The Veneto was great! Had a great stay, had a fantastic room. The pool is wonderful! Don't miss out on the sushi bar in the lobby. Lots of working girls in the casino but it just livens the place up!

There is a internet cafe open 24 hours across the street There are 3 cell companies within 2 blocks of the hotel if you want a Panama cell phone (cheaper than US cell phone) I needed to buy an extra suitcase. The store was only 2 blocks from the hotel. There are 2 nice restaurants & McDonalds within 2 blocks of the hotel. I went in to a dentist office […] there on this street & got excellent service and a great price. The hotel staff were very friendly. I stayed 7 nights and had 2 different persons clean my room. Hotel was average but we upgraded room to an executive level which was supposed to include breakfast but they charged us the first morning and we never ate breakfast there again. The food in the New York Steak House was not good at all. The crab cakes were the worst-must have been frozen for eternity.

My biggest issue with my stay was the lack of attention and service. I had only 1 towel and no shampoo upon my arrival. I asked the maid in the hall if she could obtain these items for me. About an hour later, a supervisor of some sort came and asked me what I needed. I told her and she said those items would be delivered. They were not. OK, regular visitors know that the reason to stay at Veneto is for the Casino scene... That was fine. But my room had an adjoining door to the next door room without any noise insulation so when they returned to continue their party at 4.45am both nights I could hear EVERY word and chuckle which made it impossible to sleep. I've stayed at this hotel in 2012 and enjoyed it. I like the location and I got it at a great rate less than $90 per night. Don't use the hotels taxi service it charge me $10 for the same trip that I paid $4. I will stay here again.

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. VERY well kept, surprisingly friendly staff. Reveiews i had read previously had me prepared for rudeness, but staff was excellent, helpful, and some spoke a little english. Will DEFINITLY return to the Veneto on my return to Panama City.

The Wyndham had outstanding customer service during my stay and many friendly people worked on staff. The Wyndham has a very good social area that contains a restaurant, spa, salon, swimming pool, billiard, table top tennis, game area, conference rooms and ballrooms. The Wyndham has very good restaurants all over the hotel and very good room service 24 hours each day. The Wyndham also gave good Panama tours! The computer access and internet connection from the gift shop was good. The Wyndham is located in a good shopping and restaurant area as well. I will stay at the Wyndham again because my stay was very comfortable. The housekeeper who cleaned my room each day did an outstanding job! Room service delivered my food very prompt each day and room service had good food and always had outstanding customer service! My round trip plane flights on Delta were very comfortable as well. Stayed here before and although maid service is good, the attitude and service level of the bar and casino personnel is below par. The internet service in room is poor, cannot get high speed wi-fi as promised even after several complaints. Overall experience was not satisfactory, will not stay here again.

Spent my first 2 nights in Panama City at this hotel. It's well located, clean and for the price, it's pretty good. There's a casino that goes all night, but you can't hear it from the room. The roof deck pool area is pretty good too. I'd stay here again.

This is a new, beautiful hotel. The problem, however, is that everything is broke or close to breaking--we had to call the hotel several times with complaints, The worse part, though, is the noise in the hallway at night. This hotel is full of single, middle age men here to meet all the hookers at the casino. This an adult only hotel. The casino is very active at night, the music is loud and the prostitutes are numerous. It's legal in Panama. The women are not agressive but are everywhere on the casino floor and at the bar area. Depending on one's priorities this could be an enjoyable stay. :-) I would NOT bring family to this hotel! It is centrally located, […] $27 cab ride from Tocumen and close to most areas of the city. A wonderful Italian "cafeteria" across the street where many "locals" frequent. The staff are very helpful and there are private cars available for your transportation. They charged me $5.00 for close in city destination. $7.00 to Punta Pacifica and $10 to Casco Viela, very reasonable, but always ask the price BEFORE you enter the car or cab. The rooms are modern, no flat screen tv, the lighting in the bathroom is very dim to say the least. Staff does clean and make beds daily. First priority is to avoid noise from the mezannine casino and band area. AsI was on the 13th floor this was not a problem. The lobby coffee shop is very plain. It is cheaper and more interesting to eat at Cafeteria Manola across the street (food is so-so). Also there is internet service and a Chinese mini-mart across the street to get cold driniks, […] as the rooms in Panama have no refrigerators. There are also several souvenir shops on the same street, so the hotel location is convenient. Only one has to overlook the presence of ladies of the night at street level or in the casino area. Rooms were equivalent to decent hotel rooms in US. Bed was comfy, tv was modern and had quite a few english movie channels. Bathroom also modern. Casino was wall to wall "professional ladies" - felt targeted wherever I went. Not a comfortable place to just sit down and have a beer.
