Stayed at the Tropical Shores of the Tropical Beach resorts. NOT a luxurious stay, but what it IS is friendly, convenient, and relaxing - offering all the amenities for anyone who just wants to get away from a crowded city. Direct beach access, free dvd rentals (sign them in/out on a clipboard!), free towels & beach chairs (or you can rent loungers […] & umbrellas on the beach for full or half-day), bbq grills, pool, hot-dog/breakfast sandwich cart, shuffleboard, volleyball. We stayed in the mini-efficiency room that included a queen bed (felt a bit small), large standing shower & kitchenette (frig, stove, sink w/ pans, dishes, coffee machine, toaster). We could hear some rumblings from the neighbors, and a baby cry once or twice. Luckily our neighbors were mindful & respectful, and it wasn't an issue at all. You can also hear birds 7am-ish each morning. Separately, walking onto the beach there are a lot of shells, some of which were very sharp. There’s a free shuttle to the village (approx 10min away) but DON'T FORGET TO TIP the great drivers! Or locally, there's a 7-Eleven right across the street. There are 2 WONDERFUL restaurants: Javier's (Peruvian) & Miguel's (French) for dinner, and the open-air Sniki Tiki bar for live music. There's also a fish market right across the street and a full supermarket 2-4min down the street for grilling. "2 Bedroom Suite was perfect"
My family and I stayed in the two bedroom suite and it was beyond my expectations. The "apartment" was fantastic with a king bedroom and then two full beds in the other room. The kitchen was brand new and very inviting. The bathroom was a little small but well maintained. The room was part of a smaller set of rooms that made their own courtyard. You […] had a small table and chair outside your room and a great barbeque and eating area on the other side. The beach was very very close and lovely. You could either borrow chairs from the hotel or rent them at the beach. Lovely restaurants in the area and easy access on and off the key. We enjoy this hotel and have stayed here before. We like the location...at the quieter end of Siesta but still close enough. We found the rooms to be clean and updated from our visit in 2010. "The Perfect Getway"
We had an amazing one night getaway. We stayed at the Sarasea. The location was perfect! The manager gave us the best room in the resort. We had a one minute walk to a private beach. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet! The grounds were clean, the staff was very friendly, and our room had everything we needed and then some. They even had a ton […] of DVDS to check out for free so we were able to watch a movie at night. They have free HBO and WiFi. We were minutes away from The Village and Siesta Key Beach. I recommened eating at The Lobster Pot - it was wonderful! We will defintiely be back for another getaway weekend! We may even bring the kids next time! We do apologize for the lack of delivery from that local restautant...we hope to have that rectified soon. There are kitchens in all the rooms that we fully stock for guests to utilize while staying with us. Each room has a parking spot that is as close to the room as possible. The room 191 is a hideaway room tucked into the garden area. Many guests appreciate the privacy of the room and the seclusion of the patio. Each room has it's own patio with tables and chairs. There are differing sizes of rooms, so we hope that you let one of our front desk specialists aid in deciding what is the best option as we know the ins and outs of each room and building and assist in finding what suits your comfort and budget best! Taxis are really only available on an appointment basis; although, Siesta Key does have a number of fun, free ways to explore the island, such as surreys, electric golf carts and even some island pedi-cabs. They are a great way to take in the local sights and Siesta Key air! There are also scooter rentals, bike rentals, boat rentals and kayak rentals nearby for even greater adventure.

We really enjoyed staying here. It was very quiet and everyone was polite and helpful. The only complaint was that wifi service was poor. We'll stay there again if we get back to Sarasota.Autentične Hotels.com recenzije gostiju

"Tropical paradise"
Tropical Resorts is not four star however, for a beach hotel you really couldn't ask for more. The rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. "It was simply awesome, everything about it."
We were pleasantly surprised by how clean, friendly and beautiful it was there. This was one of the most satisfying places we have ever stayed in. "Room met every need & was spotless"
Wonderful-staff very attentative and room was expertly equipped and decorated for our comfort. Siesta Key is the greatest beach, laid back, uncrowded, and absolutely the best sand and water in the USA. Heated pool was super, despite record high temperatures during our visit 1/13. "A Really Great Hotel"
My wife and I found this place quite by accident through Hotels.com, and what a nice surprise. The staff was wonderful and accomodating, and the room was very specious and comfortable. We slept like babies in the King bed complete with Egyption Cotton sheets, and access to the unbelievable white sand beach was only about a 30 second walk from the room. Very nice room- grounds - customer service - proximity to ocean and heated pool. Walking distance to restaurants-drug store-grocery. Village for shopping and walking around. Sunday is a good day to do this because the craft/farmers market is open and one restaurant roasts a whole pig every Sunday. Tips only cabs are available for getting around the […] island. Everything, except the parking, is superb at this resort. Excellent beach access, beautiful and spacious rooms...so nice we booked an extra day. Only negative is that parking stalls are tight...tight...tight and it's hard to maneuver in and out of some of them.
