The hotel was fine, but so noisy with kids running up and down the hall screaming, standing outside after 9:00 pm talking loudly and making it difficult for us to get to sleep, as we had to be up at 5:00 am. Breakfast was adequate. The price was high for the type of hotel, but the nicest in the area.

Extremely pleasant. We couldn't have asked for better. Room was clean and well-maintained, breakfast was very good, personnel was cooperative and helpful. Only complaint was minor: the elevator was slow.

The Hampton Inn offers 2 queen beds which is rare. My husband and I had our teenage son with us so it gave us the space we needed. The hotel was in a convenient location close to Isla Vista. Overall, am pleased with the consistency at the Hampton Inns we've stayed at. This one was very nicely kept, good ammenities, friendly staff. Heated pool was a plus with the kids. Good free breakfast in the morning.

Cant say enough good about this hotel. I traveled with my wife and 2 kids. Everything from the staff to the room and the breakfast was excellent. 14 minutes from Santa Barbara. We will definitely stay again.

Went for a quick weekend away and found out it was spring break. We stayed at Santa Barbara hotel which was horrible. The Hampton was nice and relaxing and room are large and roomy. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Hotel was well located for visit to USB but not so great location for restaurants and touring Santa Barbara on weekend. Hotel was adiquet ,clean and friendly. Complimentary breakfast was great every day.

Nice quality hotel. Large, heavy doors for privacy and security, excellent selection for breakfast and it was included in the price of the room. Very well maintained property, very nice work out room, and pool. Very good choice.

Very good. We spent our time in Santa Barbara about 20 minutes from the Hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a great breakfast which made the nightly rate reasonable. The local neighborhood was eclectic and interesting with thrift stores, small family owned restaurants and college student eating places.

Our room was perfect for the weekend and price. It was clean, updated, and in a great location for our activities at UCSB. The staff was friendly and accommodating and even prepared our room for us early. The continental breakfast was good and convenient.

Very enjoyable stay. Very convenient for visiting our daughter at UCSB. Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Our teenage Kids enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi when we first arrived after a long journey. Breakfast good but a shame about the plastic cutlery!

We stayed here on the way to San Diego from San Jose. Beautiful drive on 101. Clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice. Pre-made omelet, waffle, toasts, boiled eggs, fresh fruits, drinks coffee and etc. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed for one night. We came on a short trip to Santa Barbara, and didn't want to pay too much for a night so we decided to go with Hampton Inn. It wasn't cheap, but definitely more affordable than other places closer to or located in Santa Barbara. Friendly staff, good clean room, free wi-fi and free breakfast. They have a dining area next to rhe lobby where you can enjoy hour breakfast which had a surprisingly wide array of choices. We enjoyed our breakfast very much. They have a heated swimming pool & jacuzzi which we didn't grt to check out since the weather was too cold, and their health coub was under construction so they offered free access to a local health club. The only thing is that they do not have a restaurant inside, so when we ordered room service, it came from an outside independent company that charged a packing fee. Food was decent, but of course overpriced. Their bathroom amenities were better than expected - little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, mouth wash, shower gel, and body lotion. I hate it when I go to a hotel and they only give you a shampoo, lotion, and shower gel. It was a nice place, no problems. Seems to share a parking lot with an apartment complex but we found parking. Seems fairly new, ultra close to the airport.

Hotel was easy to access and staff was very friendly. I am very particular with the cleanliness of hotels, and this hotel was excellent! We always stay in the city of Santa Barbara, but our favorite hotel was booked. This was a great location, only a short drive to Santa Barbara. I would definitely stay there again!

The reason why i will never return is when all the doors shut it is very loud. If a neighbor leaves their room early you sure hear it. Don't expect to sleep in here. The walls are thin as well so if you have that early tv watcher you will hear it.

You start with a great hotel staff welcoming you. You go to a nice spacious room that is clean, has a great shower, and wonderful beds. We slept great and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is great. You are close to Santa Barbara - maybe 10 minutes or so. I would stay there again in a moment.

Perfectly happy with this hotel. It was conveniently located - close to UCSB - and easy to get to off Hwy. 101. Rooms and beds where comfortable. No closet though. Staff was friendly, and breakfast offered a nice variety of choices. We will definitely stay here again when visiting our daughter at UCSB.

Nice hotel. The only issue was that our keys were demagnetized several times during our short 2-day stay despite not being near any cell phones, as was quoted to be the problem. Very frustrating when you can't get in the pool doors and have to go all the way around to the front door to enter the building! Ice machines are also behind lock and key (in […] same room as vending machines so I am assuming that's why) so out of frustration we had to forego ice for our cooler and go elsewhere to get it. The staff was so nice. We were able to check in way early, were offered breakfast the morning we arrived while we waited and were offered gym membership across the street with towel service provided by the hotel. 10stars!!!!!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and freindly. The only issue we had was the hotel was completly full and the staff had difficulty keeping up with the breakfast demands (came through but just ahd to wait)
