Dar Al Masyaf Madinat Jumeirah - Dubai

One of our favorite hotels to visit in Dubai. But unfortunately, one bad incident that happened is that they lost our bags upon arrival and couldn't locate where exactly the bags were! I understand it is a big hotel but the ridiculousness of the delay kind of ruined the first day for us.

The staff can't do enough for you, the beds are almost too comfortable (only the sunshine outside was enough to make us get up!). All round a fabulous stay. Just not long enough, we'll be back!

Beautiful hotel and setting. Excellent service. Access to kids club, Wild Wadi, beach, gym (though at a different hotel on the property). Primary drawback I found was the food available at the beach restaurant/poolside was not that great - limited menu and very expensive. We got very tired of our lunch options.

Check in was not so smooth, we requested a twin bed room and had a king bed room at first although twin rooms were available and we moved after talking to them. The buggy service is fun but sometimes you wait more than 10 minutes. Ohterwise the hotel, service and staff were fantastic and I will difenetley stay again.

Dar Al Mayaf is of Jumaira chain hotels is a nice place, the major problem is that you have to wait for a good while before reaching the lobby for the buggy or water taxi (Abraa) at some point i waited for more than 15 min, the service was not as expected as i stayed in Al Qaser and Mina A' Salam before and everything was perfect rooms were spotless, […] the room we stayed in was far from the lobby, needed maintainance, we couldn't open the curtains ourselfs, the A/C filter was blocked, butler could've been more informative and nicer. We stayed at Arabian Summerhouse, one of the villas. Although the villa was full, the whole stay was very quiet and relaxing. The private beach was a few steps away from the villa. As you walk into the beach, the waiter escorted us to the beach chairs and set them up nicely with pillows and towels. You can order any drinks you want and they will bring […] them to your side table. The water was so clean and blue and warm like a hot tub. The view of elegant Burj Al Arab perfects the scenery. It was just grand. The bathroom was spacious. It was almost as big as the bedroom. I loved that walk-in closet in the bathroom. We spent most of our time at the beach and the bathroom. Alcohol is expensive in Dubai. (1 pint glass of beer will be around 45AED or about US$12) Happy hour is provided at each villa from 6 to 8pm every night. It is open bar and equipped with decent selections. This is the time for the people at the villa to get together and exchange information on must sees and eats. There are numbers of restaurants and bars at the mail hotel building and no need to get out of the resort to eat. We are planning to stay for a week at the same villa on our next visit. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure that all my needs were met. And the place is absolutely gorgeous. I went to The Burj Al Arab for dinner and to see what all the hype was about, and I think that I would rather stay at Madinat Jumeira even if they cost the same. We have stayed here on 3 occasions, each being in June/July. That alone shows how impressed we are with this hotel. This is the perfect stop off destination on the way to Europe (from Australia), or even as a stand alone holiday as we have recently done. As perfect as the setting is, and the buildings/waterways/facilities/gardens, the people really […] make this place probably the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We chose this place over other beach destinations due to offering as much, if not more, for the relaxing holiday component, and also extensive shopping and sight seeing options a $10 taxi journey away. Just a few things that could be improved. 1. Unlimited bottled water is available free in the rooms, but on the beach you have to pay for it. It doesn't make sense why you can't simply state your room number. Instead you must pack enough for the day, or go back to the room. Beach staff provide ice buckets so no problem in heat. 2. Wireless internet access is patchy. Couldn't get it next to Jetty on beach. 3. Breakfast buffet is expensive if don't have half board. Quality is amazing, but I think $50 p.p is excessive, $30 p.p is reasonable. 4. Half board is worth it, but this year, more and more of the restaurants have a supplement of 150 AED or 250 AED per person. Choice is okay with no supplement charges (Al Hambra, Rivington Grill, Arboretum buffet. Make sure you make use of other Jumeirah hotels too such as Al Nafoorah at Zabeel Saray, which is excellent. Our stay at the dar al masyaf (3rd visit) was superb, as ever. The Arabian architecture is wonderful, the facilities excellent (access to wild wadi, the numerous pools across the resort) and the food of a very high quality. Staff are very friendly and the whole resort is very kid friendly

