"Clean, nice, but noisy"
My wife and I stayed here for two nights while attending Spring Training baseball games in Tempe. The location is good, close to Mills Avenue and lots of good restaurants and Diablo Stadium (though not within walking distance). Carpeting smelled new -- it seems they recently remodeled. Unfortunately, the hotel is very close to the Phoenix airport and […] the plane noise easily invades the room. Sound proofing is not good. All the hotel doors slam with a loud bang so we were quite aware when any neighbors came and went. Finally, the room air conditioner was as loud as the planes taking off. Between the planes, slamming doors, and air conditioning, we didn't sleep well. Final complaint: the toilet was, let's just say, inadequate. All things considered, I wouldn't stay here again. "In a word:disappointing. Worst. Marriott. Ever."
Unfortunately, our stay (on business) was not representative of the wonderful service Marriott offers. The accomodations were pleasing. The service was terrible, specifically, the front desk. We were often waiting in excess of 20 minutes for service in the lobby EACH time we went down, whether they were busy or not. "Very helpful & convenient"
They let us park our car there all week while we went on our trip. We also left our camera there and didn't realize until we had reached the airport. Great shuttle service and great place to stay if catching a flight. It's a little loud being so close to the airport, but that's to be expected. At registration it sounded as though food was included, so was surprised at breakfast that it was so expensive. The site said there was 24 hour hot water service, but there was not and there was a charge for tea in the am, but the staff provided hot water when asked. "Convenient to Chase Field"
The hotel is convenient to Chase Field for baseball games. Just a 15 minute drive from the hotel to Chase, mostly on freeways. Hotel is far enough from the freeway to be quiet. "Very Convenient"

Very neat, clean and sufficiently furnished room. Lobby and adjacent areas are very nice, and the "coffee shop" is a handy amenity - the individual booths and TVs make it seem much less like a hotel lobby. The young lady from Alaska behind the counter was particularly pleasant, and the Starbucks coffee and breakfast offerings (while priced on the high […] side) were in line with expectations. More than adequate parking and the hotel is very centrally located, with easy access to Hwy. 143 and from there, PHX and points beyond. Very clean and nicely maintained pool area. The staff seemed to be on autopilot and not very personable. The shuttle took 2 phone calls and 40 minutes (after 10:30 at night) to pick us up even though it was less than a 5 minute drive. Ir would have been nice if their sister hotel (literally right next door) had agreed to take us to our hotel, but their shuttle refused. The knock at the door […] at 7:15 am was also unpleasant.
