First of all checked into a very small room that was entirely unacceptable for hotel standards in Italy......Have traveled there many times and have not experienced this .Told the management that they would never hear the end of it unless my room was changed ,which they did.Breakfast was average not the best but acceptable.Overall stay there was acceptable […] but had some isuues that were resolved.This hotel could be a lot better with an intervention from "hotels Impossible" but it did turn out okay.Just stick to your guns and fight for your room and all will be well. We only stayed for one night as we needed to be close to the train station for our morning flight. The hotel suited our needs for the night as we stayed less than 24 hours. Nice well kept hotel and the staff was very friendly. It was very close to termini station which allows you to get on the bus or metro and go any where in Rome. We stayed in Hotel Windrose for a total of about 9 days. We used this as our base in Italy from where we visited Florence, Pisa, Venice, Naples, Pompeii and Amalfi. The quad room was comfortable for 2 adults, a 9 year old and a 11 year old. We had 3 large suitcases, 1 small suitcase and 4 backpacks that we were able to comfortably accommodate in the […] room. The room had a refrigerator and a safe included. The hotel is located close to Termini Station and we used the Trenitalia trains for all our trips within Italy. I had heard / read that the area around Termini was unsafe. We roamed around at 11pm at night with 2 kids and never saw anything where we felt unsafe. There are plenty of police around even at night. The breakfast buffet is functional with 3 varieties of juices, cut fruit, some fantastic yogurt, cereals, eggs and slices of what seemed like ham (we are vegetarians and did not try this). In addition the servers bring you a cup of fresh coffee / tea / hot chocolate and a croissant. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families visiting Rome. Pročitajte više

Booking a non-chain hotel for a family room is a bit of a lottery, but I was very impressed with this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and a nice clean room. The room could have been a little bigger, but was perfectly adequate for the 4 of us. A pretty good breakfast included in the price too.

Very clean and great service. About three blocks from main bus/train terminal which offers access to everywhere in Rome. We prefer to walk versus taking transportation and was about 20 minute walk from Spanish Steps, great shopping and Trevi Fountain.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. All we got was a bed and a tv remote. The quarter size soap was never replenished and no hotel info was provided. The area was convenient to the train station but that's about it. The restaurant that the hotel referred us to (la famaglia) was substandard . Do not recommend this hotel at all.

It was very close to train station and still very quiet hotel. A very good service, but our shower was dirty and the floor was not cleaned the next day.
