We have stayed in most of the top places in Ubud and the Chedi is by far the best overall. It is a little way out of Ubud but that is not a problem as there is a free transport from the hotel to the town any time you want up to 6.00 pm. The meeting upon arrival and the butler service is an excellent servise to guests. The Chedi is located in rice fields […] and is on 5 acres of land. There are only 20 villas and you feel that you are the only guest in the hotel. The afternoon tea and cocktails are wonderful as is the food served in the dining room overlooking the rice fields. If you want to get away from it all, be treated with the upmost hospitality, enjoy fabulous spa treatments, and dine in a beautiful, open-air restaurant right on a lovely rice paddy, then The Chedi Club Hotel is the place for you. Not only are the 19 self-contained villa rooms […] beautiful maintained, but the grounds which surround the entire hotel are also impeccable. The hotel is located just outside Ubud, the cultural center of Bali, with free shuttle service into Ubud any time of the day. Also offered at the hotel is any type of private tour you might like to do on Bali - from half-day to full-day excursions. From the moment we got there until the day we left, we couldn't have received better service than what was provided by The Chedi Club. The entire staff knew who we were and greeted us by name any time we saw them. An unbelievable experience. And, to top it off, included in the price of the room was a wonderful, full-service breakfast, a fully stocked mini-bar in our villa, high tea, a free cocktail hour before dinner, a butler on call, and free shuttle service to and from the airport. Each evening a special Balinese style dinner was part of the menu selection, and was most reasonable priced. The driver was open to dropping us by at the shops, although we were just craving to rest in hotel so didn't pick up the offer.We checked-in a little earlier, around 12pm. The location is almost perfect, near to trip advisor-recommended spas and the legendary Ubud market. Our personal butler will arrange for private transport pick up to and from hotel and the Ubud market area. We loved it that our butler will prepare the room for night and do up the room for day letting in the sun daily. Its very sweet and totally pampering. This hotel is stunning & exceeded our expectations in many ways. Although it is expensive the number of complimentary services you receive while there make it well worth it. On arrival you are greeted by your own personal butler who is there to help you with any aspect of your stay, showing you your room and checking in with you daily as to when to […] clean your room, if you need transport or help planning activities etc. Our butler took us for a walk through rice paddies & local town which was just fantastic. Although breakfast is not buffet style (choice of 1 of 3 diff style breakfasts) allot of food is brought out for you. The restaurant is in the most amazing setting surrounded by rice paddies. All drinks & food in the mini-bar are free, as are drinks by the pool, afternoon tea & happy hour. The shuttle service takes you anywhere you want to go & picks you up at an arranged time. So it doesn't matter it isn't close to the main shopping streets & restaurants in Ubud. Our room was nice, a good size with a large comfortable bed, desk & daybed but could have better lighting as was a bit dark. Rooms have a deck area with a small table & chairs however these are not private & other guests & staff can see you when sitting outside. The gym & yoga studio looks over the rice fields & free yoga class is excellent with a brilliant yoga instructor. The gym has all the equipment you would need only they need matts for stretches and sit ups. Overall though would thoroughly recommend. Pročitajte više

Bien situé vers le centre de l'ile, permet de rayonner facilement sans être systématiquement pris dans les bouchons routiers de la côte. Nous y sommes restés 4 nuits. Das Chedi ist kein Hotel - es ist ein Landsitz - und so wird man auch behandelt. Man ist persbnlicher Gast und kein Touri. Ansonsten Bali das Mallorca von Südostasien!
