Great welcome and service which was genuine. Room was lovely as well the total environment! Enjoyed th eating places and the wonderful view at the roof top terrace lounge while having a drink at dusk...They even offered bottles of cold water upon leaving!!

Bab Al Shams is a great experience but since its take over it seams that the room charge is cheaper but all the original free extra are now charged for plus drinks and food seem to be a little more expensive, but still a great place to stay with great staff and accomadation.

Beautiful hotel away from the city and a beautiful drive from the busy life of Dubai. Make sure you call for directions before you travel there (unless of course you have GPS handy).

Arriving just after a sandstorm had passed through we unfortunately didn't see the hotel quite at it's best. Although the outside areas resembled a building site and all the pools were closed the staff did a very good clean-up job. The roof-top bar opened the same night, the smaller of the two main pools and next morning and the larger pool later that […] day. A gentleman who we assume to be the manager approached everyone the next day to explain the situation and what was happening. He was very nice. This situation was unavoidable and one would suppose this should not come as too big as a surprise for anyone booking a hotel in the desert. Unfortunately the childrens' pool and play area was not re-opened during our three day stay meaning the two year old in our party could not take advantage of this. We ate at the Indian and buffet restaurants and would recommend both - good food and excellent service. The Breakfast was excellent and at lunch we were given the option of having one course at a reduced price. We liked the rooms and housekeeping kept them immaculate. Service was really only disappointing at the roof top bar though this only applies to some of the staff. On our last night we ended up going up to the bar to order our food ourselves. The bar in itself is a terrific place to relax in the evening and the entertainment was really enjoyable). Two of us utilised the spa and give that a thumbs up. I don't understand the raving reviews for this resort. I have been in many hotels with 4 or 5 stars. But this one did not live up to my expectations. The reception is not very knowledgable (Russian girls) and certainly not service minded. They even go in discussion with customers. The restaurants and catering are at best okay. At the rooftop bar they […] make poor cocktails. And the breakfast was amusing. Coffee took forever. Staff did not clean up tables. No napkin was given. No fresh juices. Some positive points: some staff really try hard, the pool is very nice, so are the rooms and the resort as a whole looks tasteful. Conclusion: the resort is overrated and overpriced. Bab-Al-Shams really is a desert oasis a world away from the hubub of Dubai city. とにかくホテルが広くで部屋に行くまでが迷路みたいでした！ 部屋も広くて快適だったし、朝食もとてもおいしくて満足でした。 もうちょっと安かったらもっといいのにな～ということで総合満足度は４にしてます。 でも本当に満足度の高いホテルでぜひオススメです！

砂漠に突如現れるアラビアンスタイルのホテル、ホテルのロビー、部屋、レストラン、すべてがアラビックに統一されていてとても素敵です。プールから見渡せる広大な砂漠は日常を忘れさせてくれます。夕方にホテルのオプショナルのキャメルライディングに参加しました、１時間ラクダにゆられながら夕日を眺めるのは、まさにアラビアンナイトの世界を楽しめます。 施設、スタッフの質共に申し分無です。今回、家族３名で宿泊の為トリプルが不可で３名で２室を手配した為に価格は倍になりましたが、砂漠のリゾートを満喫する数少ないチャンスなのでとても良かったです。是非にお勧めします。
