Room was clean, bathroom contemporary and clean. Staff goes out of their way to make sure you are entertained and satisfied. Food was great and presented nicely, very sanitary. For all inclusive they do not skimp on beverages and have many top shelf brands.

We were disappointed to find out that our reservation was for a garden suite, was actually a 3 minutes golf cart ride from the hotel at the main entrance- which we saw on our way in and said i hope we are not there. So we did what most people do we upgraded. The first room in our upgrade process overlook a run down flea market where you could buy local […] goods...back to front desk. It took me a while to negation a good price - if you go don't except the first price they give you. We also upgraded to the preferred club which is what saved our vacation. For me the bed was sooo hard it was uncomfortable - however my husband had not issues. Our room was always clean- although the air conditioning unit produced a slight musty smell. Bathroom are very big -although our room didn't have a full wall enclosing the bathroom so sounds/smells didn't stay in there (I know TMI). The Jacuzzi on the balcony took a little while to fill up but it was wonderful. Most of the staff at the preferred club were wonderful!! Especially Louis and Elizabeth. The staff at the casino were terrible down right rude. The shows are were so bad - if you have every been on a cruise ship or another high end resort you will be very disappointed in all of it. The food mediocre at best and at worse -- served cold after waiting long periods of time for it to be delivered. It was my boyfriends birthday and we stayed in a Garden View Room- facing the garden view pool. ( I would suggest to request a room facing the pool if you are in the Garden View area). The golf carts to the main buildings and beach were fast and always available. The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant. The food was just ok and the options were not the greatest. Upon arrival, we did not receive the room we requested and were given a bit of push back by the hotel staff. After awhile, they tried to make up for it.

Pool and beach were very nice and clean. The food was subpar no better than the local Golden Corral and the Buffett lacked variety. Bars were constantly running out of drinks, drink supplies and ingredients. If Expedia did not have a one day sale on this resort and we paid the normal price I would have been extremely angry and upset.

Everything was beautiful! Gorgeous beach and pools, all the booze and food anyone could want. The food was decent definitely on par with what you would expect from an all inclusive resort. My biggest issue was simply the service. I understand that its all inclusive and one can't expect the best service in the world, i've been to several similar resorts. […] I've even been to NOWs resort in Cancun and it was wonderful there. I promise I'm not one of those nit picky whiny complainers, but the service really was atrocious. Also I totally get that I'm vacationing in another country but I would expect there to be less of a language barrier at a "four" star resort. Our experience was awful. They put us in the wrong room to begin with. It then took them over 4 hours to fix it. The tv in the room didn't work and even when we called them, it took close to two hours for them to show up to fix that also. Our bathtub had no hot water. Overall we were not impressed.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Went for our honeymoon and they offered some nice complimentary amenities for us. Also we did not upgrade to preferred club daily package and still got some of their perks. Some preferred members found the pools out of their premium beers often.

Overall we had a good experience with this hotel. The first few days were a bit rocky. First before we checked in we requested the top floor and a king size bed. Instead we got put on the 2nd floor and they just put 2 double size beds into one giant bed. Then our phone didn't work, and we walked down to the front desk and told them the phone didn't […] work. They insisted it did and we didn't dial room service right. After, trying again, and walking down to the front desk again, they finally sent someone over to replace the phone. Then the door lock to our room died, however it was quickly fixed. After these few miscues we didn't have another issue. The food at the sit down restaurants were very delicious. I felt the buffet was lacking a bit, and plates seemed to be dirty. The staff was friendly and helpful even if they didn't speak much English they did try there best to help. Beach and pools very fun and relaxing. The beach always had a security guy on patrol. During the evening they always had a show performing, or you could walk to the beach and watch a movie. The entertainment team did a wonderful job of setting up activities throughout the day. The resort has different type of bars that would suite different people well, the night club was fun as well. Good beach. They clean it often. Several places to eat but they all start tasting the same after 10 days. They have a dress code and need to bring formal wear to eat. Recommend upgrading to the other side the adult only... more peaceful and less people at the pool and better food

My husband and I just returned from a 8 night stay and vacation at the Now Larimore Resort and it was a wonderful vacation! The staff was awesome and anything we needed was immediately given to us. Room service was awesome and always there before they said it would be. Language wasn't a huge issue and neither of us speak much Spanish. The only fault we could find was the bed being a bit hard. Also, there is a bit of sea weed on the beach but this isn't the resort's fault. It was still absolutely beautiful. After being to the Dominican six times and staying at six different resorts, this was definitely in our top two! It was an awesome and much needed vacation. I would recommend this resort to anyone! This hotel lists rooms as "Ocean View" that are not ocean view. Apparently if you can strain and see a very spall portion of the ocean through the trees it qualifies as ocean view. I believe this resort is very over-rated for the amount of money spent. The service is below average. To begin with, the staff greeted us with an introduction to promoting the unlimited vacation club we had just checked in, it would have been appropriate to direct or escort us to our room instead we wasted time discussing what the UVC offers. Just spent the week of June 17-24 at this resort for our honeymoon. Pool area was great an beach area was great. Drinks were delivered at both locations. The guys who bugged you to buy excursions outside of the resort were pushy an aggrevating however we did go deep sea fishing with seapro an it was very productive with dolphin. The bed was miserable-rock hard. The TV/remote did not work. Very few staff members knew English. The refrigerator was not cold and it was not restocked everyday like we were told that it would be. The first night we stayed at a deluxe room & the room was okay. There was no wall between the main room & the bathroom that we felt was quite strange. The next day we asked to be upgraded to the preferred club & the room was a lot better. The staff seldom came out to the pools and/or beach to get your drink order. It was a lot faster to just go to the […] bar to get your drink than wait for their staff to come around to you! The other bad experience we had was when we were out all day from an excursion & came back to our room & our room was never cleaned! We tried to contact housekeeping, but there was no answer. We complained to the front desk & they said they were going to send someone to come, but no one came. We told them it was far too late to have our room cleaned at that time, but if they could just bring towels. We didn't get towels until 30 min later. The staff that brought us the towels decided he will at least remove the food we had on our table, but he would leave it on the floor outside of our room for someone to pick up. When we woke up the next day, the food/plates were still outside our room! We called housekeeping to complain again, but no one came until 2 hrs later to finally clean. They also tried to blame us that perhaps we left the "do not disturb" tag on our door or that someone may have placed it there while we were out! The food was not the best as well! I never really expect to see a hotel/resort that looks exactly like the photos online, but this one definitely deviated. At one time it may have looked like the website portrays it, but now it is a bit rundown. The absolute most disappointing aspect of the trip was the food situation. Leading up to the trip I researched the restaurants and saw the different […] requirements for the various restaurants ie casual, casual elegance etc. I scoured the website looking for exact descriptions, but I couldn't find any. I googled general descriptions and brought what I thought would be appropriate. This was not the case. We were forced to eat at the buffet the entire time because I brought sleeveless sundressed and my boyfriend didn't have closed toed shoes. The buffet had plenty of selection, but it was very hard to get a drink provided and we also found most of the food to be really dry from sitting under the heating element. We didn't starve, but I really would have like more options. Another inconvenience related to food is the meal timing. I really wish they would have offered snacks at the bars or something different at the beachside dining area. The towels are bleached in spots and stained and generally in poor condition. It was very difficult to get the bartenders to acknowledge us and give us a drink. There was no rhyme or reason for who they served first or last. The housekeeper didn't even clean our room on the day before we left. No towels, garbage, linens etc. Pročitajte više
