"Alil over priced for what it was"

We stayed for New Years Eve so spent very little time in the room. However, the floor was being remodeled so it was in disarray. "Great off-season option"
Not fancy but perfectly serviceable, especially in the off-season. Staff was really friendly and the fridge/microwave in the room was nice to have. We were only in OC for about 24 hours. We had planned it after Labor day because we knew it would be less crowded and less expensive. We asked for a 12 noon checkout so we could go swimming in the pool or the ocean and have time to come back to the hotel for showers and checkout but they were too full to allow us to do that. We had a great time. Sea Bay Hotel is close to many attraction in Ocean City and very close to the beach. Our son and his 2 daughters were able to keep themselves occupied while (pop and I) rested. Good location(close to all must-see sights) and has a swimming pool. But the front desk reception was not warm and inviting. The hotel is outdated and needs a new look(face lift). Didn't feel comfortable even with just the exterior photo of the hotel from the internet. "VERY Nice!!"
We were only there for 1 night, but found the hotel and property to be VERY nice! Staff very friendly and acccomodating, the location was great and the pool was very nice and very clean. Our only complaint is that the mattresses on the beds and pull out sofa sleeper were terrible . We had 6 people in our room - 4 adults and 2 children. ALL complained […] about the mattresses being extremely uncomfortable and we all had a very restless night. We were leaving the next morning and made for a very long drive home.. we were all tired and cranky from not sleeping the night before. When I first checked in I was given a room on the first floor. Needless to say it was right next to the pool! Pool hours were 9AM - 9PM. Well the evening hours were fine but morning hours were not. I was told by the front desk that they were all booked up. I could not change rooms. I watched as my stay came to a close and the sign out front never said […] NO Vacancy! "Needs better Housekeeping"
Very nice lobby but the upkeep ended there. Hallways were dark with carpet that looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. The room was large but again, carpeting was not clean and was wet in places, the room smelled moldy and had to clean crumbs off the table. The tub needs to be replaced and when looking under the bed for a lost toy, found […] empty water bottles and lots of dust and other small garbage. The sink in the kitchenette is covered with calcium deposits. The drapes were ripped in places. Sofa bed mattress was very thin and uncomfortable but the double beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean. Air conditioner was loud and didn't keep the room very cool. This could be a nice place with more attention paid to the cleaning and upkeep. The desk staff were very friendly and a request for extra blankets was promptly fulfilled. Small outside pool was clean with plenty of chairs. Good location with access to the beach and bay with stores and restaurants within walking distance. Great location; easy to get to and parking convenient. Lobby and public areas well maintained and rooms were clean. Do not expect frills; sparce furnishing (read college dorm) but comfortable beds and very clean bathroom. I'm not sure you can beat this hotel for value. Pool looked nice although I didn't use it. We really enjoyed our stay at the Sea Bay. Our room in the West building was clean and spacious, and actually overlooked a second, smaller, more private hotel pool. "good location in the middle of everything"
I enjoyed the Seabay because the location was great for a family trip. Eventhough it was on the bay side, it was pretty much in between the resort side and hotel side of OC. Majority of the staff was friendly, the hotel was pretty quiet, and security was always watching the hotel and parking lot so I was comfortable about parking and leaving my car […] to shop and go to the beach. My only complaint was the pools were small and the room could have been a little cleaner, but overall the stay was great! THe hotel is conveniently located right off of 90. THe staff was very friendly....always saying hello and holding the door open for you. The room was sparkling clean and smelled good. Thanks Dorcel!! We just had to cross the street to go to the beach or we could go right outside and dip in the very clean pool. "Nice hotel for the price"
I went with 2 small children. Our "neighbors" were loud partying boys. Right away we went down and asked for our room to be switched. The staff and security immediately said it would be taken care of. And it was! Rooms are spacious.
