Royal Angkor Resort & Spa - Siem Reap

Great visit. Everything work Like dream, staff in hotel are great, help everything what you need. And spa in hotel is very relaxing and staff very comfortable and professional. And great pool for swimming and relaxing.

Great value for the price. It is close to both airport and Siem Reap center. Rooms are comfortable and clean, service is excellent. Their restaurant is good too. If I were to visit Siem Reap again I would not look for other hotel.

This hotel was very nice! It's conveniently located 5 mins. from the airport. They have a free airport pick-up & when we got to the car the man gave us each a cold hand towel & a cold bottle water. The rooms are big. The pool is very clean with nice layout chairs. Waiters came back asking if we needed anything. The hotel staff was the NICEST staff I've […] EVER had at any hotel I've stayed at. This hotel was Fabulous! I actually extended my stay for 2 more days because I enjoyed it so much. Me were promptly picked up form the airport and our driver had cold towels for us and bottles of water!! My room was very large and comfortable, and overlooked the pool. Beautiful balcony to sit on. The food was very good and the breakfast buffet was huge! […] So many choices. Everyone who works at the hotel was so nice and spoke very good English. Mr. Ny and Mr. Kong served us in the restaurant on most occasions and were so accommodating and sweet. The general manager even stopped to say hello and ask about our stay. The hotel arranged a driver for us for the day and we toured Siem Reap and Angkor with no troubles. The hotel is in a great location about 8 minutes from the airport and a short drive to the temples and the markets. Wifi in the room was a big plus too! We stayed for 4 nights in early March 2012 while visiting the Angkor temples, and spent our 26th wedding anniversary here. We took advantage of the free 10 min massage and extended it by 1 hour as a couples massage. Truly got us off to a relaxed start. The spa is where the Gym is, next to the pool. Unfortunately the Gym is not air conditioned and with […] 35 to 36 celcius (98-100 farenheit) temperatures every day, it meant our plans to use the gym every day fell foul of the heat. Would be better if they moved the gym to one of the under-utilised air conditioned rooms on the ground floor near reception. Pool area is great. The hotel is a little away from the town centre which means it is nice & quiet but a 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride into town is only US $2 or US$3 depending how hard you haggle. The bed was a little firm for my liking but my wife had no complaints- pillows were nice & thick, with two thicknesses to choose from in our room. The breakfast buffet was good. We asked for a take- away breakfast pack the day before for our sunrise trip to Angkor Wat and it was ready and waiting at 5 am. The main restaurant offers pretty good value compared to the many offerings in town and the service was superior to in town. Staff met every request with a friendly smile and provided it promptly. We used the free airport shuttle both ways and it was very professional and prompt with an air conditioned Mercedes Van providing the comfort. The free town centre shuttle operates every 2 hours with the last service at 8 pm, so if you use this you need to catch a tuk tuk home. Hotel is 8 years old and is very well maintained. Great value for us as this was a quieter time of the season apparently, so we got a great deal through Hotels.com. Overall would recommend as a good place to stay. Pročitajte više

I loved this place! Kim, from the front desk, and the driver, picked me up at the airport with big smiles. In the short trip to the hotel, they taught me several Khmer words that made the rest of my trip more fun b/c of the response of the locals when I attempted to speak Khmer. From the reception to the business center, restaurant, to the doormen, […] everyone was friendly and smiling, and teaching me new words every day. The hotel is a few minutes-tuk-tuk ride outside the city center where all the cool restaurants, bars, markets are. I rented a bicycle in town for 5 days to get around. (I highly recommend seeing Angkor Wat (especially the further temples, away from the crowds) by bicycle.) The pool is large and nice, I had a massage after a long bike-ride. The gym is small an surrounded by a water-feature. It was a little too warm and felt like I was in a fishbowl, but still functional. Although the hotel wants to sell it self as a five star resort - there is nothing 5 stars about it. It was clean - that's about it. The food very expensive when compared to the quality of it. The personel did almost not speak any English. Over all the resort is not at all luxurious.

Our stay here during New Years 2012 could not have been nicer! The management and staff were so very helpful with our family. The food was great, and the loan of the wheelchair from the hotel made accessibility so much easier.. We were always greeted with very cheerful and helpful staff. Very nice hotel with the greatest staff I ever met! Everyone is so friendly and polite, and the service is fantastic. The cleaning staff even folded our clothes every morning! The pool area is beautiful and the rooms are very nice, although not in absolute top condition. Breakfast is good but could perhaps be even better. The food in the restaurant […] is delicious! At arrival, I was a little unpleasant when the receptinist demanded my credit card number. I had already paid to hotels.com. Besides that, everything was good. The breakfast was not bad and the deluxe room was spacious and clean. Although the location of the hotel is not so near from downtown, Tuk-tuk was available anytime at a reasonable price.

Good quality hotel at the higher price range for Siem Reap. Still very cheap by international standards. Very helpful and courteous staff. Excellent pool. Had a little trouble at checking finding our booking, so make sure you take a print out of the booking confirmation. They need this.

this hotel is not the very best place for viviting Angkor (its one of the last on the road) but it is OK and the place is very nice (awesome swimming pool) and the staff very helpfull

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet på Royal Angkor Resort. Bra rom, veldig serviceinnstilt personale. Frokosten var mer enn bra nok. Også kvaliteten på maten i restauranten var meget bra. Innbydende bassengområde. Kort vei til både flyplass og Angkor Wat. Alt i alt så er vi meget godt fornøyde.

Resortet og værelserne har stil og atmosphære. Haven og den kæmpe pool er et smukt og dejligt retreat i varmen. Prisniveau i restaurantenen matcher fint kvaliteten. Morgenmaden i haven er vidunderlig. Og ikke mindst - personalet har kambodianernes fantastiske smil, interesse i dit velvære og gode engelsk. En udsøgt fornøjelse trods den høje pris.

Pro: - Schöne Zimmer und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel. - Großer Pool- auch für Sportschwimmer geeignet. - Umfangreiches Frühstück. - Tuktuk-Fahrer direkt vor der Tür (m Besten nach Vanna fragen) Negativ: - Im Pool ist irgendein Mittel, das den Zahnschmelz extrem angreift (kein Witz!) und alles gelb einfärbt. - Leider relativ weit vom Zentrum […] entfernt. - Die Breakfast-Box für den Sonnaufgang-Trip zum Angkor Wat war etwas mikrig. Hotellet ligger lidt udenfor byen, men har gratis bus til centrum. Derudover er det også billigt at tage både taxa og tuc-tuc. Det ligger også forholdsvist tæt på Angkor Wat, hvor man også kan komme ud ret billigt. Derudover var de rigtig gode til at tale engelsk, men det var de fleste nu i byen. Selv da vi kom på en anden dato end planlagt (havde […] ringet i forvejen), godtog de gerne en dansk ordrebekræftelse, og stolede på os, når vi oversatte det til engelsk. Utrolig sød og behagelig service, betjening osv - vi kunne ikke finde en eneste fejl ved hotellet, og anbefaler det gerne til andre. Pročitajte više
