Hotel in a great location. If you are a non smoker make sure they don't book on 2nd floor. Great breakfast which is included in hotel price. There is road noise so make sure your room doesn't face road. The hotel staff varies in service.

I normally stay near the airport when visiting Stuttgart, but due to an exhibition everything was sold out. I decided on the Best Western in Esslingen because it was available for the dates I needed and the price was decent. I was glad I did. Its location right next to the old city provided plenty of nice restaurants and a safe place to go for a walk […] after dinner. The large lobby bar was reasonably busy every night, and the food and service at the hotel restaurant were both very good. A taxi to the exhibition grounds (Messe) took about twenty minutes and the fare was around 32 Euros. Not cheap - but it was worth it to me to be able to stay in a place that offers a little taste of traditional Germany over the typical sterile business hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Prima hotel om te overnachten, prima ontbijt. Dat was het zeker voor ons doel, het bezoeken van het Oltimer Treffen op het vliegveld Hanhweide bij Kirchheim. Daardoor wel weinig tijd gehad om Esslingen zelf verder te ontdekken. Onder hotel is een parkeergarage waarvoor voor 10 euro per dag kan worden geparkeerd. Das moderne Hotel im schönen Esslingen (15 Minuten von Stuttgart) bietet ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Coole und gut besetzte Bar, freundliches Personal und ein grosses und leckeres Frühstücksbuffet runden den Aufenthalt ab.
