Lounge ist ein guter Service das Steakhouse Restaurant im Hotel ist sehr empfehlen.
