Driftwood Resort - Ormond Beach

The hotel was nothing fancy but it has all you need. The room was very clean and the house keeping was on top of everything we did not have to ask for anything, everything we needed was allways right there. Great friendly staff, great location, building very dated, no bugs, refrigerator, stove , microwave, in room. Bring a extra pillow, Very satisfied, yes,.. its not the Hilton, but the rate is fabulous for ocean front with a balcony. We are going back in 3 weeks for a longer stay.

Filthy moldy old. Ceiling leaked, bed was soake during the night.

Great location and value, don't expect much more!

i would not recommend this hotel to anyone, first of all our door wouldnt even open without kicking it. i asked to get it looked at and no one responded and the pool was freezing cold, just bad service all around.

Decent price for a Thurs, a bit higher each night for Fri/Sat, but still a good deal for Biketoberfest! Good location on A1A, almost halfway between Iron Horse and Main Street! Just not a lot of restaurants or bars near hotel, but some within a few miles. Hotel was surprisingly quiet and I was mildly impressed. Needs total renovation. Everything was old. Room had an funny smell. TV did not work (replaced after 4 hours.) Room not cleaned after 1st our first night. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I have stayed at this hotel 1 or 2 times a year for about ten years. The location is great. The pool and lawn area is always clean and pleasant. But I'm sorry to say the rooms showing their age and have been cleaner in the past. My friends and I have decided to look for another place to stay.

I was discouraged the first time I stayed at this hotel, but we did like the view and private balcony, we had a much better stay this time, the room was cleaner, and the 3rd floor was much cleaner and smelled better, we love the view and it was quiet and friendly. It is an older hotel, so u have to keep that in mind.

besides barking dogs running around without leashes, upon entering the room, the smell was horrendous, the bathroom was dirty, not cleaned around toilet, carpet sticky, made white socks black on bottom. Under beds was trash, so you can just imagine they dont clean the bed spreads. Nobody in office, and had to check in at another hotel a block away. […] No answer at front desk so couldnt get more towels, or complain about dogs barking at night and in morning. It was totally gross. We were totally disappointed. The room smelled so musty that I was nauseated. There was mold on the walls, the bathroom was filthy, and there were rust colored stains on the bedding. When we asked to move to another room, the tried to charge us extra, and gave us a very hard time, but eventually we were moved.
