i have been to several hotels in carson city...none of them compare to the hampton. very nice, elegant rooms, fridge, microwave, down comforter and pillows...excellent hotel for the price

Even though this hotel is on the outskirts of Carson City it was easy to find and easy to get to any destination in a matter of minutes. The hotel was lovely, the room great and the service prompt and friendly. The only thing I would have like to see was another chair in the room besides the desk chair. We were concerned at first that lodging at Carson City would add needless drive time to our lake tahoe visit. Other than the luxurious hotels above 200 per night, all others leave much to be desired. Some are too noisy, smelly and old. We were relieved to see the elegance and value at the Hampton of Carson City. The drive to north lake Tahoe or even […] the vicinity is short enough, plus if one wants, one can take a short drive to Reno. But back to the hotel. it is a solid 4 to 5 star. i've been to almost every hotel in carson city...hamptom so far is the best i have stayed in. down comforters and pillows. classy. very clean. feel like you are in a luxury room. will definately stay there again

This hotel was one of the great family stays we had. The room was was clean, spacious and came with microwaves. This was unadvertised on hotels.com. The beds were very clean and soft, definitely a quality bed with very good pillows for a restful night sleep. We managed to make great use of the gym, though a bit underwhelming, but all the equipments […] were very well kept with gym towels in abundance. Our children had a great time on the pool which actually was not inundated with chlorine unlike other hotels. The jacuzzi was especially comforting after a long trip. This Hampton Inn is very well maintained!!! More than I expected! Price is so reasonable that I don't think you will be able to find another place which can beat that. Yes, Carlson City is a bit further away from south Lake Tahoe but the drive is reasonable. I like the clean environement and the friendly staff. The hotel is so cosy that you don't want to leave. The rooms have adequat size for a family of 4 and they are very clean. We are very satisfied every time we come. We liked eveything: the breakfast, the pool, the cozy loby/living room, the rooms...This hotel became pour getaway place!

My daughter had to have surgery in Carson city and we live hours away. This was a great place to stay, very close to the surgery center which was what we needed. Very clean a spacious rooms. The pool and spa was great as was the exercise room.

Big plus is they serve breakfast until 10am. Pool area is perfect. Stayed here because we had tickets to Polar Express Train. Not many restaurants nearby. Would stay here again

The hotel was priced very reasonably, the room was clean and the continental breakfast was wonderful. It had indoor heated pool and whirl pool and my kids loved spending time there while it was cold and raining outside! The bed was a bit too softer than we prefer, but overall it was an excellent place to stay. Highly recommend to everyone.

This was our first stay @ a Hampton and we were pleased with the room and the staff. The breakfast vas very good and the person staffing it was really nice. The room was clean & there was a shower door instead if a curtain (yea!!). Would've been nice to have a sitting chair though, but all in all a great place to stay!

Being there were two of us staying in the room, it would have been nice to have 2 chairs to sit in so one of us didn't have to sit on the bed. Otherwise, very nice.

Nice clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with lots of options and the bold coffee was good! I like outdoor pools better, but some kids were really enjoying it, and I guess it would be nice in winter months.

I was only there for a short over night stay but the staff was professional and helpful. The continental breakfast was very good and there was plenty to choose from. I would hightly recommend it to others including those with children.

Our first night we didn't have a very comfortable bed, however when I asked about the beds, the manager on duty put us in a King bed room. The bed was much more comfortable for our second night stay. Very nice continental breakfast. All in all a very pleasant stay in Carson City.
