"Very Unsatisfied"
We booked into this hotel because we were there for a funeral and this location seemed to be the most convenient. We are from out of town and didn't know anything about the area. When we registered we asked where we could have breakfast since that was included and the clerk pointed to a tiny table in his office with a dirty oilcloth table and said..."Right […] here, you can have coffee...juice."Also, we were told we would have two adjoining rooms and then were told they don't have any. It all just didn't seem appropriate but we continued to the 3rd level where our room was. I was with my two teen-age granddaughters so I was extra careful of where we should stay. The bed linen seemed to be clean enough but when I checked the bathroom, it had several hairs in the bathtub and around it. I immediately went to the office and said we could not stay there and I named the reasons. We then drove around til we found another hotel that would take us but was much farther away from our location where we needed to be. "Overrated"
The remote control did not work in our room and the breakfast was hardly a breakfast at all. We were wanting to get an early start but the breakfast was not available until 7am. It consisted of cherry or cinnamon packaged pastries and juice or coffee. They did have small packages of cereal but they had no milk. Will not return or refer this hotel to […] anyone. "overpriced"
I was not happy with room when I first arrived o found doorknob to bathroom was broken and loose. This was fixed in a shorttime after notifing manager. The TV was not getting good reception even though manager tried. Their was no towelbar for sink area. "Noisy Room"
The room and overall hotel was great. However, if you have a room around the middle of the 3rd floor, there is a noise of some machinery going on and off that makes it very difficult to sleep at night. "Bad News"
I spent 5 nights at this place. At first glance the room appeared clean and smelled clean. As my first evening progressed I found that the bedding had been slept on and not changed. I slept on the other side of the bed that night but left a note for housekeeping along with a tip and asked that the bedding be changed and the room kept clean. The rest […] of my stay found the carpets NEVER vacuumed, the floors NEVER cleaned and the bed was NEVER made much less the bedding changed. I was glad to leave and I will never stay there agian. I stay in Whittier often, but decided to stay at the Lambert for a change. Will not stay again for a number of reasons: 1. the bed was very uncomfortable, 2. the bathroom was clean but small, 3. although there was a dead bolt on the door, it could not be locked while away and the knob was nothing more than a privacy lock.Autentične Expedia recenzije gostiju

If you can afford to stay anywhere else, do so. Beds were terrible. The mattress springs could be felt as soon as you sit on the bed. "Nice little get-a-way"
This little hotel is a bit off the beaten path, but that makes it all the more worth the travel. If you just want to get away for a night, this is a nice place to go. Other reviews online are VERY misleading. I'll give it to you straight. The place is kind of in the ghetto. The sheets had stains and were not fitted so they slide everywhere. The room was OK. Nothing special, but nicely affordable for southern CA. The owners/managers were WONDERFUL! They even welcomed my unexpected roommate (another conference goer who was hurt and couldn't drive home each night) and were willing to fix whatever needed fixing (burned-out light bulb, e.g.). The things I liked best about Lambert Inn: It was […] located very near a conference I was attending at Whittier College; and it was a small eccentric place. Things I liked least (To be clear, *I didn't complain about any of those things*): Room door relied on regular locks instead of key cards. The person who made up my room apparently didn't have a key to use in the deadbolt and so just used the flimsy key lock after straightening up. As a result, I felt my things in the room were less than secure. Second, I've never stayed in a hotel before that charged for ice. Third, the bathtub didn't appear to be clean when I arrived (hair in the bottom and sides of the tub) and wasn't cleaned any of the days I was there. Fourth: The ice machine required money. Finally, the bed was harder than I like (I have a bad back), and top sheets appeared to be Queen-size so didn't comfortably fit the king bed in my room once my roommate joined me. I could have discussed these things with management, but I was very busy and didn't spend much time in my room. When I was present, I was too tired to take action.
