Friendly staff; excellent location. The room looked "used" but was comfortable. We left our breakfast dishes in the sink to wash later (early morning zipline appointment took precedence) and when we came back they were done for us. A couple of the light switches and one t.v. weren't working, but other than that I have no complaints.

We had the best time in whistler! Hotel was beautiful staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were even better than expected had everything we needed and super clean. Pool and lounge area was perfect gym was great. Highly recommend this hotel were already planning our next stay :)

The location was perfect to be able to access the ski hill, restaurants and shops on foot. The heated pool and jacuzzi was a real treat. Our loft room provided us with a bit of extra space and having two full bathrooms was such a bonus. Would very much recommend staying in a loft suite.

Our loft suite was great! Lots of room for the kids, pool was fun. View if the pool and the mountain. Older hotel, but clean and comfortable. Location was perfect, close to everything.

The location of this hotel is great. However given the average review score was 4.2. I was disappointed. The room I had was long with a lift down bed (bed in a cupboard); the bed was very uncomfortable and given I was there for a week - by the end of the week I was struggling in fact I didn't snowboard the last day because I was so sore. The kitchen […] was great but the fridge was extremely noisy at night (ear plugs are needed). Excellent hot tub and pool. 1 lift for the entire hotel so use the stairs and expect a wait on check out day. WARNING you can not check into your hotel (even though you have paid for your room) without paying for your car parking up front and an oddly high deposit. The hotel is a bit on the older side, but they have done some updates and obviously maintain it well. It was the perfect spot in the Village, not right in the middle of the shops and restaurants, but only an extra few steps away. It was much quieter at night than any of the hotels that are above or near the bars and restaurants. My son and I stayed in a studio for 3 nights to take in some skiing. It is right next to the main lift which is great for location. The rooms are very clean, staff very friendly and nice place to stay. What suprises me (every time we stay in the village) are the drunks that have to yell outside all times of the night. The hotel met all our needs and it's location is one of the best in Whistler. It was also the cheapest we found in our price range, so it was an excellent choice for our vacation.

Overall we were really satisfied with our stay. Great location (steps from lifts), reasonable price, and a very comfortable room for 4 people. Only issue we had was the front desk staff was terribly unfriendly.

Unbeatable location. Extremely convenient. Room was well equipped. Only downside is that the sofa bed is too soft and sunken in the middle, so it is very uncomfortable.

The hotel was great in terms of service and cleanliness. Great location in the village. The room was just enought for a weekend getaway. The Murphy bed was just ok. Would have liked bigger sheets and cover. The one real issue we had was the fact that you could hear EVERYTHING. The hotel is quite convinient, has a heated outdor pool & located in the heart of Whistler village. The only problem I have faced is that they have used he pressure washer to clean stuff till midnight!! and my room of course was just above that gas engine. The front desk people are very helpful

I really enjoyed the friendly staff how they were eager to help find places etc... It was upsetting that the pool wasn't in service. But overall we would definitely come back :)

This hotel is located in between the pan pacific and the whistler village hotel. Both very beautiful hotels, and then there was ours. Much older and outdated. This hotel is located in a great location though. 30 steps at the most to Earles, Mongoli Grill, and Starbucks.

I really enjoyed my recent trip to Whistler and the Mountainside Lodge made the experience a great one. I was travelling with my sister and her young baby boy. We really liked the room we were booked into. It was very close to all the spots in Whistler Village we like to frequent.

Interesting. Never slept on a Murphy bed before. I thought the studio room was neat and loved the large bathroom. Apart from the price, I'd stay there again.

Hotel was easy to find driving into Whistler from Vancouver. Check in was painless and we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. Looking for the bedroom we soon realised there wasn't one and the bed pulled down from the wall. There was a full kitchen, a good sized bathroom and decent TV. The hotel was nice. The pool was nice. The hot tub was luke-warm. The room was dated & had a very awkward layout. If I had known it was a Murphy bed in the middle of the living room, I wouldn't have booked this room. The bathroom was fine, but toilet handle had to be jiggled to work everytime. the room (we had a loft) was really clean, no 'off' smells, lovely view of the village and even had cookwares and dish detergents ready. the staff were really friendly& the amenities were clean(no weird floating bandages whatsoever) despite it being outdoors.

We had a loft suite, which had a really cool set up. Bed up top of loft with a 2nd bathroom, and sauna in the suite!

Enjoyed the stay. Would be better if room was not split-level (ie. one level floor), if had a patio and somewhat noisy with late night party goers walking home in the village. Nice pool location with towels provided at the pool, friednly staff and convenient location.

The customer service of the front desk staff was superb (thanks to all of you)....very friendly and helpful. The studio room was terrific. The only drawback that I can think of to this otherwise excellent hotel is the front steps....no ramp up to the hotel (but elevators once you get in). On the plus side, the Mountainside Lodge is at a great location - we enjoyed watching the mountain bikers from our window on the 4th floor. The lodge is in easy walking distance from many shops and restaurants in Whistler Village, and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. But the Lodge itself is a bit tired looking and in need of renovation. […] One drawback of rooms with a bedroom loft is the heat during the summer. Even with air conditioning and fans going constantly, the loft was unbearably warm. (During winter stays, the loft is probably nice and cozy.)
