Older hotel but has been upgraded, close to the I-70, w/ a restrant in front that is closed. Would stay again on my next trip.

One of the best motels I've ever stayed at for this price. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I was offered a free room upgrade. The location seems safer from the hustle bustle across the highway with all the other hotels and restaurants. It was very quiet even on a Saturday night. The room was very big and clean and the beds were very comfortable. […] The Internet was a bit on a slow side and half the channels came in fuzzy. The hotel was older but the room was ver clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. For an overnight pitstop it's a must for $40! Didn't know anything about the surrounding area to properly rate that part.

Overall a good experience. Nothing fancy - affordable, basic, clean. Would recommend some more healthy breakfast alternatives (e.g., eggs, yogurt, fruit in addition to biscuits and gravy). Otherwise, I'd stay again.

The beds were so comfortable, I think they may have been better then mine at home. The pool area was a good attempt but just wasn't quite there. The hot tub was not very hot and the pool was kind of cool and it was a cold day. It might feel good this summer.

The room was comfortable, clean, but in the two day visit no one came to replace our towels or throwout our trash. We did not sleep well, some pretty loud folks came in late and were yelling at the top of their lungs and just being silly at 1:00 a.m. They were removed from the premises. The next night, there was boom-boom music so loud until 2:00a.m. […] It was horrible. One could feel the boom-boom in your heart. Hotel personnel apologized but could do nothing because the club was part of the hotel and there was a private party being held. This was a stop-over on a cross country drive for one night only. Great for the price. The rooms were nicer than the outside or lobby. Clean with a comfortable bed, and we felt safe there.

My daughter and I came to see Eisenhower's Library. Our room was fine and although the pool was chilly, for the price we paid, I can not complain at all. Our room was fine and the only aesthetic issue is what surrounds the motel. A closed down gas station and restaurant with junk cars outside the pool window, but that just reminded me of home!

Both of my GPS's took me to the wrong place where this motel used to be. It's a long ways from the real Rodeway Inn. I had a really nice night's sleep here - bed was good - everything else "okay". You get about exactly what you pay for here.

Older motel that needs more updating. Room heater control didn't work, so it was either on or off. Stayed here before when it was okay, but it has detiorated.

it was a very cold night when we arrived. Our room was FREEZING and it took a long time to warm up. We warmed up the bed with a hairdryer and brought in an extra blanket that we had. But room was clean and bed was new and nice. Breakfast was ok biscuits and gravy and waffles. Would have liked some fruit or yogurt.

This hotel is in Salina, the midway point between Denver and my end destination. I needed a comfortable bed and WiFi, and that's what I got. This place isn't fancy, but it's right off of I-70 so it's convenient and safe and the price was right. I got in kinda late, but the front desk clerk checked me right in, explained where to park and where breakfast […] is served and had me on my way to my room in 5 minutes. The room was clean, and pretty large, and all the furniture and whatnot seemed to be in pretty good shape. The WiFi was easy to connect to, and pretty fast. The breakfast is pretty typical-- the ubiquitous waffle maker, some fruit, cereal, biscuits and gravy, etc, but it does the job. The tv reception was a teensy bit fuzzy, but that's the only thing I can think of that's even close to a complaint. I'll probably be making this drive a lot, so I'll definitely stay here again. The hotel looks to have been built in the 50's or 60's, with some renovations since then. It has very easy access, just a mile or so south of I-70. The room included a flat screen tv, clean comfortable beds, microwave, fridge, iron & board, hairdryer, black-out curtains - amenities not usually seen in rooms in this price range - and was pleasantly quiet. […] Requested a non-smoking room with 1Q bed. Was upgraded to a larger room with 2Q with no ashtrays but smelled of smoke. Overall, the room was dated but clean & comfortable. Breakfast was slightly above basic continental: b&g, fresh waffles, milk, oj, cereal, toast, donuts, tea & coffee, but I would have liked longer hours (7:30-9:30). The stay at the hotel was fine, except of course that the hot tub didn't work right. Our real problem was that we pre-paid via hotels.com but then the hotel also charged us. I contacted the hotel and they blew me off. After several phone calls they finally said they would refund the additional charge, but instead charged me again! Everything was mediocre except for the price - very inexpensive! Our only complaint was that Rodeway Inn double charged us. However, one quick phone call and the manager easily and cheerfully corrected the problem for us. This hotel met our needs on our drive through Kansas. I would recommend it, especially for someone wanting to save some money.

Don't know why there weren't more people staying here, because it is right off of I-70, and has a truck stop/Maxine's restaurant right next door (although you can't see or hear them!). Very convenient, AND they allow pets! We had 2 dogs and they originally had us booked into an upstairs room, but desk clerk was very nice and let us have a room downstairs […] (there were plenty available!). The breakfast had biscuits and gravy, as well as homemade waffles, cereal, bagels, toast, muffins, apples, bananas, coffee, milk, and orange juice. The room was nice and clean. There was a little park-like area that you could walk your dog. Too bad there was only about 10 people staying in a place that looked like it could hold 10 times that amount! I booked this hotel for my girlfriend. Upon arrival, two male workers at the front desk began hitting on her and being extremely inappropriate. She had wanted to use the indoor pool that evening, but felt extremely uncomfortable going to it after that interaction.
