We booked a junior ste. The overall impression was SHABBY...loose tiles on floor- furniture was beyond antique....Bathroom was modern. Our Dinner was wonderful but as in most of Europe smoking is permitted outdoors. We had no control over the people at nearby tables who choose to smoke. Breakfast is not incl...and not worth 17 Euros per person.

Our experience in this hotel was a positive one. Beautiful building, garden and swimming pool. We stayed at a Charme room that was simple but tastefully decorated. However we were on the 2nd floor over the kitchen and it was noisy. Another weak point is the breakfast: their buffet does not offer a wide selection of food and it is exactly the same every […] day. We found that 17EUR per person is definitely too expensive for what they offer. If you can hold your morning hunger, do get out of Mazan for breakfast. "Interesting place"
The Chateau de Mazan is a good place to saty at when visiting the Provence. The chateau used to be owned by the family de Sade -indeed the best known for the writer Marquis de Sade. Although the chateau was actually owned by his uncle, the famous Marquis did spend some of his time there, writing his literature. The ambiance is interesting, rooms are […] nice, and the hotel has a swimming pool and apparently an excellent restaurant, but I can not vouch for the restaurant, because it is closed on Mondays, the day I was staying at the hotel. A 20 km du Lubéron, cette ancienne demeure de marquis de Sade offre tout les plaisirs: les chambres toutes originales sont meublées avec gout, les salles de bains sont toutes originales et le restaurant en terrasse est magnifique, y compris pour les petit déjeuners.
