Having stayed at various (albeit much lower star rated) hotels in a trip which took us to numerous resorts in Thailand, this was the most comfortable bed and room we encountered. Service was great, breakfast was amazing and overall we were treated fantastically well by staff. Unfortunately its well out of the way of most sights and the neighbourhood […] doesn't offer anything of interest to the traveler - not that we found. As we were finishing our holiday in Bangkok a more convenient location would have suited us better. A great business hotel I guess, or a transition stop over. We had a wonderful stay at the Pullman. How comfortable and friendly it was ! The staff couldn't be more helpful and the staff on the executive floor went beyond expectations to provide us with information and assistance. To all of them, my husband and I say thank you !

Good hotel and good price. Room is good but location is a little off. Hotel does provide transport to train station but commuting from hotel is not perfectly convenient indeed. Above average.

Excellent stay. Bed was not very soft but after the first night we asked for softer beds and they put a pad on the bed that helped alot. The services were great, people very friendly and accomodating, close to BTS and very easy to get around the city from there. Loved it!

My wife and I have stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Feb this year. We found the hotel comfortable, clean and quiet. NIce swimming pool and good location. There are malls and restuarants nearby. My wife enjoyed the nice Japanese food very much from the shop just situates at the oppoiste side of the hotel. Just returned from Bangkok spending 5 nights at the Splendid Pullman King Power Hotel. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Victory Monument Skytrain Station. However, there is a spot in front of the movie theaters where if you are lucky you can catch the Hotel Tuk Tuk that will take you back to the hotel. In one of the previous reviews there was […] some mention of taking the Airport Rail Link to Phya Thai Station and then a quick walk to the hotel. In my opinion that’s not so easy as the walk from that station will be quite troublesome especially if you take into account Bangkok pavements while dragging luggage. And please note, the Hotel Tuk Tuk only goes to Victory Monument BTS and not Phya Thai Station. Check In was swift and efficient. Then reception asks you to sit down and enjoy a complimentary drink while they get the paperwork ready. We received a coupon of 700 bahts which we could apply to any meals at any of the restaurants as well as a couple of discount coupons to the King Power Duty Free mall which was located adjacent to the hotel itself. We did eventually use the 700 bahts but didn’t find anything worth buying at the Duty Free. I felt t was all quite a tourist trap personally. Our room was 522 in the Garden Wing. The room was spacious, well lit, typical Bangkok style – chic, modern and comfortable. The bath room was also very nice, however the sliding doors did take time to get used to. I am used to locking the bathroom door so the lack of any locking device was unsettling. Bathroom had both a shower equipped with both a wonderful rainforest shower as well as the standard shower. Pressure was fantastic. There was also a bathtub though we never had the time to use it. Bathroom toiletries were of very good quality – I particularly loved the body lotion. Beds were comfortable and a there was a very handy bed side table lamp that allowed me to do some readying without disturbing my wife. Excecutive Room. Nice and Clean. Serivce level is excellent. English communication is a little bit of a probelm but manageable. Overall a super njice hotel. Especially the executive club service. Totally recommended.

This is a hotel attached to an intown Duty Free shopping centre. This means noisy tour groups of shopaholics, and a generally 'for the masses' approach to things. Additionally, because its revenue seems thereby guaranteed and the hotel is run quite economically (it is owned by Accor), corners are cut. Eg, the breakfast buffet is a range of tasteless […] dishes, a call for a housekeeping item does not get any response until you call twice (this happened more than once during my stay), the lobby is grand but infested by mosquitoes. The interior design is also a disappointment. When one first sees the lobby, one might be impressed by its spaciousness, but it doesn't take long (perhaps daylight?) to realise that the investment in design is merely superficial. In a country that is a major producer of wooden goods, Accor have decided to make use of a veneer on the interior woodwork that is sufficiently cheap as to already be scuffed everywhere. The sliding doors of the wardrobe / cabinet may be cool at first, but wobble and the "art" decorating the rooms is highly dubious. Food ordered in the room or had anywhere in the building is more expensive than at the Mandarin Oriental and matches the breakfast in quality (see above). Good value for money, this is what you'd expect of an international 4 star built in the last few years. It's location isn't the greatest - there is little within walking distance compared with some other parts of the city (and don't be distracted by the disappointing duty-free mall next door), the hotel itself cannot be faulted.

Great Hotel & Staff. My partner and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. Bed was very comfortable, staff helpful and friendly, breakfast was delicious and pool was stunning. We enjoyed our stay at Pullman. It was an excellent property with nice view, great pool and well-equipped gym. When comes to service wise, it is really a big BUT. We booked our stay at Pullman without complimentary breakfast. We decided to have our breakfast there as the spread was really good. The staff was kind enough to inform us that our stay does […] not include complimentary breakfast. Not long after we had our second servings of food, another waitress came over to inform us of the same thing. WE GET YOUR POINT. They did that again on the second day. And this upset me. They ought to know when and what to say at different occasion. Definitely not when we are having our delicious breakfast. That really dampened our stay in Pullman. We stayed 3 nights at the Pullman Bangkok with our two small children (2-year-old + 4-month-old) and it was a great experience and very good value. The service and hospitality of the staff was excellent, and the rooms very nice (especially the bathrooms). The buffet restaurant was very good and great with small children also. Outstanding hotel. All services were top - room very nice, one of the best breakfast buffets in my round the world trip. The location was not the greatest but taxis are so inexpensive in Bangkok that the location was not a concern.
