an excellent, well-maintained place, with many advantages. A bit out of the way, but well-worth it! Area is not very clean, but the enclosed site is well-kept and a fantastic place to get away from it all; a breath of fresh air in a crowded island! The villas are beautiful, the beach nice, a large pool, and a tasty restaurant. Well-worth the visit.

We were back packing around the Phillipines and stayed here for a few chill out nights. Rooms are great with brilliant bedding, house keeping were brilliant (I haven't had such good house keeping for many years). Staff were all great, breakfast was a la carte rather than buffet which was also good... Came with breads, cereal, fruits, main and tea/coffee […] etc. Cons... The location is not near anything but that was a plus for us. The surrounding area is fine, but prob nothing for you if you're on holiday. Wi fi was patchy, didn't really bother us, it was a short walk to get it & free. The drinks were more expensive than some places, but really not unreasonable. I would recommend the resort for relaxing and staying put. The individual villas are cute , clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained.The beaches are not the white sand most people look for. There is no snorkeling attractions nor other water based activities or visual site seeing highlights. Trips to other islands […] are the best option for snorkeling. In that area, the Cordova Reef Resort is the best option. But I would not go to that area of Lapu Lapu again knowing the visual beauty is not to be found. Over all the resort was nice keeping in mind that it's designed as a get away. Myself not being accustomed to a "get away from everything" resort, I was expecting certain conveniences that were lacking. There was a VERY limited amount of hot water in the rooms not to mention the shower was complicated to work to say the least. although the bathroom […] was extremely roomy and obviously meant more for a romantic couple the faucets were in disrepair. Very little furnishings great you when you enter this bungalow. I took a larger room with twin beds; one office chair, no dresser, one closet, TV, minimal mini bar. Biggest complaint would be the lack of WiFi, although advertised, was non existent inside the room. one was required to sit outside or very close to the glass door to take advantage of the low bandwidth. Let me start by saying this property is beautiful. But when my fiancee and I arrived the room was hot, no hot water after our third request we got hot water. The restaurant is not air conditioned and is open air, flies and bugs to deal with when eating. Got sick from a hamburger I ate in the restaurant and service is very slow. Had to look for our waiter/waitress […] to ask for anything we needed. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks are expensive and small. This was a wonderful place to relax and forget about everything! Each room is a separate cottage with private porch. So, no noise from adjoining rooms. The views from my cottage and porch were spectacular! Looking over the infinity pool and out over the ocean from my porch, it was easy to sit and get lost in my surroundings. Where do I start? (1) the free form swimming pool and was kept clean, but it was rather shallow; (2) the WI-FI internet was slow and had frequent outages. The only had one access point on the entire property whereas they need about 10 access points to cover that much acreage. This was a real problem because I was trying to complete eLearning between […] scuba lessons; (3) The water heaters are outside behind the cabins and they appear to be nearly rusted out. The hot water was turned of one morning. They really need on-demand heaters inside each unit; (4) The water that came out of every faucet was brown. They really need a secondary water treatment system with filtering and ultraviolet purification. The only pure water provided are 350 ml bottles in the mini-bar; (5) The air conditionnig unit was not powerful enough to maintain a comfortable environment; (6) The room furnishings lacked any drawers. Instead they gave us one wicker basket in the closet; (7) The bathtub was sized for a small asian person, but all I could use it for was washing clothes; (8) The cabin doors need a good peep hole; (9) Provided bathroom items had extremely small labels that were impossible to read; (10) The location was on the far corner of the island and taxi drivers usually wanted a surcharge to go there; (11) Motorized traffic is restricted on the road to the resort, although the police let conventional taxi cabs through; Transportation at the resort gate house is three wheel pedal cars for the first half mile then motorized tricycles thereafter; (12) The complimentary breakfast menu only had three options and the scrambled eggs that I got one day were rancid; (13) The so called beach was about half complete and I never saw anybody use it; (14) DID NOT HAVE IN-ROOM SAFES and the resort was in a neighborhood where I was inclined to lock up everything. セブの空港からは、タクシーで45分〜1時間程度かかりました。遠いです。 部屋はあっさりしていて、嫌な感じがありません。プールも大きくて快適です。 プールサイドでゆっくりと本を読んだり、ときどき泳いだり、何か飲んだりしながら過ごしました。海も目の前ですが、蜂が多かったので行きませんでした。 ショッピングモールのSMまでは、やはり45分〜1時間程度かかりました。 レストランは何を食べても本当に美味しかったです。外で食べる必要は無いでしょう。 部屋とプールでのんびりしたい人に向いていると思います。

Das Resort ist ziemlich abgelegen. sehr nahe bei Dorf Cordova. Natürlich mit den üblichen Karaoke-Immissionen... Schade, denn die Anlage wäre eigentlich schön für einen Hide-out. Grosser Pool, ansprechende Zimmer. Leider merkt man, dass das Resort unter Philippino Management ist... Die Zimmer sind ok - aber nicht durchdacht. so hat es z.Bsp. einen Wasserkocher, […] aber keinen Stecker dort, wo der steht. Also muss das Wasser auf dem Nachttisch gekocht werden. Kein Druck in der Dusche ist leider auch üblich bei Ph.Mgmt. Service am Pool fehlt total - Personal schlecht oder gar nicht geschult. Aber freundlich sind sie schon. Frühstück ok, sonstiges Essen eher weniger toll. Hab selber einige Jahre in diesem Land gelebt und darum weiss ich, wie die lokalen Menues schmecken sollten... Obwohl das Hotel etwas abseits von Mactan City liegt, ist man dort schnell mit dem Taxi, 20 Min. beim Lapu Lapu Denkmal. Ein Paradies zum Ausruhen und Ausspannen nach z.B. einer Rundreise. Da das Hotel recht leer war, genoss ich es, den Pool ( Pool ist sehr gepflegt) und das Meer zeitweise für mich allein zu haben. Das Essen war außerordentlich gut, […] nicht nur die lokale Küche, sondern die Pasta-Gerichte waren super schmackhaft. Die Köchin hat auch beim Italiener gelernt. Auch für Verliebte ist es einfach ein Traum, wo man die Intimität genießen kann. Die Bungalows sind mit einer kleinen Terasse ausgestattet, wo man in Ruhe sein Bier oder einen Cocktail trinken kann und vom Garten-Bungalow auf Pool und Meer schauen kann. Das Restaurant ist nur überdacht, bei Bedarf können Türen geschlossen werden und so hat man immer den Blick zum Meer und Pool. - 막탄 번화가랑 너무 멀다. 주변에 택지 잡기도 어려워 주변에 마사지나 식사를 하려면 무조건 나가야 하는데 마리바고 리조트쪽에서 본 리조트로 오려면 150페소 안쪽으로 나온다. 미터기준 허나 반대로 나가려면 콜택시 불러야 하는데 그렇게 되면 택시기사랑 싸워야 한다 보통 미터요금에 50페소를 더 주는데 문제는 콜택시가 올때 지가 있던 곳에서 미터를 키고 오거나, 아니면 아예 켜지도 않고 가격흥정을 하려고 하는데 정말 짜증이 난다. 화가 나서 콜택시 취소를 하려고 하면 100페소를 줘야 한다. 헐~ - 뜨거운물은 물틀고 30분이 지나야 나온다. 말이 막힌다. - 욕실과 방사이에 문이 없다. ㅎㅎ 여친이랑 가면 참 민망하기 […] 짝이 없다. -단~~! 사람없이 정말 잠이나 실컷 자고 밥은 가져간 라면이나 끓여먹고 그럴거면 가라! 그렇다면 이만한대도 없을것 같다.
