Super 8 Motel - Fresno Hwy 99 - Fresno

Stayed one night at this motel, location was ok, close to the highway... that's the only good point! Drapes and pillows were dirty, asked for clean one, had a set of stained sheets and we had to replace it by ourselves. Carpet had blood stains, didn't want to put anything on the ground... Bathroom wasn't better... There's hookers in front of the motel […] and strange people around. A lot of noise coming from the outside (cars, train ++++) all night long. We found the hotel easy to get to (right off the 99). Whatever we asked for was granted (extra pillow and wash cloths), but the room left a lot to be desired!! This is a twice a year, 3-7 day business stop for me. The rooms are clean, service friendly, breakfast OK, price is right, Denny's next door. With other inexpensive motels in the same block, there is a slightly seedy aspect to the neighborhood, but the Super 8 seems to rise above the element and maintains a good standard. I keep returning.

The motel is plain vanilla in terms of accommodations but the price was very good and I just needed a place to stay the night in a convenient location. Did not have any problems with my stay. The staff was friendly and no hustle at checking in. Took about 2 minutes to check in. The are is a little rough I guess you can say. The rooms were quiet. The hotel was really old and outside there were a few "ladies of the evening". We did not feel very safe and during the night people were knocking on doors very loudly and then later someone was in the lot in front of our room with a shopping cart looking for empty cans and bottles in the trash.

I've had mixed experiences when staying at this hotel. But it has been good enough in the past to keep coming back. On this trip, my room was very clean before my stay, and the neighborhood didn't have any of the unsavory elements of my last experience or two. Our stay was sufficient, the new management far excells my last visit. Might not want to eat in the breakfast room, there are loads of cockroaches under everything, and if you like company, the entrance to the parking lot has several "ladies of the evening" to choose from. Needs a little better security

if you're arriving on a hot day, ask them to open / turn air on - it was SO hot in my room, I could barley touch the floor with my bare feet!... They do have a pool!

We were the ONLY customers in the entire hotel. When I asked the manager for a corner unit, he said it was in the front and would be quite noisy from the freeway, so we stuck with our back of the lot room. The room was fine, the manager was fine. I arrived to a dirty dark room, that was at least non smoking. The curtains would not shut so as i was laying in bed with the lights off watching tv, i looked up someone was peeping in my window. Room was very clean, smelled good, plenty of towells, provided iron upon request, quiet. Breakfast was all carbs, but everything was good and fresh. Also the Denny's on the corner gave a 10% discount on any meal for hotel guests. Neighborhood not the best, but easy access to the freeway.

I posted a rave review for this Super 8 last April. But my room on this stay was not properly cleaned. There were nasty stains of disgusting varieties in the restroom that were never cleaned. And unlike my April visit, this September seemed to have a lot of street walking hookers walking about in front of the local discount hotels.

The hotel wasn't bad... a little dirty behind the toilet but the sheets were clean and the AC worked. The staff was nice and it suited our purpose.

We stayed here while traveling the entire state Calif. It is right off the freeway. not much in the neighborhood. A good night sleep before hitting the road again. Breakfast is all carbs, and they do not refill. My choice would be the Denny's down the street. Good bed for the night.

It is an adequet hotel if you happen to be in town for business or overnight on your way someplace. Not the best of neighborhoods unless you happen to be looking for a hooker. Can't beat the price and has a microwave and frigidaire. A little noisy due to the freeway. Breakfast ends early at 9:00 but wasn't told about it. Coffee ends at the same time. This place beats the Super 8 near the Convention Center. No bad smells in this Super 8. Beds are nice and firm.

was volgens mij een franchise hotel. De balie en ontbijt mensen waren er elke dag.hun gedrag was uitzonderlijk goed voor motel rating. Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Daardoor kan het motel zeker een puntje omhoog. De kamers waren goed en het ontbijtwas ook goed verzorgd. Zeker een aanrader.! Wij waren er drie nachten.
