It was a good experience aside from the fact that it took us almost 3 hours to check in they've tried to compensate it with Welcome drinks and Late check out.

We got a three bedroom suite and it was just perfect for our big family. The suite is very spacious and the beds are comfortable with premium beddings. The room service of the hotel is superb as the staff are very accommodating and polite. I like it how there is an HSBC bank just outside the lobby of the hotel, you can save the international withdrawal fee if you withdraw cash here. The one bedroom suite is spacious and makes a great "home away from home" when in Manila on business. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The newly renovate rooms are world class, but even the original rooms are clean and comfortable. What really sets Discovery apart though is the service. I work nights when in Manila and they remembered that from my last stay 8 months ago and arranged the maid/service scheudle to never interrupt my sleep and clean my room in the middle of the night when I was at work. Our family of 4 (2 small children) stayed for 18 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and quick to assist. The hotel has a well appointed gym and spa, as well as a staffed children's play room, all of which we found very valuable in adding an extra level of enjoyment to our stay. The hotel is very well located opposite the Podium 5 level up-market shopping complex but also within 10 minutes walk of the SM Mega Mall and Robinson Galleria shopping complexes, which offer just about everything at very cheap prices. Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We chose this one as we were attending a wedding which was being held close by. If you are looking to visit the old part of Manila it is about an hours drive from the hotel due to heavy traffic. The hotel is opposite the Podium shopping Mall

I stayed overnight before my lunch flight from NAIA. The staff was excellent and friendly, the room was very well kept and clean. I only hated looking out the window at another building, but it looks like that is only on one side. Other than that, I look forward to returning soon!
