We had a 7 hour wait in Dubai so decided to get a few hours sleep in what I think is the only hotel. First of all, we booked 3 single beds as there were me, my husband and my 8 year old son to stay at this hotel on our way to Indonesia and back to UK. When we got to the hotel, we were told that Hotels.com only requested double bed or 2 singles and that if we wanted extra bed, we would have to pay extra. We were very tired so we just paid for extra […] bed. As we got in the room, the 3 single beds are all readily set up in the room. We felt like this was unfair because obviously the extra bed was available. I called hotels.com when we got to Indonesia, to make sure that on the way back to UK, we wouldn't get charged for the extra bed again. But second time around, they still said the same, that we hotels.com only requested 2 singles or 1 double. I tried to argue that it wouldn't make sense that we booked 2singles or 1 double, as there were 3 of us. The reception, MaryJane, didn't even make an eye contact when speaking to me. And at the end, I still have to pay for the extra bed. She then also forgot to take my credit card details for the usual hotel guarantee. Very very dodgy, taking advantage of tired tourists.The shower tiles has yellow stains on the grouts and we could hear the airport announcements all the time. Not sound-proof. Really enjoyed it. After a 13 hour flight it was relaxing!! The only thing I would recommend is more bottle water. There was two but I think 4 would be just the right amount.

Disappointed in the information regarding this hotel. It is located inside security, thus making it impossible to leave once you are signed in to the hotel. The directions to the hotel are not clearly marked. Information not readily available from airport personnel regarding location and how to access the hotel. Not a pleasant experience. Great spacious and clean room with most amenities except a tv channel,showing Champions League Games!! Also Hotel staff had no idea where in the terminal the game was being televised although we managed to find a very crowded and buzzing place in the end. Apart from this hiccup, our stay was very comfortable.

We stopped in dubai for just over nine hours on our way to Auckland , the hotel is located in the airport on airside so we didn't need to check in on our onward flight, it's very convenient and perfect for catching a few hours sleep on long stopovers . Staff are very helpful, rooms are clean.

Got in to Terminal 1 at 8:00 PM. Was in my hotel room (in terminal 1) by 8:30. Only had carryon luggage. Convenient bar. Good room service. Checked out at 6:30 AM the next morning. I booked and paid for the room through hotels.com only to find out when I arrived that the hotel only accommodated travelers that were at the airport in transit only. I was not able to get the room I paid for nor get a refund for what I paid for the room.

Hotel is inside the airport at the duty free area so it's ideal to rest between connecting flights. Rooms are good, thoug the one I was staying at didn't have enough power plugs. Wonderful stress free transit stay. Met coming off the flight, carried the bags and personally escorted to the hotel. The hotel was beautiful and clean and comfortable and would recommend it to everyone.

It is very convenient ta have a hotelroom without passing the customs. Only pity that the minibar was locked. Also, delay of the plane of emirates with one hour, and one hour transport time by bus did reduce the pleasure of the hotel.

The hotel was difficult to find. The intention was to stay in Dubai for the day and fly out the next morning. Went through customs and realized that the hotel was inside Terminal 3. Could not get back in to check in without going through customs. Had to carry my bags around during the day. Very nice hotel, very spacious and it does not feel like you are in an airport. It is quite difficult to find it though. I stayed in terminal 3, once you exit your plane just follow the sign for transfer, just like you are transferring to another flight. You go through the security then go up one level, then turn left, you should be looking for an elevator […] going up, but this could easily be missed also. Your clue should be the pharmacy. This this my third time staying in this hotel and previously I have been very impressed. The hotel location cannot be beaten. It is often literally 5 min walk from your gate which means you have maximum time or resting and not waisting 3-4 hours getting in and out of the airport/ going through security etc. The rooms are generally super clean, except […] this time I had a couple of strands of hair on the bathroom floor (not a big problem). The beds are super comfortable and the room size (Deluxe) is huge. You get disposable slippers and the full range of toiletteries which means you can put most of yours in your checked baggage. A staff member greets you at your arrival gate to take you to the hotel (so you don't get lost). Free wifi and two water bottles. Hair dryer and easy to find iron/board provided. Air con control was not working, someone had to fix it by opening the power board. Had an annoying noisy power board sound this time through the whole room which made me concerned I was sleeping near an electromagnetic field (will make sure I switch rooms next time!). Very convenient if you don't want to leave the airport but want a very nice hotel for an overnight. My only complaint was that the massage chair in the room didn;t work properly but I wasn't expecting that feature.

The staff were excellent, and the breakfast was great too. The comfort and convenice of the room was great also. Just a couple comments that I hope reach the Manager of the Hotel....the carpets need to be CLEANED or changed. The carpets are colorful, but when you look at them they really need cleaning or changing (look at room 2405). The executive floor […] is the best place to stay, more expensive but really nice. Breakfast was very good, but a huge delay for everyone who went there at about 0700. They were terribly short of staff and the food took almost forever to get to us. The place was full and there was only ONE server and he was very slow. There were two guys at the food bar and not sure what they were doing, but the Managers have to really look at the staffing situation. People need to get to their gates, and many were just sitting there waiting 30 + minutes for their food...we were one group that had to wait.
