Sunbeam Hotel Pattaya - Pattaya

I really like this hotel. I would stay there again and again. It was located just off the beaten path, which gave it a quiet touch. The hotel itself is in really good shape. The swim-up bar in the pool was a nice extra!

Stayed here one night while working two weeks in bangkok as a weekend getaway. I found the condition of the hotel to be nice and upscale. Seems newer or remodeled not too far back. Rooms are attractive with hardwood floors and big jacuzzi style bath. No complaints at all. I did not eat here or deal with much of the hotel outside of using the room. But […] for a room in the $100usd price range, I found it to be great. It's in the middle of downtown where the beach is close, restaurants, bars, and any other entertainment. the pictures posted by the hotel is atually only of th lobby wich has been renovated.. the rooms are actually dingy and dilapidated. dont look at the pics and get misguided.

you get what you pay for, small room dreadful service. Receptionist call up after I checked in to tell me it will cost 2,000 bht per guest which is unheard of. I checked out soon after because it sounded like a scam.

No proper room service and they initially gave a small room than the one which we booked. Later we requested for a change. Overall did not like it.

I was a little doubtful about the positive reviews that I've read on this thread. Since I was pressed for time, I decided to go ahead and book my stay at Sunbeam Hotel. I have to admit, the hotel and their staff far exceeded my expectations. The room that I received was equivalent to Las Vegas 4 star hotel. It was truly as advertised from the photos […] I've seen on this tread. The hotel staff was super friendly and very professional in every business way. During my 4 night stay there, I had the opportunity to chat with them and get to know more about them and their culture. Their warm friendly smiles kept me coming back to chat with them... As for the location, the hotel is on Sois 8 street. It's super CONVENIENT location and within walking distance to most places in Pattaya. The beach access is only 3 minutes away. The Walking Street is about 30 minutes away depending on how fast you walk (there are many distractions along the way, know what I mean? wink). You can walk to Hilton Festival Center (mall) within 5 minutes. The extra hotel amenities that I like are the safe to store/lock up your personal belongings. Majority of other hotels don't offer it. So, it was nice that they had it. If you are into swimming pool and fitness gym, they have it too! Overall, my hotel experience was very positive. In fact, I even told them I will recommend it to all my friends. That's how strongly i feel about this hotel. Go book the room with Sunbeam Hotel!! Pročitajte više

Pattaya is a nice place to visit but it is more like a Costa Del Sol sort of place. Lots of British old men living there, mainly due to the sex industry which seems to be everywhere. Its about one and a half hour bus ride from Bangkok airport and finding transportation from the airport is really straight forward. The hotel is in a very central location […] in Pattaya, a short walk to the beech (though it very busy, recommend heading to South beech a couple of miles away but easy to get to on the Van-buses). The hotel staff were extremly freindly and helpful. My mate left his passport on the bus down from Bangkok and the Hotel staff went out of their way to retrieve it. Even travelled to the bus station the next day to get it (Like most places I've visited, if you learn the greetings and use them respectfully the locals really appreciate it). There are major shopping centres and resturants nearby, all very western if your scared of trying the local food. And lots to see (Make sure you mine your vaulables, as it is a very busy place). Checkout Budda Hill day & night for its wonderful statues and views. There are multiple Scuba diving and Watersports to choose from. If you want to island hop, then you can use Pattaya as a base. The hotel itself was a nice experience and the location was a little hard to find. Breakfast was eccellent, but there was a lot of music until 0400 in the morning from the bars outside. So if you have problem with that, find another hotel. Staff was great. We will stay there again if we go down to Pattaya next year. Near too Central Festival mall & beach Road, Just walking distance. Mc Donalds, pizza or Burger King, Donauts all r thr near to Hotel in a single Central Mall. Tour desk infront of hotel. 24Hr store front of hotel. Good place to stay.

This hotel is very clean and a good deal for the price. Location is good too, right in the middle of pattaya about a block or 2 to the beach. Also has a fitness center which seems uncommon for thailand hotels

호텔 위치가 주로 노는 곳들과는 거리가 있더군요. 걷기도 썽태우를 타기도 애매한 거리. 워킹스트릿에서 호텔까지 썽태우로 200밧 정도, 티파니쇼까지 200밧 정도 듭니다. 걸어서 볼 만한 데는 한산한 해변가 정도? 애매함. 객실이나 시설은 무난하구요. 공항-호텔, 호텔-방콕 리무진서비스가 꽤 비싸고, 다른 바가지도 좀 있네요, 조식도 약간 별로고, 주변은 시끄러워요. 주변에 별로 놀 곳도 없는데 시끄러운게 흠. 그래도 객실마다 베란다가 있어서 좋아요 ^^
