Good value for reasonable sized room which was very clean and well equipped. Great location - right opposite beach. Only problem which meant we didn't enjoy our stay at the hotel more was poor sound proofing between adjacent rooms - thankfully it wasn't peak season or may have left quite sleep deprived. I have just returned from a weeks break at Hotel Isabel with my girlfriend and 10 month old son, it was fantastic. The hotel is very clean and the staff couldn't have done more. Quiet hotel that has good standards of cleanliness throughout and It's worth paying extra for a room with a seaview. Location could be a problem for anyone who is not a good walker as it is about 1km from town but overall we enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate to go back sometime

We stayed in one of the larger sea view rooms, back in the summer, and had an excellent time at Hotel Isabel. Finding we had a spare week's leave before winter descends, we booked another week there, in a smaller room to the side of the building. Throughout both stays, Hotel Isabel and her staff were extremely satisfactory. Great location too.

The previous reviews about the rooms not being soundproof are pretty accurate. Can hear quite a lot through the walls, especially in the washroom! Also, they do not have any dressers in the rooms to put your clothes in, so we had to partially live out of our suitcases for the 2 weeks we were there. There is a very small 4 drawer chest in the closet, […] which held very few items, and not nearly enough hangers. Bring your own hangers for your clothes. The mini fridge is very tiny and the one we got continually went into auto defrost mode every 3 days and was little better than a cooler for us, although the other 2 couples we travelled with had no problems with their mini fridge. No ice machines in the hotel, but most of the bar/kitchen staff were happy to give us some ice from the kitchen whenever we asked, as someone from our group of 6 would usually tip them a euro! Those are minor complaints and did not detract from our wonderful vacation. The staff work very hard and many do more than one job. Very helpful front desk staff for me - kudos to Jose, Miguel and Stephanie. Shoutouts to kitchen/bar staff - Carmen, Maria and Raoul. Housekeeping staff are always pleasant-great job Aurelia! Special thanks to Michael, always there to help! Would recommend purchasing the breakfast deal as the buffet was plentiful, from hot selections to cold - loved my bacon, tomato and cheese sandwiches! Very good hotel but disappointed when I came to leave. The flight wasn't until late and reception kindly said we could use a shower when we came to reclaim our bags provided before 5.30. Unfortunately the later reception said they didn't know of this and only offered use of toilets to wash and change.

We liked everything about this hotel except the beds. We had two single beds pushed together to make a double, which was very awkward as they kept pushing apart. The cleaning staff were particularly friendly and concerned that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Right next to the beach, not so close to the station though. Very good breakfast, plenty of choices. Pool is not big but nice to have if you don't want to go the beach on a windy day. It was my birthday, and they sent a bottle of champagne, very nice gesture!

Hotel is very clean and very well maintained. Breakfast is extensive and features a wide variety of breakfast items. Location is across the street from one of the nicest stretches of beach. The hotel reception staff really suck, they can speak english but are cold and uncaring, that was the only negative about this excellent hotel.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Hotel Isabel. We opted for the breakfast option and it was well worth it....plenty of options, both hot and cold items. Their in-room WiFi was not the greatest. The best, consistent connection was in the lobby. This hotel is located by the beach. You are surrounded by bars and restaurants. The room was nice, big and clean. Breakfast was varied and I think everyone can find what they like on the buffè. Only thing was we didn't know that you had to shut patio door in order for the c/a to work. We found out after we had left for our stay. Since we only stayed the one night we didn't call to ask how it worked. I'm sure if we had the problem would have been corrected.

Staff were on the whole friendly and helpful. However, hotel parking was not cheap at 10 Euros per day (to be fair, an average rate for Spanish hotels) and very confined and difficult to get into and out of (constrained by walls and other cars and steep ramps - the free parking on the street would have been a better choice). The Wifi was essentially […] useless if you are a Mac/Apple user. It cost nothing, but then I never managed to get onto any Web sites (although the signal was strong), and it as not worth the hassle of trying to sort out the problems of why the page where you put in a user ID and password never appeared. None of the many solutions suggested on the handout provided by the hotel with the user ID and password made any sense for a Mac, and it was not worth calling the helpline to sort it out for a 1 night stay. The hotel management could not help. In contrast, had no problem with getting on the web in a rented apartment that we stayed in in Granada. The beach, with good swimming, is very handy, just across the road, and there are lots of local restaurants and shops. Superb location right on the sea front. Worth paying extra for a sea view. Good sized pool and plenty of sun beds. Located right in the heart of the resort but no noise around the hotel.