This was our 4th trip to Dubai. We looked forward to going and were not diappointed. the half board option whihc allowed you to take dinner at a number f restaurants across the Jameira hotels was a new one to us and we were able to explore some new restaurants which proved to be a real find. I am sure other regular visitors already knew about them but […] we were delighted and returned for repat visits....Sagreto, carnivale, MJs and a visit to the Zabeel hotel on the pal to the curry restaurant which was a great exprience. the Dar al masyaf is always a super experience. The staff look after you well and the grounds are so pretty. Travelling between the hotal and different restaurants by abra and/or beach buggy only adds to the sense of occasion in the evening. Had the most amazing stay at the villas of Dar Al Masyaf Madinat Jumeirah. Amazing staff who could not do enough for us! Very polite and always available with a smile and a greeting. Loved the buggies and water abras available for transport around the resort. Lots of restaurants available, always had fabulous food. Very comfortable rooms, cleaned twice […] a day. Happy hour every evening. Free entry to WIld Wadi waterpark which is lots of fun, and able to use facilities at the other hotels in the Jumeriah group. Beautiful grounds. Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay, would definately reccommed it to anyone wishing to stay in Dubai. The resort has a free shuttle to Mall of Emirates where you can get the train from, but very reasonable to get taxis around. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The rooms, restaurants, food, facilities, level of service (from all staff) was impeccable. We stayed 10 nights and would have easily stayed longer. This was my second time at the hotel, this time we took advantage of the great deal for the Arabian Summer House, which included our own butler, complimentary breakfast, transport to the hotel and free evening drinks from 6pm to 8pm. The hotel is just sheer luxury with buggy or Abra ( Arabic boat) to take you to the restaurants, souk and Tallise Spa. […] The service is the best we have encountered anywhere in the world, nothing is too much trouble and you are treated like royalty each and every day. We had heard that Tiger woods had also stayed in the Summer Houses too, so say no more!! At night the hotel comes alive with its array of restaurants and live bands and entertainment in the souk and has such a great atmosphere. The food is amazing and with the strong Aussie Dollar everything is extremely affordable. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be pampered and have a stress free holiday. We just wish we had booked a week there, but three nights is a good stop over option. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the service is excellent. We only had one afternoon and night here because we were on a layover, but loved every minute of it. You get spectacular views of the Burj Al Arab light show at night. The cocktail party the butler throws for your villa is also quite fun.

두바이는 2번째 방문이었습니다. 작년에 두바이에 대한 기억이 너무 좋아 올해 또 방문했는데요. 리조트형 호텔을 가고 싶어 선택한 곳이 마디낫 주메이라 리조트였습니다. 이 리조트 내에 호텔형, 빌라형 등등으로 나뉘는데 저희는 빌라형인 달 알 마스야프를 택했죠. 인공으로 만들어진 수로를 따라 배를 타고 리조트를 돌아도 20분 가까이 걸리더군요. 프라이빗 비치와 수영장, 버기(골프칠때 타는 차)를 타고 리조트를 구경할 수 있구요. 정말 너무 아름다워서 낮이고 밤이고 배를 타고 리조트 안을 돌아다녔어요. 관광객들에겐 유료지만 투숙객들은 공짜입니다. 빌라내에 모든 예약을 도와주는 비서가 있어서 외출한다면 배나 버기를 불러줍니다. […] 빌라 1층에서 저녁시간엔 와인,맥주,음료와 간단한 안주가 무료구요. 리조트 내에 수많은 레스토랑과 전통시장인 수크도 있어 굳이 밖에 나가지 않아도 리조트 내에서 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다. 모든 사람들이 다 친절하고 멋진 이곳. 꼭 다시 가고 싶은 곳이예요. 휴양과 관광을 원한다면 이 호텔을 특히 달알마쓰야프를 꼭 추천하고 싶네요. Das Dar Al Masyaf ist ein einzigartiges Hotel. Ich würde auf jedenfalls HP buchen falls möglich, es lohnt sich . Wir waren mit allem rundum zufrieden,wobei es dennoch wenige minus Punkte gab: Falls jemand auf helle freundliche Zimmer wert legt sollte er keines falls in den Villas 12,13,14..... wohnen die Zimmer dort sind urig arabisch und dunkel eingerichtet […] (absolut nicht mein Geschmack) Villa 1-11 haben eine moderne helle arabische Einrichtung (absolut schön)!!! Das zweite problem war meines Erachtens die Knappheit der Buggys wir warteten an vielen Tagen morgens teilweise 30 min auf ein Buggy, was bei dieser Anlage sehr schade und eine echte Zeitverschwendung darstellt. Aber sonst kann mann den Service und das Personal nirgends woanders in dieser Qualität auffinden( in Dubai). Pročitajte više

８月に５日滞在しました。暑いのは覚悟の上だったので許容範囲。ただ、ラマダンにかさなり夜８時まで酒類の提供が禁止されており、酒飲みには辛かった。ラマダンのせいか、暑すぎるせいか、町中もホテルも比較的すいていて過ごしやすかったです。ホテルは４人家族には広すぎるくらいのお部屋で１日２回のハウスキーピングが入りコテージごとに２４時間コンシェルジュもいて快適そのものでした。

とにかくアラビアの豪華な世界を実現したような世界でした。 バトラーさんの細かな対応と、サプライズなサービスもあり、大変満足しました。 キングベッドの部屋に３名予約を入れましたが、エキストラベッドを用意してくれていましたし、 それでも部屋は想像より広く、とても快適でした。 また、チェックアウト後でもホテルのプール等の施設を当日限り利用できることを説明してくれるなど、 サービスも満足です。
