This Hotel could use a little updating but other than that, it had everything going for it. Location, location, location.

Our stay was great. We asked for a room away from the main streets which was a good idea. The extent of the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The location to ancient Rome was super.

Very conveniently located near Termini Station, San Giovanni and Colosseum. Metro station across the street. Well maintained, and clean with modern decor, tho rooms are small. AC in rooms worked well. Breakfast first rate! Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely stay again at current room rate.

This hotel was fine for our needs, although nothing special. We booked it for the loction and it was close to the colosseum but not really close to anything else. The breakfast was the best part of the hotel! It was delicious and the best breakfast we had in Italy! The room was fine but the shower leaked and flooded our bathroom.

The location is very convenient.Major sightseeing locations are within a stone's throw.The staff is very helpful and supporting. Overall a very comfortable stay for vacation.The breakfast did not have a variety of choice but the limited offers were very tasteful which more than compensated.

Nice hotel. Comfortable rooms. They were doing some minor maintenance (replacing carpet) during our stay, but they were very nice amount it. However, they were having some issues with the internet during my stay as well. Hopefully it is resolved by now.

Very convenient for public transport. Very clean and excellent breakfast included. Would stay there again any time and would gladly recommend it to anybody.

I dont believe this hotel is 4 stars. Nice rooms and clean, but very old furniture especially carpets. Good service especially at its restorant, but not the reception. Positioned reasonably close to main attractions and right next to a main subway, the hotel boasted a good location, at an affordable price. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel facilities were limited, and by night a young couple may find the immediate area a little dry. Very well located Hotel. Just be careful with your room because it might be noisy and you can have a terrible night with sounds of sewer pipes upon your head. Hotel is perfect place to stay in Rome! Very convenient to move around the city because Metro-Manzoni station is just across the street. Close to restaurants, bar(coffee/gelato) stores, even japanese restaurant , which is not easy to find in Rome is just a block away. Walking distance to colosseo and forum. The breakfast buffet is amazing!!! And the staff are very friendly.However, the interior of the room is quite old. The carpet and the furnishings are worn off. Not quite the 4 star standard.The location is great, next to the Metro Station but not very noisy.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. The carpet in our room needed some cleaning but otherwise the room was very clean. Would stay there if we visit Rome again.

The hotel was in a very convenient location. 2 of our party had to move rooms. The shower leaked onto the hall carpet and was wet when they arrived which was not particularly pleasant forcing them to move rooms. Another couple had to move rooms at 3am when the sprinkler went off. Nice hotel but needs modernising

The only complaint is that the internet in the bedroom was very weak to non existent. Breakfast was good and the metro was opposite the hotel.

This was our second stay at the Hotel Milton Roma. It is small and very clean. The breakfast buffet is wonderful with a huge variety of fruits, cereal, yogurt, etc. It is within walking distance of the Coliseum and the Forum. The subway is on the opposite corner. We plan to stay there again on our next trip!!

Last time we stayed we had tea/coffee making facilities, sadly this time these were not available, it wouldhave been nice to have had this other than that no complaints whatsoever, helpful staff, nice and clean roomn, would stay again.

Excellent hotel! Just got back to the UK after my first trip to Italy which included a few days in Rome. The location of the hotel is ideal, walking distance to so many sights and right opposite the metro station. The room was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great room rate, very easy access to train, food nearby, Coloseum, Forum, Trevi Square all within walking distance. Great morning breakfast!! Bring sneakers! Lots of sights to see if your a walker. They have maps in the hotel and staff was very helpful. Free wi-fi that worked. Definately coming back here next year!

Negatives: The rooms were small and the staff was rude. Positives: It was clean, had a reasonable price and about 40 feet from the metro entrance. Also, it's only about an 8 minute metro ride from Roma Termini to the hotel. Be aware that the vague information listed on Expedia's site for Hotel Milton's more detailed info regarding the 3 EU per person, […] per night city tax is not correct. I originally called Expedia to clarify and was told that it was already covered. However, the hotel management disagreed about the fee, so we both called Expedia yet again to confirm whether the tax had been paid. During this call, they then switched and said that it was not covered. Be aware that this city tax is not covered by the taxes already paid to Expedia and will be collected on site by the hotel. It took us a couple hours to find a hotel on foot from the bus station, so bring a detailed street map especially if you don't know any italian. I would recommend getting a taxi especially on hot days when you don't wanna walk very far looking for a hotel. if you are flying w Ryanair and they sell you a round trip bus ticket, make sure you have a map […] or location of pick up to return to the airport since there are multiple bus companies on different time schedules. Milton hotel is affordable and close to the subway (metro) about 20metres away. One downside is that late in the evening you can feel the tram braking into the station. The rooms are generally clean however the corridors/carpets need a little revamp. The staff are great and helpful. No issues otherwise.

We recently went to Rome for our 10th wedding anniversary and searched Expedia for hotel reviews. It was our first time in Italy. Suffice to say, we really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff VERY helpful in answering our questions. We would definitely come back to this hotel on our next visit.

I asked for a wake up call so we would be sure to get up in time for our return flight home. It never happened. Luckily I woke up in time on my own otherwise we would have missed our flight. Located in a not so nice part of town, graffiti, loud motorcycles. A 15 minute walk to coliseum. Metro just across street. Breakfast buffet was average. The rooms are small, air cond is rated very low. The shower has only a 1/2 partition on bath so it makes it uncomfortable and messy to shower.
