We stayed here for 4 nights. The service was excellent. From the time we checked in to the check out, staff was very kind and attentive. Activities were fun. Nice pools and excellent small beach. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed at room 1049 on the 11th floor. Awesome views of the ocean and pools.

The mean buffet was a hit and miss but over all the food was good. The seafood and Italian, and isuhsi resturants were great. Or favorite was the Happy Chicken bar and grill. If you want to book a trip or go somewhere fun while you're there go across the street to the activity guy Alberto he is a lot cheaper then the resort vendor and he is also very helpful if you have any questions or need to make change for your money. Three times on two different days in the morning they we called room service and the coffee and juice never arrived. Most of the time the phone would just ring and ring. And the employees at the front desk seemed very confused and would leave you standing not knowing if you question was being aswered or not.

Our room was not ready on time. Did not have all the amenities in room as expected. Yes it does have a safe but the lock for the safe costs $5:00 a day. Did not have a full length mirror in room or bathrobes. Room was warm, could not adjust air conditioning. Toiletries and coffee were not replenished. You had to call to get what you wanted. This was a nice enough hotel for the money. I liked the fact that there was no carpet, not even in the rooms. It made the whole hotel seem cleaner. The staff was constantly cleaning the hotel the whole time I was there. Although I am not a coffee drinker, there was no coffee pot in the room and I found that strange since most places have them. And […] no place to obtain coffee if you get up early like myself. I paid for a massage, but was not impressed with the service. It was not as private, as I was confronted by a male (I'm female) as I was coming out of the shower. Be wary of this if you get a full body exfoliation. The staff were nice and most spoke English. I did not like the food at all. But others did. I guess it is a matter of taste. The mixers they use for mixed drinks are pre-made and didn't taste right to me. So I was happy that I liked the beer. Being in the Grand category is a plus. So be sure to book that if you choose this hotel. Private beach and unlimited meals at the nicer eating establishments. Our stay started out with some trouble at Check In which was a nightmare. Total chaos would be the best way to describe it with dozens of people in line, confused and half panicking. After two hours, we finally got to our room. The drinks are watered down. The food is by far the worst I've had at any all inclusive. I'm pretty sure the beef they serve […] (assuming it is beef) would be turned away at a North Korean labor camp. I will say, the only two things we found tolerable there was the Happy Chicken (by the pool) chicken nuggets/fries and the Las Palmas breakfast. Our room smelled almost like urine, although, i'm pretty sure that is just the smell which results from mold/mildew reaching an extreme severity. Luckily the windows opened so we were able to just keep the outside air coming in to make it tolerable. This was a nice hotel. We booked this last minute on Hotels.com and had to choose among 4 available hotels for the weekend. We were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly (though slow) and the all-inclusive option gave us freedom to order whatever, whenever we wanted. Beware of 'adults only' though as this only applies to the Grand area on the […] eastern side of the hotel. The rest of the Oasis allows kids so you'll see a few running around. That wasn't a big deal to us but if it is to you, please consider that. Jet skis can be rented a bit down the beach for about half the price from the guys in front of the hotel (ironically, in front of the Grand area). Just returned from our Christmas stay (five nights, six days) at Grand Oasis Viva. Overall, we had a wonderful stay - family of six, four young adults and parents. The friendly and helpful hotel staff worked diligently to make everything pleasant. Staff were constantly cleaning and sweeping; the bar service worked tirelessly. Food was plentiful and […] well-prepared - Dos Lunas and the sushi bar were big hits! The beach was beautiful, the two pools spotless, and the weather was great as well. Downside: we stayed in two rooms and had a problem in each: in one room, a pipe burst underneath the sink, water everywhere, and luckily, we were in the room at the time and able to get the water line turned off - good thinking on my daughter's part! Staff did respond quickly to our emergency call, and housekeeping cleaned up the mess immediately. Second problem - a few of the floor tiles were cracked in the other room, and continued to worsen as we walked on them. We reported that problem to the front desk, and there were no repercussions, just inconvenience, trying not to walk on a small part of the room. Both of these problems should be addressed BEFORE assigning rooms, in my opinion. Might be hard to account for the water pipe, but the floor tiles were in clear sight. If you are looking for a reasonably-priced, all inclusive Cancun vacation, this is the place! Much more intimate than one of the "giants" on the beach. Pročitajte više

We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, it was amazing. The grounds are excellent, the staff was overall super friendly and approachable. We will most definitely recommend this hotel, and would recommend getting the "grand" category! Bring a lot of $1 singles and make sure to tip (not necessary)!

For the most part we enjoyed our stay here. We stayed on the 11th floor (top floor) of the Grand and the a/c did not cool the rooms on this floor. We met people that stayed on the 7th floor that said their rooms were freezing. The food was good and we enjoyed the restaurants. The coconut ice cream is to die for!!!

The only bad thing about the hotel was that the food was not very authentic. Thier was very good sushi and the breakfast buffet was good too. But for lunch and even dinner my sisters and I were craving some amazing tacos and more traditional food but they tried really hard to give us a fine dining experience.
