Arrived around 9:30 pm after driving 12 hours straight. The office was hard to find. There were holes in the parking lot big enough to break an axle if you were not careful. Many of them. Motorcycle gang hanging out. Was immediately induced to ask if my car would be ok in the parking lot. The place was a dump! Nothing like the pics in their article. […] Sent to a second floor room (smoking) and when I walked in and took my shoes off the carpet was soaked (on the second floor imagine that) soaking my socks immediately. The TV did not work. Went downstairs and the lady (at least she was very nice) moved me to the room next door. TV worked but when I turned the comforter down on the bed all of the sheets and blankets were stuffed down at the bottom of the bed, and could tell instantly that someone had slept there from the smell. At that point I was prepaired to leave, and not having been so tired I would have, went downstairs to the car and got a blanket I had, and a pillow, pulled the comforter up and threw the blanket over the bed and slept on that with my clothes ON. Honestly, I have been to 3rd world countries that had better motels. I couldn't wait to leave at 6:30 am the next morning. Yes I am a cheap skate, I am disabled, older with medical issues and due to being on a limited budget, I selected the cheapest room. So I guess I got what I asked for. We didn't have good experience at the previous stay but better at 2nd stay at this Super 8. The room we stayed in was cleaner, more space, and equiped with a microwave and a bigger refridgerator. This non-smoking room didn't smell like smoking one like previous stay. Parking was plenty but location was more like a truck drivers' station. We were approached […] by a tatoo driver asking for a ride to an opposite direction where we went. When we couldn't help because we have children in the car full of luggages and stuff, he approached closer and tried to convince some more. He eventually let us go with some grumbles. We booked this hotel based on its better rate. The room we stayed in was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled like smoking one. The room's cleaniness was below average (even for the price). We've had better ones even at other Super 8s. The surrounding neiborhood is like a truck-driver station rather than family vacation's stay.

For the price, you can't really beat it. I had a problem though. I reserved my room for two nights. Stayed the first night, woke up, had breakfast then returned to my room. What I found waiting for me was a bed bug, ruby red with blood. Not wanting to make a big deal out of it (since they had become somewhat of an epidemic lately), I put the bug in […] a plastic baggy, got ready for the day, packed my things, and went up to the front desk. Told the attendant what I found and showed her. She then tried to tell me that they were trained and this wasn't a bed bug.. Really? Do you want me to bring up 1000+ pictures of them on my phone? I know what a bed bug looks like. Anyways, I called hotels.com and explained my situation and was given a prompt refund. Great service through the website, but the hotel was kinda shaky. For the money this was a good value. Wireless internet worked, ice machine close by. Parking in front of room makes loading/unloading easy. Room appeared clean, in-room coffee machine made individual servings.

My biggest concern was the entry door to my room from the parking lot. It was quite obvious that w someone had/did break into the room. Made me a little uneasy about leaving personal belongings in the room when I was out and about. No need to worry, tho, and overall it was a good stay.

We made reservations at this Super 8 due to it's location for traveling from Pittsburgh to Chicago. We knew we would be driving at night and checking in late. Upon arriving at 3:15 am and very much desiring to just go to my room with my wife and 3 kids, I went to check in. I was told I would have to wait for 5-10 minutes because the clerk was in the […] middle of an "audit". She had my reservation and a room was available but I would have to wait. I said that was unbelievable and simply asked if I could have my room keys but she refused and said I would have to wait until she was done. After 15 minutes, she then went to check me in but said my expedia reservation had declined my credit card. When pressed as to how, I could have a reservation but be declined she then claimed she would have to call someone to check me in. She proceeded to do that (called 3 people before she got a hold of someone) and from what I could tell it was simply a matter of fixing something from her "audit" because I hadn't been checked in before she did it. Desk Clerk was very nice and helpful. There was one towel for each and it was dirty/badly stained as were the wash cloths. Sorry, I couldn't get beyond that. Glad it was only a one night stay.

... Maybe the oddest place we've ever stayed. The motel is located in the middle of a vast expanse of concrete and gravel, near (but not accessible via) a highway. You have to get there by weaving through farm roads. There is a trucker's lounge in front of the hotel. There's live music on Saturdays, by the way, and the band we listened to until the […] wee hours was enthusiastic, if not very good. The vast majority of the clientele was truckers - which is fine with us - they were quiet and polite and no problem, but you DO get the hum of diesel engines all night. The room was technically CLEAN, but it smelled musty. The bathroom was extremely clean (a very important issue). This is an older property, and it shows in things like patched doors. Except for the aforementioned trucker's lounge, there is nothing terrifically close except a Pilot Truck Stop. There are stores, restaurants, etc. within about 15 miles. Breakfast was very, very basic - coffee, English muffins and 2 kinds of cereal. The price was reasonable enough, and we needed a place to stay in that area on very short notice, so I'm glad we were able to book the room. While we were quite comfortable for one night's stay, I would not recommend this hotel for anything more than that. It is not conveniently located to anything except the highway. There is not sufficient room to enjoy the breakfast....only one table and a sofa. The pillows were hard. It is a reasonably clean place to sleep after a long drive.

This is certainly a case where the photos are deceiving. There is nothing around this hotel except highway and truckstops - seriously. The rooms smelled.

Had easy access to my activity on the east side of Toledo. The room was damp with a musty smell. The smell was gone after running the AC and the bathroom fan for a couple days. There was plenty of room for me and my stuff. I needed additional wall outlets for my charging equipment for my racing batteries and cell phone. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. My room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable. Granted, the entire property could use some TLC and some upgrading, but for the incredible, reasonable price, I can overlook some of the cosmetic issues.

You get what you pay for. There we not many hotels in the area but the room rate was low. The pillows were worn out and flat. The carpet was dirty. The room was musty. The window curtains were about to fall off the wall. I told the clerk about the curtains and they did not seem to care. I would not stay again unless it was the only place around.

Room was dirty! In fact, so dirty that I borrowed the maids vacuum and physically vacuume the room myself. There was a smell that resembled a nursing home and even with Febreze it would not go away. There were brown stains running down the bathroom wall (coffee- I think/hope). And, I requested a crib- it was not ready when we checked in. They cleaned […] it off and delivered it to the room… it had metal wires sticking out the top that were a hazard and it had electrical tape around some of the spindles. This little hotel was a BIG surprise. The maids take pride in clean rooms, the check-in was quick, my room was ready, the rooms are clean and quiet! Only issue is GPS sends customers to wrong side of freeway. Talked to the staff and they said that has been an issue they have tried to correct with not much luck! I can't really complain about my stay here. I was traveling with a few buddies, and for 4 college guys, cheap is all we wanted. Quality could take a seat, but it didn't. With this motel, we got a really cheap price, and everything we could expect for it. The amenities were basic, but handy. The location was a little secluded, but worth the drive for […] the money. I personally would stay here again, if I'm still unemployed and looking for something cheap. It's also a great place to stay if you're going to Cedar Point for a weekend, but not if you're looking for a relaxing weekend at a resort.
