In the middle of nowhere - well it was off the edge of my satnav map - you come to this superb hotel with virtually all the facilities you could wish... for. A large airy reception area with comfortable chairs and an Internet wi-fi zone. Large indoor dining room and a covered outdoor area for the smokers. Well stocked bar with satellite TV and barstaff very willing to pull up your favourite program. The bedrooms we have had in three visits were all spacious and well appointed. We opted for a balcony giving a view of the busy Maas and the seemingly endless movement of the barges up and down river. Outside one can go for walks or bicycle rides. And then come back for a spell in the gym or a dip in the pool which had the water temperature just right for us. No golf course but we do play golf. Although we did not need them I saw several convention rooms which also doubled as private dining areas for large parties. Breakfast is a mixed English and Continental style and a nice touch was that eggs were cooked to order instead of congealing on a hot plate. The main meal menu was a trifle limited but there was something for everyone. The staff were unfailing helpful and we will go back again very happily. od Alan B od Camberley England dana 08-09-2011
