The staff was very helpful and they upgraded our room for us for free.It is a ways from the touristy things but was quite for the evening. I book the hotel Via expedia and the picture I made a reservation versus the one I got in the actual check in is different. I choses the standard since it was a bigger in the picture and I got the smaller version. the hotel is 9 minutes walk from the Metro and not much restaurants around it. there is but not much. good for the price though.

Great location, staff, and very clean and reasonably priced. Metro near by to get every where. Buy the 10 trip pass, saves money. Pretty equidistant from major cites: Plaza Catalunya, Plaza Espana, Park Montjuic, Park Geull, and Sagrada Familia.

Hotel is close to metro station which is only 1 stop from an interchange. Rooms were clean and not too noisy. (Apart from when people in upstairs room flushed!) The area is quiet with mostly local shops and restaurants. Was a good place at a reasonable price for us given it was a quick break and we didn't spend much time in the hotel.

I liked the hotel. The room, although a bit smallish for me, was very normal for a European hotel, and had a fridge. The windows faced the small inner yard and the wall opposite was in about 30 ft. which was too close but the curtains helped. Good soundproofing - couldn't hear anything except very rare voices in the corridor.

Very nice hotel. Beds are extremely comfortable. Nice balcony. Massive bathroom with 2 sinks. My only gripe is that the free wi-fi doesn't go in to each room so sometimes you have to stand in the hall to get a signal. I'll definitely stay here again.

Zenit Conde de Borrell was just three blocks from one Metro stop. It is in a quiet neighborhood, yet still had plenty of restaurants and cafes withing a few block radius. The hotel was clean, and the staff very helpful. Most staff were bilingual (English/Spanish).

Comfortable room . Good service and decent breakfast buffet . Well located close to Hospital Clinic metro .Has a good air conditioner which is handy given the weather in Barca . Overall , good value for money . I would certainly recommend this.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room are very modern (with a large bathroom). Good location for downtown, fairly close to a subway stop. Nothing around that is within walking distance to do, but negated by the fact that it's close to downtown by subway. Great value for the price, I would use this again as a base.

My husband and I traveled for 15 days through Italy and Spain, stayed in few hotels that did not deserve to be rated 4 stars; but Zenit hotel is really a 4 star. it s nice, clean, offer comfort and the staff was very nice. The hotel itself is clean and modern. The staff were helpful and polite with good English. The WiFi was fast and easy to access. Location was good; close to metro, a fairly quiet street with a supermarket nearby and some cafes for a nice strong coffee in the mornings. However we were disappointed with the size of the rooms. We requested to move rooms […] as our original room on the 2nd floor was miniscule, had a broken air con/heating system, a lightbulb out in the bathroom plus the window looked out onto a wall only a few metres away which made the room very dark and the lack of air moving through the windows could be awful in summer months. Our second room was much brighter, on the 5th floor and slightly bigger but still tiny and looked out onto a school playground which was a little noisy in the mornings. Sadly both rooms had quite large and noticeable holes in the bed sheets and holes in the bath towels. Although everything was clean, it just looked a little tatty. The cleaners are very enthusiastic and have a tendency to really belt the walls with their hoovers in the mornings so don't expect a lie in! Also research some nice restaurants and bars before you go as the hotel bar and restaurant rarely opens! No Sky TV either so unless you're fluent Spanish bring alternative entertainment! This hotel would be fine for business travellers but not good for families or couples. We were on a mini honeymoon after our wedding expecting something upmarket. It wasn't. Pročitajte više

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel staff was very nice and spoke English. The beds and pillow were not very comfortable but room was very clean and the location was great. It's only a block and a half away from the Metro which was very easy to get to and use.

It's within walking distance and quite easy to find one's way from Sants station, but not particularly conveniently placed for Metro stations. Hotel room was clean, quiet and well-equpped. Good-sized bathroom, but the room itself, although sold as a double was the smallest i have ever had. Even with single occupancy it was cramped, nowhere to sit, no space apart from under bed for suitcase. Plenty of larger rooms wer left empty. Not value for money at the high price paid.

Good hotel with helpful staff, conveniently located just outside the tourist core of Barcelona. The rooms were well sized and clean with good en-suite bathroom. However, the parking situation is a nightmare. Incredibly tight turns to get in and manoeuvre and tiny spaces to park. I damaged the car on entry and so spent the next three nights worrying […] how to get in out again without further damage. In the event, in trying to get out of the parking spot I ended up able to go neither backwards of forwards. Finally an employee came to my rescue and telephoned the front desk to get another car moved so that I in turn cold move. Fortunately the owner of the car was still in the hotel and I was thus able to get out without further damage. I shudder to think of the problems if the car owner was not available. and to add insult to injury they charge ( at the time of writing) €16 per night for the parking. I came to this hotel after 4 days in a cheaper one near El Puxtet. It was great to once again have my own bathroom and had a lovely bubble bath when I arrived. The hotel is quite smart, the location is safe and close to main sights and Hospital Clinic subway stop. Staff very helpful. Stay here while in Barcelona!
