The website leads one to believe that there is more of a lobby bar and a restaurant for breakfast. We had both breakfast and drinks and a couple of appetizers in the main dining room and both times felt as though it was something of an imposition. Although the waiter on Saturday morning did turn around and was very pleasant toward the end and the food […] was good there just wasn't a warm feeling. People or temperature wise. The area was drafty and very chilly. Although the pool area was nice and located well you still had to walk all the way through the lobby to get any kind of service. I went to get drinks and there was no bartender on duty and I truthfully could have left without paying as one waiter called another to fix the drinks because he didn't know how and then they both left and I had to track someone down. I overall enjoyed my stay but the only thing I found to be a little displeasing. was I asked for a king size bed and instead I recived two twins. This killed my vibe a little and may alter my decision in staying at this hotel next time I stay over night in the tampa bay area! in the near future.

Good stay overall. Bed was good. Pillows could be better. Rooms are little. Need a small fridge or at least a bigger ice bucket. Price is high but hotel tries to justify it.

Beautiful hotel conveniently co-located with a great shopping center and restaurants. The best part was the restaurant/lounge scene that was terrific for unwinding after a tedious business trip. Loved it!

Overall pretty good. The hotel itself was really cold - overairconditioned to the point of discomfort. Didn't like the fact that the wireless was so expensive. Don't mind paying a little, but this was exhorbitant. The coffee was awful. Staff was great. I was disappointed that I had to pay 13.00 for WIFI service and 3.50 for a bottle of water. Coffee machine in room was poor. Towells were fair. Only one soda machine on each floor and ours was broken. Not a lot of extras for sure. Surprised since the hotel was so nice in general.

Went to Tampa for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game and it couldn't have been better! Got to town a little early and called for an early check-in; they were happy to do it but we ended up going to Ybor City for lunch and got to the hotel around 4PM and check-in only took a minute. We walked through the International mall. Up-scale mall with great stores! […] Later we dined at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City...fantastic (but get reservations) I was given a free breakfast for two when I checked in which was a wonderful surprise. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable and covered in a duvet. Very cozy and I slept like a baby. It's pretty hot in Tampa but our room was nice and cold. Our room was overlooking the pool and it looked very refreshing. There were plenty of people enjoying it and it looked like they were having fun. There was a newspaper delivered to our doorstep Sunday morning and went to breakfast at Pelagia Trattoria at the hotel. I had the crab and avocado Eggs Benedict that was delicious. My husband got the Classic Eggs Benedict and he loved it but with the free breakfast you can order from the menu, eat from the buffet or both! It was super! (BTW, the players from San Diego Chargers were staying there so you know it's a nice hotel.) The hotel is about a mile from the Stadium so it took us about 5 minutes to get there with traffic. Everything was great except for breakfast on our first day. The restaurant was quite busy and we never met any of the waitstaff. Seemed like they were overwhelmed and underprepared for the number of guests that were there. Other than that, we enjoyed the room/facilities.

This was our second stay at the Tampa Renaissance and I would highly recommend it to anyone- the staff is one of the friendliest and most accommodating, the location is very convenient (we walked to Raymond James Stadium); it is connected to a beautiful upscale mall with lots of places to eat and drink;plus a very nice restaurant and bar in the hotel […] itself. There is also complimentary transportation to the airport. If I had any complaint it would be that the bathroom was rather small, and there is an extra charge for internet-even if you use the business center they charge you by the minute. Location was great however hotel service was terrible. Had to call for directions because of GPS not knowing exact location and person I spoke to had a very impatient attitude. It was absolutely wonderful! The room was clean & it was great to be so close to the mall and restaurants. There was no need to worry about driving or taking a taxi since we were a walking distance away to where we wanted to go! :)

We stayed here for one night after arriving at Tampa airport before embarking on a cruise the following day. There was a complementary shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, a journey time of 5 minutes. The driver was very friendly. Check in was quick and easy and we had a very nice room overlooking the swimming pool on the fifth floor with two […] queen beds. The TV was a HUGE HD flatscreen. The pool was warm and good for a refreshing post flight swim. The great thing about this hotel is that it is attached to the International Mall so it is very handy for walking to a restaurant. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory. The beds in the hotel were very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had. Only one problem - we recieved a wake up call we hadn't requested at 6am! That annoyed us a little, but we managed to fall back to sleep. Our room rate had breakfast included and it was very good. There was an extensive hot and cold buffet and eggs and pancakes were freshly cooked. Tea, coffee, juice and soft drinks were all included. We stayed at this hotel for a romantic weekend getaway and it was great. The staff was extremely friendly and the accomodations were great. We booked our room with the breakfast included and it was so nice. We went down to the resturant for breakfast and our names were already "on the list". All we had to pay was the tip (which was worth it as the service […] was excellent). The breakfast included the buffet AND custom made omelets, waffles, and/or pancakes. The fruit was fresh and the omelettes were made to order. One night we went to a local resturant for dinner. We asked the front desk to get us a cab, but the offered to take us to the resurant in the hotel courtesy van (which was much nicer, and cheaper 0 tip only, than a cab). When we called to get picked up, they were there within 5 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be pampered. It was well worth the hotel.com rate. Pročitajte više

We only stayed one night. The staff was very helpful in giving us information for a Taxi that we could take that evening. A free airport shuttle was provided and on time the next morning. The room was very comfortable and very clean! Very nice shower.!
